Welcome back Tantee!! You should know a week in the world of LTTTC is an eternity!

    Hope you are well

I am off to a scan and bt right now to check my ovulation progress for the FET. This cycle feels weird - not actually doing anything until the transfer!!
The rest of my day will be filled up with a busy day workwise

    Hope everyone is well

Hi Everyone, hope you are having a smooth and easy Wed morning.

It’s been a while, so while I’m going to attempt some persies, I know that there will be many that I have missed, so I apologise in advance.....

Willi – omg!!!! Love logging in to see such WONDERFUL news. I wish you an amazing journey in your pregnancy and beyond.

Loops – I’m sorry hun that the witch arrived. You are such a positive and determined person, I know that by hook or by crook you will get there in the end, whether it be via natural or ivf measures or adoption. It is good to hedge your bets.

Teirae – Wow, you must have left home in the middle of the night like a stealth ninja on a mission to be in the waiting room by 9. It’s hard to say when EPU will be, it depends on your reaction to the stims I guess. In my experience, I have started stims approx 8 days after starting suppression, stimmed for about 9/10 days and then trigger and then EPU 36 hours after that. Hope your appt went smoothly today.

JBM – Happy jabbing, I’m sure it will all come back to you, like riding a bike! I noticed you said embies, does that mean you are planning on transferring 2 this time if all goes well?

N2L – Where are you up to? Hope you are finding plenty of distractions. Are you switching to medicated FET now? 9mm lining isn’t too far off is it?

Happybaby – Good to hear from you hun. I hope you are feeling a little better. I hope your test results are OK. Take good care of yourself, June will be here before you know it.

Saffy – How are you going? I just saw your post in the 2ww, I'm so sorry, it’s so very tough, especially when your body is giving you such crossed signals. Maybe another opinion is a good idea. I hope you get some time out to nurture yourself through this tough time. Take care, thinking of you today.....

Smejam – Welcome, and good luck with your jabbing too. I hope all went smoothly on your first round of jabbing.

Kass – Yay for a smooth transfer. I find that one of the most stressful parts about it, the whole full bladder thing stresses me out. I hope your little embie is making him/herself at home.

Blossum – Hope you are doing OK. How is your furbaby doing?

Elocin and Albi – I hope you are managing to keep your sanity in your 2ww’s

Whew! I hope that's everyone, Hi to anyone I have missed.

AFM - *Warning* Cranky pants post...
Have been feeling quite numb after my M/C. Well not really numb, but angry more than sad. I am so sick of all this but don't want to give up. I am going for karyotype (genetic/chromosone) testing this week to see if there is a particular reason that I have had 2 m/c's in 6 months.
A friend said last week was trying to be helpful by saying that I will probably get pg when I relax and forget about it all. Oh yeah, sometime over the last 4.5years, endless appt's, hundreds of pills, dozens of U/sounds and 100's of needles, 3 EPU's, 5 trfrs, 2 m/c's ,2 Laparoscopies... I forgot to relax, that'll do it! Stupid me!!!! Why didn't I think of that!! I know people mean well and don't know what to say, but I am so sick of it and I could have paid off 1/2 my ivf if I had a dollar for everytime someone said that to me or felt they had to list everyone they ever met who had successful ivf. I shall be saying boo to noone from now on. Next time if someone asks me when I am going to have another one and will say no and just leave it at that and not feel like I should have to justify myself.

I think DH has pretty much given up on all this and has pretty much said he has no faith in the whole process which has been pretty upsetting for me. I still have 5 frosties and don't want to give up just yet. Hopefully nothing is found in the testing and it's just rotten luck that we've had.

Am still waiting for first AF and will start OCP then, shouldn't be too far off now.
Good news, from the Lap I had done at the same time as curette, FS found that my Endo had calmed down considerably which is fantastic. I have been on Light and Easy for 3 weeks now and have lost about 3.5kgs so that has got to help. Hopefully by next cycle I will have a few less kg's to help improve my chances.

Sorry for the down post, just had to get all that out.... aaah, feeling a bit better now. Thanks for listening chickies.

