Hey girls just a really really quick one from me my bfp might be a false positive due to the pessaries stupid me as the progesterone may have hcg the admin said at FS's clinic so getting bloods today then monday aargh soo gutted now

Miss K - QFG told me during the 'nurses talk' "no matter how tempted you are - DO NOT get a HPT. The medication you are on will give a false reading". But - like you - I will probably be tempted anyway!! I'm that it wasn't a false one for you!! We must think positive!! Yes, I am really excited - I found out today I'll be admitted at 10:00am for a 12:00 EPU... I've never been under a general before either, so (between you and me) I'm a little scared too!! Monday is a lucky day for you and me!!
JBM - Never worry about the addiction, i think we all have it to this thread!! It's just comforting to know that there are other people out there going through the same thing - I think that coming on here helps our sanity!!

AFM - I went back to FS today to confirm everything was on course form Monday. He did a final scan and saw there was next to no room left in my womb - so he said that that was a positive sign!! I also picked up my trigger shot - which I have to take tomorrow night at 10:30pm. At least there won't be anymore nasal spray and jabs!!
I'm getting a little nervous (as well as REALLY excited) because this is my first time and I'm not too sure what to expect...
AFM - BT confirmed BFP so my scan will be Mon 15th Jan till then thankyou girls for helping me through this cycle!! I am still going to be in here for a while though xxoo

All the best for your pickup mum2b! Basically they knock you out and when you wake up they tell you how many they got, and once you're on your feet you go home. Nothing to it! Well.... aside from the anxious anticipation of course. Hopefully the GA doesn't mess with you too much. Just take it easy - some people get sick.
It's the wierdest thing to just lose a chunk of your life like that - that's what it feels like to me. Not a fan, but luckily I recover very quickly from it.

M2B - Good luck for monday, it really is fine, they use quite a light GA, so it's not like having a big op. I get really sick with a normal GA but this one i can deal with and not feel too bad (by that i mean i don't get physically sick).

AFM- Still can't stop crying. I have 14 people coming around for dinner tomorrow night and my 12 week pregnant and just announced it friend rang me to say (leaving a message because I didn't want to speak to her) that if I wanted to cancel I could. I want to but of course I won't. I am starting injections tomorrow for my stim but have no interest whatsoever as I feel like I am just throwing money away. Hope I feel better tomorrow.
Lairdoz, your friend sounds very kind to think of you. Just do what you need to, ok? Sometimes you just need to step back and let the people around you pick up the slack.

marcellus, yes, this will be my first lap. I asked me old FS a year ago whether we should do it and he dismissed it (turns out he doesn't do them). I just wish now I'd pushed harder back then...
OK so i caved and just did a HPT, there was a faint positive line, but it was there. I have never seen it before, but not getting too excited as last time had a chem preg. I am 8DPT which i know can be too early. God what have i done, i think i just made my anxiety levels worse
Last night at home, I did a long message and then it didnt go through so this is just a shorter one sorry as Im at work.

AFM ~ Another turn of events - yesterday I decided to do another POAS expecting it to be BFN or close too but in fact it was the opposite, darker than the other ones I did last weekend. So I still have no idea and back to hoping and stressing. Trying so hard not to get too excited.

Sammie in TWW forum said earlier I could be having an ectopic pregnancy. Im pretty concerned now actually as I was just reading about them and the signs seem right and Sammie has had them and the symptoms sound exactly the same. Also i was reading that if suspected you should speak to specialist or DR as soon as poss because of risk of rupture I guess. But its a Sat and my nurse is also on leave next wk Not sure what to do.
Renee - that is excellent news! it gets darker and darker!! - I'm hoping that neither of us get sick (DH is getting a TESA done) and its just a wonderfully memorable occassion!!

Loops 12 - I'm not sure what to say, as I've never been through it before - but if your worried, go to a doctor or the hospital tomorrow - health is one thing we shouldn't be tardy with ... that everything is ok.

AFM - I'm waiting up till 10:30 (QLD time!!) for my trigger shot!! So what else would one do but check BB!! I had my last nasal spray and FHS injection this morning - so no more having to remember taking them!! Otherwise, all is well!!

I did another POAS this morning and it pretty much came up positive straight away and darker than one before.
All im getting now is a watery mucous, with tiny bit of pink. Just have to wait until BT i guess on Wed, maybe earlier if I get too worried. I was reading too that it wont show up in a scan before 5 weeks anyway so hopefully if it is ectopic they get onto it quick.
Loops, I'm still hoping this is good news or if an ectopic that they catch it early. Will be thinking of you.

Sorry but I've been absolute crap at personals atm and today is no exception but I'm here for a little vent. We had DH's nephew's 21st last night and being a typical Samoan family and quite church-orientated, there was a short service at the beginning of the party with church elders talking. One of these elders starts going on about how if a man is a good man, then he will be blessed with a wife whose vine will bear him many fruit (as in give him heaps of kids). Ugh, both DH and I were so offended, we aren't bad people so were quite put out. AND THEN, my charming MIL (a woman with 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildrem might I add) proceeds to tell me that she feels our pain as much as we do but we need to deal with our disappointment so that SHE doesn't have to walk on eggshells around us ? In other words, in my mind, we should just get over it and its no big deal. GRRRRRRR - vent over
mum2b: yes BB helps us to stay sane. hope trigger goes well and EPU. just make sure to take time afterwards, i went out and did heaps and then i felt so exhausted afterwards. yeah it was ok. i had no pain at all. good luck
