Saffy: Nasty old TWW. I feel for you. I hope you get good news at the end of it. I came to the conclusion after a while that it was just impossible to predict the outcome. With this pg, i was certain AF was coming: I felt like a madly hormonal cow leading up to when AF was due. Terribly irritable etc. Didn't feel pg at all. And an early POAS was negative. But then AF didn't come and the next POAS was positive. So, you can't always tell.

Loops: Sounds like you've had a very stressful time of it. I hope you come up with a good plan B that works for you cost-wise and brings you the bub you dream of.
Crafty: I also read that story about a woman LTTC who got an unexpected natural BFP at 50! Extraordinary things sometimes happen...

thanks girls, I'm glad this tww will be over soon one way or another, I couldn't sleep last night worrying about everything, and had a massive cry this morning, so it is definately getting to me, haven't decided about poas, but leaning towards not doing it, esp in the light of no sore boobs, arghhhh!
At least I'm goingto work now, it will hopefully keep my mind off it,
hope everyone is enjoying their weekend- spring is in the air!

hi matthewsmum, no I am preferring to live in blissful ignorance without poas because i will be devastated to get a bfn. 1 day til BT and no sign of spotting yet which is good for me cos usually something is happening by now, not sure if I will cave and poas tomorrow before BT.

Afm: I had my scan, I'm freaking out, I'm 7 weeks today but bub only measured 6 weeks 1 day, had a heartbeat but was low at 91 beats. I am so scared, my 9 week miscarriage at 8 weeks was 2 weeks behind & heart rate of 67, then they tried to tell me my dates were wrong but I knew they weren't

Feels like it is happening all over again :cry:

Minniemouse- sorry you didn't get any reassurance from your scan but I really :pray: that is will still be ok, are you having another scan?? The gynae I used to work for wasn't too stressed it if it was less than a week difference so hopefully your little one will catch up :hug:

My BHCG was 150 and progesterone 140 so I am shaking with excitement, please be sticky little one, have just been on the phone crying to DH!!!!!!!

minnie-sorry the scan wasn't more reasuring,have you booked another in,hopefully bub will have a growth spurt next time,lots of hugs.try to remember all pregnancies are different,even though it's like what happened before,that doesn't mean it always has a sad outcome,thinking of you

Minnie - 6 days isn't really that uncommon. It could be bubs took a little while longer to burrow in. I know it's stressful sweetie but I still think things are looking good for you.

Minniemouse - I'm sorry your scan was not what you hoped for and I know there is nothing that will stop the worry.:comfort: When will they scan again?

afm: ultrasound report says low fluid & low heart rate & "prognosis guarded", my hcg rose slightly from 12900 to 14800 over more than 48 hours so i'd say its a fore gone conclusion, so that is it, i give up

Oh Minniemouse please don't give up. I'm sure all this sort of thing used to happen in pregnancies long before we had all this technology to scare us. Pregnancies don't have to go along with some set plan to work out fine. We'll all be thinking of you sweetie.:comfort:

thanks girls but i have resigned myself to the fact its over, im refusing to have another scan, just can't see bub now with no heartbeat, i might have bloods next week to see if they are dropping yet, my only problem is im still on progesterone which im sure is a total waste of time, does anyone know if i will still bleed while on them ?

hi ladies,minniemouse-i've bleed on the pessaries,as you know i'm on the coast,so my hand is on offer for holding if you want for blood tests,dr apps,waiting for the phone to ring etc...sunbeam-when are you due to test???

I was wondering if I could join this thread?? DH and I started TTC June 10 and had nothing for 6 cycles. Then MC, then 4 cylces, another MC and we have just started TTC again in the last couple of months.

I have been reading some of your stories and realised I am not the only one in this situation. The story is always sold that it will be easy (and it has been for most people I know). One good friend said I should try BB as I have been really down of late.

Thank you for sharing your stories. My AF is due Monday/Tuesday. Fairly sure she's on her way but always hoping...and very nervous.

Saffy don't know what to think really as she normally arrives day 28 or 29 but the last 2 cycles had been 14 days apart if you remember so I have no idea. I have also had a 34 day cycle last year so at my age anything is possible. Have no symptoms at all not even a headache and that normally happens of late when AF is at the door.
Fraggle welcome to our part of the world sorry circumstances made it neccessary for you to be here but we all here for the same reason TTC after mc and we all know how sad life can be at times. If we can be of comfort to you we will ;)

Trying not to analize everything atm this TWW is now going into 3WW

Minnie I am sorry when you asked about bleeding I assumed you had some. Well that said then I think maybe you will be ok scans this early are not as accurate as at later stages and the fact your hcg did go up is a good sign isn't it sometimes I think knowing too much doesn't help try not to stress what will be will be and no spotting and no cramps is a good sign try to relax ! I have had a few scares over the years but not all ended bad. :pray: you will be ok

I too think I am going to try and have a break from BB. You ladies are the best but I'm finding out more and more friends that I've shared this journey with are getting PG and I think I kinda wanna just try and enjoy my life and try forget about TTC for a bit.I had a chat to my step-mum the other day who is a councellor and I think I agree with her that a break may do me some good.

Fraggle Rock - Welcome to our little thread :hello: I'm sorry it has been a hard road for you so far but you are in the right place. These ladies are awesome in their love and support and their collective knowledge about TCC is huge.

Saffy - You getting more symptoms yet? Any MS?

Loops - I hope you will pop in from time to time but I think a break is a good idea I've taken several over the years it is sometimes nice just to get on with life and forget about TCC as much as possible for a while. We'll miss you.

AFM - Its not even 7 o'clock on a sunday morning but I can't sleep in because I'm too excited about my birthday party which isn't for 4 weeks yet (I'm such a kid!! :D) Got some awesome fabric yesterday from Spotlight to make myself a dress I'll post a photo when it's finished.
As for the TWW well the party planning has been good for taking my mind off it but I'm 8dpo today and apart from little bits of cramping no symptoms. Not even getting bigger veiny bbs that I usually get on the prog by now so no idea. I won't test till about thursday. Got a bit freaked yesterday when I realised that if I stick with my plan then I have about 5 more tries and that's it! The end of the TTC road! It'll be hard to quit but I am still very comfortable with my plan B.

AFM well day 32 for me and still no nothing did a test sat and BFN but thinking about it I only got a faint opk on day 21 this month so maybe too early to test or maybe I just didn't ovulated who knows I guess AF will show up in her own unwelcome time

thanks for all your thoughts :hug: im just so confused and in limbo, it seems im still pregnant but the numbers aren't going up as they should, they were 14800 last wednesday and today was 19515, dr is cautious, basically saying it is still viable and growing but if it slow it might mean there is a problem. she has said to have a scan 2 weeks after the first which isn't for another 9 days.

i just don't know what to think, i really thought it was all over and now i don't know what to think, don't know if there is any hope and don't want to get my hopes up only to find them crushed in a few days, i have cried for days over this and it doesn't look like i will know much more anytime soon *sigh* why is it so hard

afm- no real symptoms here, but I am only 4.5 wks lol- sore boobs have arrived but no porno boobs like last time- spewing lol! Little bit of nausea in the morning and some occassional cramping but otherwise I am feeling good!