Tantee -comments like that make me so upset! Well meaning or not, most people have no idea what this process is like I don't know what makes people think that's the right thing to say. Hope your tests go well, and go you with the L + E!

JBM - once you finally start it goes so quickly! Hope everything goes smoothly for you

Loops - sorry af arrived. Sounds like you're making big decisions

Teirae - Yep - synarel is gross! Congrats on the new house Hope everything happens when it should for you - all that travel sounds very inconvenient!

Blinky - sorry I don't have an answer for you. Are you transferring again soon?

    Smejam - happy jabbing!

Albi - sounds like you're close to testing Have you popped into the tww thread?

Hope you're all going really well - sorry if I've missed anyone

Having 5 frosties in terrific ~ one of those will be the one!! Dont give up, we'll be in this together.

teirae: yipee for moving forward, how nice to get a cuppa at the clinic. it hepls. good luck to you on your journey. x. i think the epu is usually 2 weeks from start of jabbing ?. hope you know soon as 8 hours trip must be so exhausting. x
loops: just sending you a big hug atm. wish it was more. x o x o
blinky: welcome to our thread, don't really have the answers for you though. good luck to you on this cycle.

good luck snifing, jabbing, for epu's, for ET's , for TWW, for FS apps, etc etc etc.........

afm: well i'm on break at work atm and not on BB.... lol.... it's my break time and my laptop so it's not hurting anyone. i chose to spend my break with you guys. lol cause you care about me more than the boys at work, i work with all men !!! eek but my DH is one of them so it's not that bad. and i only work 25 hrs a week also.

yes i am having 2 x embies, someone asked and i can't remember who ?, i am praying for twins, lol. so i don't have to do IVF again.

i think i bruised myself with jab last night and had to do it twice as i didn't push it in all the way the first time. ouch, double ouch...eek
the sniffing is giving me slight headaches but usually only in the morning ?, who knows but i am on panadol atm to help me.

my sister is also preggers, only told me the other day, she is 12 weeks, she was so worried about telling me as she knows what i've been thru, this is baby no 3 for her and she has also had a break of 8 years. i am so so excited for her atm and hope to be preggers with her next month.

fingers crossed, maybe she can spread some BFP germs to us all..... good luck guys

    What's time out from TTC???

There's time enough for that when I hit menopause

Just joking. I fully understand the need to take a break. Although, given I am 40 in two months or so I cant afford to take longer than about five minutes or so.

I've been having blood tests every two or three days, as well as the daily OPKs. The bad news is I think I have missed the surge. On Wednesday and Thursday the OPK had a second pink line. However the line was quite a bit fainter than the control.

I am using Seratec OPKs from the clinic which, in their opinion, are the best (who knows but I guess they are sensitive). It clearly says on the pack that a fainter line is not a positive. For a test to be indicating a surge it needs to be either the same or darker than the control line. Soooo....I assumed my fainter pink lines were just indicative that a surge was on its way. This was confirmed by Thursday's BT which indicated a rise in LH and progesterone.

Fast forward to yesterday. No second pink line at all. I ring the clinic. They say go and have a blood test because the faint lines could have actually have been a positive. I had the BT and am waiting for results.

This morning, absolutely no second pink line and I have mild discomfort in my back and ovary area which I think may be ovulation....

I have to have a FET two days after O. However, it is not scheduled yet so I dont know if they would be able to sqeeze me in on Monday if I am indeed ovulating today.

How's this for a quick update...

Literally the second I pressed send my phone rang. It was the clinic and, yep, I ovulated yesterday.

Looks like I will be having a transfer tomorrow. The nurses are just trying to get hold of my FS (who is on leave) to confirm the go ahead.

While I am a bit excited, at the same time I kind of dont hold out a lot of hope for this transfer. It is an embie from my first cycle and it wasn't a terrific grade.

Last month I had two "perfect" grade fresh embies implanted. They didnt stick. What are the chances of this one sticking when, on paper, it isnt as good.

N2L - had to jump on quickly to tell you my FS said many times the lower grade embies are the ones that hang on in there! There is every chance this one will stick...... Stay positive xxx Good luck tomorrow. That's great they got you in! Sticky vibes little one! Xxxx
