Hi ladies saffy glad your feeling more positive its nice to see that and glad your new fs is a good one
sunbeam sorry for the BFN hope it changes tomorrow to a BFP !
everyone else thinking of you and praying you get your wish soon

afm well the results are in for my hormone tests last week my progesterone was 29 on day 14 so indicated I have ovulated this month all my other hormone and LH tests were good so basically they are saying I am still fertile wow that was a suprise! DH did his sperm test and it was 26 million so again very good motility and morphology good too and we were told as it was nearly 4 hrs old by the time it was tested it really was an impressive result should of been higher really if it was tested withing the hour .
So my new GP is a fantastic lady and went to a fertility semminar last week with me in mind so she could get some more info on helping us as she knew our plans to go to Thailand. Anyhow she has asked if I would wait 6 to 8 months before going to Thailand as she is hopeful we can acheive a BFP by ourselves its just going to be a bit more technnical I have to have blood tests every 3rd day from when AF arrives and she will tell me when to DTD and also help with counciling, What can I say but Yes of course I can try for another 6 months or so just to see if we can do it by ourselves.
so plans for Thailand are on hold until July next year but now I know they will see me as I will be 47 by then and well in the age bracket. So that is my news atm

    Hi Lovelies,

Crafty-That's so good that your hormone levels are still all good. The new doc sounds awesome I will be very interested to hear what she is planning and doing. It is so great that DH swimmers are also doing great considering how things were years ago when you started out

Hi to everyone else where are people up to?

AFM - Well very embarrasing phone call to the new FS as the receptionist asked for my "partner's" date of birth and I didn't know it made up a date but was not even close not sure how I'll explain that one if we end up there. They want to do a release of info from my other doc but I don't want to do that as I don't want him knowing to start with in case it puts him off side also I'm not sure his notes won't say that both my "parnters" were in fact donors!! I am going to the appointment alone just to get a feel for the new FS and get a second opinion on a few things if we do swop over it probably won't be till the new year. CD1 for me today and having a proper AF for the first time in 4 cycles

Sunbeam - Glad to hear AF is behaving but sorry she is here. And at not knowing your partners DOB. I totally understand why you don't want the new FS to have the old FS's notes. Best of luck with this cycle, are you going to insem again?

Joeve - thanks for the stalkies . We must almost be cycle buds then? Hope it goes well. When are you talking to the FS next?

Scan tomorrow at the crack of dawn. But I have EWCM for the first time in about 3 years woot! DH is gunna get pinned to the mattress tonight . Should trigger tomorrow morning for O sometime early Friday evening.

So- I can't remember whether I posted in here that I had clotting factor blood tests after seeing FS the other day. Well, he called today to say that there are some abnormalities- high anticardiolipin antibody and slightly high homocistein ( spelling?).
So now I have to take aspirin/ clexane etc with my next transfer, which I'm happy to do of course, he said its not going to guarentee anything but the risk/benefit ratio is in favour of doing it.
Urrgghh, constant obstacles but hopefully it will mean a chance at achieving a successful pregnancy.
Feeling a bit teary but at least i know my FS is on the ball and doing everything possible.

maruschke- sounds like a good, positive scan- welldone ovaries!!
    joeve-have you O'd yet??
tasha- I hope you aren't in here as long as some of us!!
sunbeam-thats a classic, you should have said "I don't know I only met him a few weeks ago" haha!! Send AF over to me please, ta.
crafty- your GP sounds fantastic- how enthusiastic is she??If she wants some more 'challenging' cases send her to the rest of us next lol! I hope she works some magic, at least you have a back up plan too xx
minnie- I hope you are going ok hun

    Hi Lovelies,

Saffy - I am glad your bt showed something that is easy to treat and may lead to a sticky bub soon. Sorry you are a bit teary big hugs. You can have AF unfortunately she only stuck around here for about 36 hours, I just hope that was long enough!

Hi tasha- Welcome to our thread

Maruschke - Whoo! two great follies you might get twins Good luck for tomorrow.

AFM - Booked for my cd14 scan will ask FS then if he will let me go straight to IUI with new donor or how he'd be with me going to a different clinic if he can't. I'd rather do it with him but I know he really stuck his neck out for me last time and could get in trouble but buggered if I'm waiting 6 months and using frozen sperm! relly tryiong hard to shoft some weight but zero will power at the monent even though I keep telling meself it might help me conceive. Help me!

Saffy - how do you feel about it? I guess in some ways it's nice to have an explanation, even though it sucks to find something wrong, if you know what I mean. FX the clexane helps your next frostie stick

sunbeam - hope the FS plays ball .

Joeve - must almost be bumping uglies time?

joeve- sounds like good timing to me!
maruschke-I think you're in line to be our next bfp?? Are you post trasfer now? I'm feeling ambivalent about the results- good cos hopefully it is the answer but sad that my bubbas were lost because of it xx
sunbeam- god its ridiculous what you have to go through, i really hope he agrees to go ahead with your IUI.
tasha- not long til your appt- its exciting to start a cycle, I agree- makes you soo close to a bfp!
afm-so impatient waiting for AF- although she isn't due til sunday or monday, but she could at least come EARLY cos I want to start a cycle-right now!!
