Has your hubby tried accupuncture? My hubby has only 1.5% normal morphology and it was recommended that he give accupuncture a go as it is supposed to increase sprem count and improve morphology. He hasn't yet as he is too worried about where they will stick the needles lol!

No he hasn't tried it yet, I keep at him to give it a go. He was worried about the same thing (men! They don't think about what we have to go through in all this!) sometimes I think a few needles where it hurts would be good for them! But acupuncture doesn't work like that, there are all different points on the body that relate to other things along the chanels. Points are mostly on hands, legs, feet, stomach and head. It's facinating really, I'm seriously hooked and even thinking of studying it next year. I think I'm just going to make him go! You guys should definitely try it.

    Thanks Juniper xxx

FWIW, I've subtly hinted at acu for my DH, but when I told my acu I was trying to talk him into it she said that acu wasn't something you talked someone into - they are either ready to try it or they aren't. Of course, you can still encourage them to be ready to try it.

I've got a friend on another website who was told IVF was their only option. Her DH tried acu and menevit and his s/a results improved so much they tried an IUI while they saved up for IVF. That first IUI worked and they now have a beautiful little boy! It doesn't work for everyone, but it certainly worked for them, so I figure it can't hurt to try!

Juniper - You have a very good point. I don't think acupuncture would work if you didn't believe it. But I'll keep trying anyway

    Thanks tantee xxx
I have just shut myself in my room, watching chick flicks and getting it all cried out. I am just racking my brain trying to figure out a way that we can afford to try again, I don't want a break, I don't want to wait! I just want someone to flick to the back of this story and tell me how it ends!
