Hi girls- BFN for me, sorry in the delay for reporting in, but have been at work til 11pm last night and today. I'm actually not even that disappointed as I knew I have no symptoms and now I know I just have to wait for AF then can start the pill for my next cycle. SO....hurry up AF!

Fatgirlslim- Excuse me but I think you need to........POAS???? The cramps could be implantation, hope so!

Trishy- yeah I would freak out about twins too, instant family!

Kass- I think I've read stuff about soy and oestrogen levels, but nothing aobut sperm, sorry love.

Springlola- Any signs of AF yet?? I don't but boobies are getting a little bit sorer, sooo imopatient

Well, I am definately having a drink tonight, I will be on the floor after one as its been so long lol

    babydust to all!!!!

Saffy: So about the BFN..bring on the AF, still no sign of mine either, feel really grumpy but I'm sure thats just because I feel taken for granted by my *Adult*sic Children...and a stupid bike race that added an hour to my travel times ...bit over the hole thing at the moment.

fatgirlslim: Totally feeling your pain..I'm getting really angry too..its like nothing is working the way its supposed too..enjoy your massage and make sure you doze off to lala land..what a thoughtful man your DH is..

trishy & Kass: Thanks for answering, I'm going to call FS tomorrow and ask why...sick of waiting..

Well off to check my mares see if any of them decide to foal in this terrible weather..

    Cheers to everyone

    Waaaaaaahhhh... nothing.... NOTHING!!!!

Saffy - I did POAS day before yesterday, no surprises there!

Springlola - It's so hard when you put every living moment into something - and everyday you're waiting to get it all started - and everyday, you get bitterly disappointed about not starting...

I am finding it SOOOO hard to keep my mind off it. I run to the loo like, 15 times a day at work - just to be sure... I am turning into a psycho ivf-er.

Looks like my September cycle is now going to be an October cycle...

    MEH.

Springlola- yep we are definately at the same place! How funny, hope we get to cycle together again! If my AF ever comes...

Fatgirlslim-you should do another test if its been a few days? Sorry, no pressure intended.

This really is cr*ppy, one of us at least has to get AF soon, my boobs are getting sorer by the day but no sign at all of AF. HURRY UP PLEASE!!!

fatgirlslim, springlola, saffy - sorry you're all still waiting!

thanks for the thoughts on soy, from what I've read it can increase oestrogen levels (which probably isn't good for guys!). We don't eat a huge amount of it but DH can't do dairy so he gets through 2 or 3 litres of soy milk a week. It's probably not even close to the amount that could affect things, but we're thinking of doing a diet overhaul anyway for a few months - can't hurt right?

Kass: I know my mum takes these tablets which allow her to eat dairy.
Saffy+FGSlim: Hugs girls bugger bugger bum I came on today thinking I'd see a bfp from one of you. hope af hurry's up so you can get into next round
AFM: just still in libo af is due next friday and am hoping she's late by a day IF she has to come as I have booked dh and I in for a woodlands retreat for our 2 yr wedding anniversary. Just been plodding along enjoying life and not thinking about stuff atm. dh is still hoping for a miracle and af doesn't show at all I love how optimistic he is keeps me sane lol

true - I'm pretty sure those tablets are for lactose - unlucky for DH he's allergic to a protein in the milk so they wouldn't help.

Retreat sounds nice - congrats on your anniversary!

    Hey Ladies,

All we seem to be doing in here is waiting waiting WAITING. Rrraaa

Kass - I love your diet overhaul idea. It can only be a good thing - I sometimes wonder about the long term problems we might be causing by all the ivf and stuff, so at least trying to be really healthy should help turn that around AND increase our chances, surely?

Trueblue - fingers crossed that AF doesn't come (or at least comes late) and doesn't barge her way into your lovely anniversary retreat. We are staying at a nice hotel that same weekend for a friend's wedding and I just know that AF will be the very unwelcome third party there, Our DHs must be living in the same alternate universe I think - mine still thinks I am completely fertile.

Saffy - so sorry! Has it hit you yet or are you still feeling ok about it? Hope AF doesn't stuff you around

    Fatgirlslim - anything???

AFM - Just found out I am having a biopsy on friday to test for NK cells and a blood test next week for the same thing. So, can't get UTD this cycle - am really hoping they find something so I haven't wasted this cycle for nothing (is that a bit warped?). DH said last night that he thinks we would have had 10 kids by now if we weren't doing ivf. He seems to think that the reason we are having problems is because our embryos are frozen and that can't be good. Hmmmm, I love his optimism but I wonder why he thinks we have been doing ivf in the first place

I hope you are all well (sorry to all I missed) and we see some action and BFPs in here soon

    Hey Ladies -

Trueblue & Oneday - congrats on both of your 2 year anniversaries

Kaybee - interesting husband-logic... hehe, good luck with that xxx

    Saffy - you still waiting?

