So my little embies aren't doing so well :-( the scientist said she has spoken to my FS and we are going to have a transfer tomorrow as we may only get the one unless they perk up a bit. It has just reminded me that in 24hrs things can turn bad :-(((

Oh, Ker so sorry to hear that. We will all be praying that things go well tomorrow. They can still be ok at day 3 and there are a few girls on here who got the call to come in earlier than day 5 and got their BFP's. We are all here if you need us

Kerbear, chin up honey and in times like these, try to remember that it only takes one embie and the absolute best place for the little one/s is to be inside the uterus. GL for tomorrow hunni

Kerbear - BIG I'll be thinking about you tomorrow, seems like we have definitive days at the same time. I have my u/sound tomorrow which will determine cancelled cycle or not. Lets be positive and all will go well for us both! xox

Thanks everyone, you are right it only takes one, just hope there is still a good one tomorrow. It gives me more hope to see how many of you have had early transfers and have been lucky with bfp's, I was just hoping to have some to freeze as DH is dead against me going through these drugs again and I know it is going to take some convincing in a couple of months for him to let us go through it again, i figured if I had some on ice then we didn't need to cross that bridge yet. I am being positive though and trying not to think about it, I am going to have a few days off work and give it a good chance as I don't have meetings till the end of the week.

Good Luck Mia with your scan tomorrow I hope it is all good and you can continue your cycle.

Hope everyone is doing ok I have so lost track of everyone as I have been a bit self absorbed but I have been reading everyone's posts.

Hope jabbing, sniffing, waiting, embies and all other things are going well for eveyone.

    hi everyone.
been seretec testing since yesterday, getting ready for a FET this week (hopefully). just wondering - have you had any issue with seretec tests? i have tested positive on sat & sun, and had BT's both days but results do not show a surge. they usually work for me, not sure if anyone has had this happen? i am scheduled for yet another BT tomoz, with a scan on tues as well.

goodluck to everyone with their scans & appts this week.

    Hi All,

Kerbear... what can I say. I am so sorry but I'm crossing everything that you will have a beautiful day 3 embie to transfer and at least another one to freeze.

Vic- Thank you for your wishes for tomorrow.

AFM- I have to say I'm dreading it all a bit. Not the transfer, but what comes after it. Like DH said tonight when I said I wasn't feeling confident, "Well, that's understandable. If you'd played six games of football and lost all of them, you'd most likely turn up to your seventh expecting to lose again." Ummm, ok...?! Bless him. I guess that's what I get for marrying a jock! Oh and in a bit of karma, after I complained this morning of feeling a bit feverish and unwell (progesterone makes me crampy and nauseated and the prednisone makes me agitated) and saying I didn't want to go to work, DH offered, "At least it wil be air conditioned at work." WTF! When I got home tonight, guess who's camped on the couch with the bucket and a cold washer!? I must say I have struggled to muster much sympathy. And DTD is off the agenda too. Oh well.

    Hi Andie,

I find those things a bit hit and miss. Try testing am and pm but as long as you are having blood tests don't worry too much. If they have a baseline they will be able to detect when you surge. I prefer it that way myself- much more scientific.

Meg sorry you are feeling so yuk from it all. Men and their way of thinking is so different to ours and sometimes not sympathetic lol.

Just wondering something, everyone talks about dtd before transfer, my clinic suggested it after but didn't mention before, does anyone have any advice, I am scared I will do something to jeopardize it.

thanks meg. i prefer the BT's too, at least you know for sure. although i am running out of arms to alternate with...! i know its not funny as such, but i did have a little smile re: your dh's football analogy - at least they try, and he is kind of right! goodluck for your transfer today, sounds like you have a relaxing day lined up afterwards.

kerbear - i think dtd before transfer is one of those 'is day 2 better than day 5 transfer' questions - everyone (and every FS) has a different opinion. i think if you are coming off a stim cycle they advise against, just in case you are still a bit sore post epu, or if ovaries are still a bit swollen there is a slight risk of rupture. but if its a FET i think thats where opinions differ, some say helps implantation but i dont think theres any research to prove that. and of course, there is the risk of multiples if you happen to get pregnant the natural way, as well as your transferred embryo taking. im glad you asked that question though, bc i was thinking of trying naturally before my FET this week too, but wasnt sure... would love to hear if anyone else has any more info. goodluck with whatever you decide!

    morning to everyone else.

Hey girls good luck to you all!!

Kerbear re DTD --- if you are doing a stim cycle then your DH has to provide a sample on the day of transfer and isn't allowed to between trigger & EPU but after EPU is fine!!! Tbh though. I have never felt up to it! I'm too sore and sorry for myself after EPU. But. If you can then. Maybe it's worth a shot!!!
Good luck Today my sweet!! xxx
