Good Morning everyone,

Danyelle - I'm sorry but I don't really know anything about the Thyroid Antibodies. I had a look on the net also, but it seems very complex and I would not even dare to hazard a guess to what it means. I hope that you get your answers next week, although it is great to hear that your other results are fine.

Renee - What a great result. I hope you are resting up and feeling good. Sending positive vibes to your little embie.

Littlegem - GL for Monday.

Lairdoz - I'm sorry you have had such a tough week. In regard to your fresh/FET question - I think I remember reading somewhere (during the squillions of hours I have spent googling various TTC stuff) that there are Medicare rules in regard to having a fresh cycle if you still have a certain number of frosties (not sure how many). But don't quote me on that. As for the fresh cycle I suppose it would depend on the quality of your embies. I would probably go fresh if I had little confidence in their quality. However you hear stories of poor looking embies thriving and going on to be FET success stories. It is such a lotto!
My FS will be looking at an antagonist cycle next time which is much shorter than a down reg. Approx 30 days from jabbing to BT result and from what I understand can be used if you a good responder to meds.

Mum2B - Hope your scan goes well tomorrow and that your eggies are coming along nicely.

MelissaL - You are doing so well to have not POAS. I am a bit of a POAS fan. (I seem to always POAS on the very morning of AF even if it's been late/early - ironic really.)
GL for Tues only 2 more sleeps to go.

bj*81 - Hopefully you will not even need to consider a new FS after this cycle! I have just changed FS's and am feeling optimistic. It was not a problem ordering copies of my last clinic's records of previous cycles and only took a 2 days to get them. Sometimes a fresh outlook may make the difference.

Miss K - How are you surviving the 2WW? Hope you have plenty of distractions and that the time flies for you.

Loops & Emerald - Hope you are travelling well.

Sorry to anyone I have missed, I am still trying to get my bearings.

AFM - Came across an article in the Sunday paper in regard to a new test that will be available as soon as next month called AMH Testing. It has been dubbed as 'the Egg timer' and it is a blood test that will "accurately" tell women how many eggs they have left.

It measures the concentration of a specific hormone found in a woman's ovaries called anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) the test will cost approx $65. A low level indicates a depletion in egg supply and a possible poor response to IVF drugs and high levels can indicative of potential OHSS from stims.

So I guess it could be helpful for an FS to help determine dosage more accurately on a first cycle, which would be great in helping reduce the number of cycles or potential heartache in cancelled cycles.