AFM... officially late. Later than I have been in forever. I am too scared to take another test - because I dont feel like I could be pg. I reckon, the moment I take the test AF will come - you know - just to have a laugh. GRRRRRR. Between caffeine withdrawals, PMS and the stress of an upcoming ICSI cycle... I am a WONDERFUL person to be around - particularly @ work - where I have been getting the "Oh, aren't you so SNIPPY today.." comments.

Yes, yes thanks... I am Snippy... thanks for mentioning it...

My massage was cancelled because I had a meltdown because I realised I hadn't shaved legs and armpits (TMI!!!!! I KNOW!!!!! I AM SORRY!!!!) - so hubby sent me some loveeeeeely flowers to my work.

Long weekend this weekend... I hope AF comes tomorrow, so I dont have to spend the WHOLE weekend wondering when, when, when...?!?!

Thanks for listening to my rant

If any of you ladies have twitter... I'm @imfatgirlslim

Now, I gotta get ready to be all super-snippy at work today :P

    L xx

Fatgirlslim-can't beleive people called you snippy at work- rude! They should just avoid you if they can't handle it. Oh babe, I'm sorry you feel so frustrated. Just try and hang in there, I know you don't feel pregnant but you had all that cramping last week so there is still a chance, do you have sore boobs? If you aren't (but I hope you are) I hope AF hurries up and comes so you can get on with plan B.
Nice of hubby to arrange a massage for you, sorry you had to cancel it ( for what its worth I'm sure they don't care about hairy armpits, I work with 'bodies' every day and you get used to seeing everything) Take it easy babe xx

Oneday- congratulations on your anniversary- I'm so jealous you are going to fiji!

Kaybee- good luck with the biopsy tomorrow- is it a uterine biopsy? Thats funny about DH, we forget that they don't obsess about every little element of TTC so don't always understand what is going on.

Trueblue- have a great weekend away and hope AF doesn't come with you! Congrats on your anniversary.

Hi Kass and Springlola and anyone else lurking

AFM- at the risk of sounding like a broken record- still no AF!

Saffy: I had a bit of AF this morning..not much but I'm running with it. For me it will do, hopefully FS says the same..yours can't be far away I stopped my meds the friday before you so Sunday I'm thinking is you day..

FGSlim: keep your chin up chicken..I've worked with sooo many people like you described, the one day you've have enough and say something they start that..terrible people...maybe you should poas just to see what happens......I don't know how you have the self control not too.

Kaybee: good luck with the biopsy, one step closer ...my DH is a bit the same.I cracked it a bit at him the other day when he was implying that it was my problem, I quickly stated there was nothing wrong with me honey...considering he is the one who had a Vas done, I lack his Optimism or denile...

True & Oneday: Enjoy your happy anniversary's sounds like a lot of planning when in to them. I've never that organised,...and most times forget..I'm a terrible wife for dates.

AFM: Well had a little bit of AF this morning, so off to ring the FS..hopefully its enough to keep them happy. Here we go again!!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day...

Kass: what a bugger I have an allergy to bought milk so it must be something to do with pasturisation or something beacuse i can drink as much out of the vat as I want and not be effected
Kaybee: lol we are unknown infert so we are hopeful in anyway dh is just so optimistic and seems to obsess more about my symptoms than me lol he's like ben in packed to the rafters lol
FGSlim: fx'd chick hope a miracle has occured if not hope af shows up real soon and how rude of the people at work that's what I loe about mine if I am snappy or cranky the cows just look at me stupid

Hi everyone - sorry but this is a 'me' post

Saw my fs today and I'm feeling annoyed. After commenting that 5 frozen embies is the best I've done and that 3 are very good, the other two ok, his advice was 'lets thaw them all at once to get the best one' Umm, ok, then I have none! Then he tells me that the thawed ones have about a 20% success rate, so it's not worth trying them one-by-one. When I asked if I could thaw one 'good' one and one 'average' one - and try both if they survive, he said no - 'too high a risk of twins'. So it's too risky to put back two, but it's not worth keeping more than one. WTF?

Can't help but think the fact that a fresh one costs about 4 times as much as frozen has a bit to do with this advice. So frustrated!

Kass it sounds like that specialist just want your money!!!! Iv never heard of that before and i thought there was more then 20% chance on the frozen cycles! Theres no way i would thaw all 5 at once, he obviously dosn't understand what an emotional, physical and financial rolercoaster a STIM cycle is! Could you possibly get a 2nd opinion?

Kass: I tend to agree with oneday on that, I find it offensive that he is telling you what to do with your embies, instead of advising...I would certainly be getting a second opinion.
As if its not hard enough going through all the sh#&* just to get any to freeze let alone 5...gob smacked!!!
