As per the heat question, Ive also heard it is best to have cooler, shorter showers and definitely no baths or spas. I stupidly had a spa bath last time as I went away and hadn't read the details properly on discharge papers.

Hi to all I have missed, wanted to keep it short so I can go and rest again.
AFM ~ A successful transfer today of 1x5 day blasty and also had good news that the other 4 are still doing well, so If they make it to blasty tomorrow they will be frozen, FX!
GL all with , EPU's, Transfers, TWW and cycles! LOTS OF Big hugs!
Melissal - I agree with Renee...give your body time to adjust..although i must admit this time round i wasn't as sore in the booby dept. as i normally would be...so don't worry..just rest up and let your body heal nicely for ET!!

Moonflower - babysitting..i LOVE babysitting my nieces...so much fun and laughs!! Enjoy hon..helps take your mind off a lot of stress. Kids have a way of doing that!

AFM - yes! i poas'd again and this time it was a dark line that came up almost instantly!!! I am soooooooooooooooo excited, however i am waiting for that something to come and take it all away..i just feel its toooo good to be true!! This can't be happening to me!! Its tooo good to be happening to me! Things this great never happen to me!! What can i say girls...sorry about the damping notes, but its just tooo unbelievable at the moment!
Well, DH has cooked Valentines dinner after all the prepping i did to suprise him..gotta go, but i'll check back later!

Melissal - Hope your body is getting ready for the important job it has to do very soon - carrying your new bubba! I remember being shocked that I actually felt discomfort after my EPU as I have a pretty high pain threshold but if you think about what your body has been through it's not a surprise it's a wee bit sore.
Danyelle - So sorry to hear your news. Sending you the strength to get through this and come out the otherside soon Glad to hear though that the NK Cell Test was able to be done and hope the results are useful too.
Miss K- Hope you are lookin after yourself in preparation for your big day too. Go embies Go!

AFM - No news of course, I don't get my AF before my BT's and as I don't POAS (I found years of getting no result far too depressing) it's going to be a loooooong week! No Valentines day surprise for me as apparently it's commercial. Have yet to see any evidence of dinner being cooked either. How Romantic!

AFM - WARNING TMI I am suffering I can't go to the toilet because of the high amount of protein I am on the nurse told me pear juice would help but its not and I am unsure if its safe to take a laxitive expecially with ET Wed and possible OHSS so any help would be nice!!!

I had a similar issue and couldn't take anything medical (didn't want to risk it) so the doc suggested drinking heaps of water, having a big bowl of porridge in the morning with prunes in juice on the top certainly helped (but it did make me a bit 'windy' until my body sorted itself out!) Hope this issue is resolved quickly - there is something else over the counter which was really mild I think I also could have taken but chose not to.

Just popping my head in to see how all you lovely ladies are getting along. I see January was quiet after Christmas and things but everyone is gearing up again now. I am praying for you all and hoping that there is plenty of BFP action in here over the next few weeks. I hope that even if it doesn't happen this month that 2010 will be the year for you all.

Miss K - wow 16 fertlised eggies - fantastic!!!! May they carry on growing strong!! Glad you got your Crinone question sorted - we have these other ones in NZ that are two little pessaries three times a day and they don't come with applicators - so gross!!! The things we do, huh?!! How exciting for Wednesday!!

Trubabe - glad you are feeling a bit better and bleeding has eased. I have one tatt, a little celtic symbol at the base of my spine. About 18 months after I got it done, I had an op on my back. The surgeon did an awesome job at sewing it up and matching everything but when the wound was healing, it itched so damn much that now I have this big lin through it where I kept scratching at it - whoops!!!! Not such a biggie cos I have to do a fair bit of acrobatics in front of a mirror to even see it so it can't bug me too much
Lairdoz - you strong woman, you, not poas!!! I hav great plans of not but I'm sure come the weekend, I'll cave. Doesn't help that I'm working over the weekend and there will be lots of lovely preg tests t tempt me!! Lucky me, I work in the very lab where all of our
E2, progesterones and HCG are done. So trying to keep a bit of privacy is v difficult. However it does mean I can have a right old poas-fest if I so choose to!!!!!
Me - three days down, only 8 more to go!!!! Been a right sooky today - I have done so well thrughout this whole process but everything made my bawl today - embarrassing!!! I called the clinic today to see about our other 2 embies but sadly they haven't made it to the freeze. Oh well, one is better than none
Just a really quick visit to say we got 12 eggs today @ EPU. Less than last time but hopefully better quality, will know more tomoz. I am really quite sore and feel a little queasy so I have DH at my beck and call

AFM- I cant believe how well i feel, after the past 4 days or so been so sick, but had my BT this morning, and waited " all " day for the result's but they are in... nurse said my blood's are "Excellent " and that they are over 1000, i really dont know what she meant by over 1000, but the way she said "excellent" I know it must be good.. so, back for another Bt and US Wednesday morning and hopefully EPU around friday. Fx crossed. we only got one eggie last time that fertilized we are hoping for 2 this time, but would be happy with 1.
