Congrats Kashby on being PUPO!! Welcome to the mad house that is the TWW. Ugh! Get plenty of rest in the next few days.
Keta - Good luck with your scan on Wednesday. FX that is a good outcome.
Will be back later for more persies. At work xxx

Hay ladies, I'm hoping I can join in here, I am hanging out in a few other forums but think this is where I should be. My last cycle was a failed IUI so I'm taking this months off but will meet with the FS on the 19 Mar to arrange our first IVF and am so so scared but also feeling a little excited.
Rhi- congrats hun, I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy.

Welcome Mrs Mac. There are lots of lovely ladies in here doing all kinds of assisted conception, so its a great place for any info that you need. Let me know if you want me to add you to the list :)
-
:welcome: Mrs Mac Dont be scared, this is my first IVF round and seriously after the 6 weeks tomorrow I have my ET and am happy I did it and would do it again (although I hope I dont have to LOL)
GL on your journey ;)
Vic - have you been tempted to POAS? Im going to go nuts in the TWW I can just see it LOL
-
Hey ladies,
Sorry I have been mia for the last week, have been super busy at work!
FS appointment went really well, all tests for both Dh and I came back clear so he booked me in for a lap in March, hopefully we have some answers from that!
Good luck to those in the tww I'll endeavour to keep up from now on :)
-
Welcome Mrs Mac! Don't be scared of IVF. It's not too bad :)
I'm beginning think I have not ovulated this month. CD35 and no sign of AF. *sigh*
-
Happy birthday keta, enjoy it babe.
-
Happy Birthday Keta !!
N2L - Have you been using OPK's this month? My clinic say its not unusual to not ovulate after stim cycles.
Strawberry - Great news about your tests coming back good. Good luck with lap.
TTL - Thanks for your info on growing out your embies. We will definately consider it next time. Seems a shame to waste them but really need to know if our embies are of good quality. I get good number, good fertilisation rates, but have not had a chance to grow them out. First stim was day 3 (4 our of 4 survived and were frozen) then day 2 (7 survived, 2 put back in, 5 frozen). My clinic said its become a more common practice now to thaw them and grow them out. I know the best place is the womb, but if none of our survive to blasti, then it could be a quality issue, since no one can tell me why I cant get pg apart from I am 41. My AMH is 15.8.
Mia - I have not been tempted, but its starting to pop up in my mind. BT due Monday, but may ring and get it done Sat morning since DH goes away for work Monday morning and cant bear for a BFN if he is not here all week. Am too scared to POAS. Hate that damn negative stick. Although, last time I did it on a Sunday and cried all day, but the BT was almost a non event on the Monday.
AFM - Am still ticking along. I feel like we have done all the right things this round. It was our first fresh transfer, I took a week off work to recover and have had no stress. DH was with me for transfer and I have been really into savoury foods and normally I am a sweet tooth. The BB are sore. Nipples are really sensitive. I have had twinges/cramps off and on. Sore lower back. I am still putting it down to the meds though. Dont want to get my hopes up.
-
happy birthday keta! hope you get spoiled at some stage today. :confetti:
thirdtimelucky - hi and congrats to you! can i ask you, when your surplus embie got refrozen at day 5, did your clinic give you any info on how they expected that one would go being re-thawed? i am in a similar situation to what you were in that i have thawed 3, day 2 embies out to try for blasts. FS was thinking we would get 1 (if lucky), but we might actually end up with all 3. just not sure about refreezing/rethawing and how the embies hold up after that?
mia - in my experience the ET doesnt hurt as such, sometimes it can be a bit uncomfortable (like that scrapping when you have pap smear). i am small, so i never get through 600ml of water (prob half that), but just drink what your bladder feels comfortable holding! i drank too much for one ET and was in agony bc the FS was late. after ET is done, you're up and out of there - no mess, no fuss. i usually go and have lunch somewhere and try to relax. not always successfully! goodluck.
hi everyone else.
afm - got a text from clinic, transfer scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. apparently lab havent updated embie's status recently, but all 3 thawed and are still going. guess i will find out more tomorrow. good news is that i can grow day 5's, i really hope they are stickier than my day 2/3's...!
-
Andie - Well done on your frosties growing out to blastis. Its almost like another test lol. I too am interested in the thawing of an already frozen and thawed emby and how it will go. Good luck with transfer tomorrow and for joining the TWW madness :)
Good luck to you too Mia for tomorrow. Its very exciting !!!
-
Good luck for tomorrow Andie :bluedust::pink-babydust:
Vic - I really hope this is it for you hun, when are you testing?
-
My BT is on Monday, but I may request one on Saturday. Not too sure if I have the guts to POAS.
-
Mrs Mac - welcome :)
Mia and Andie - go for tomorrow!
Keta - happy birthday :)
Strawberry - glad went well with FS
No dramas for me :) Thinking of y'all.
-
Hey there everyone!
Keta - :happybirthday:I hope you have had a great day:)
Mrs Mac - Welcome! I was rather scared too when I found out we had to go through IVF, but I found that the ladies in here, have, in one form or another been really comforting. By sharing their tips and thoughts/emotions. It helps when you know there are others experiencing the same things as you:)
Andie & Mia - Good luck tomorrow for ET. I will hopefully see you later next week in the 2ww! oh & Andie to answer your question from yesterday the intralipid was because I have elevated NK cells I also have to take dexamethasone because of them as well. (not to mention a heap of other stuff:rolleyes:) lol the things we have to do!
Strawberry - Good to hear your tests came back good, all the best with the lap.
Vic - I have my fingers & toes crossed for you :D
Hi to everyone else!
AFM - Well I have just had my trigger shots, not as bad as I was expecting. I have EPU Thursday so now I suppose I just have to wait.... I do however have to have something done by FS tomorrow due to my lining not being thick enough?? He did explain when he rang but I was at work(too many eavesdroppers:)) so he said he would fill me in tomorrow.
Have a great night & good luck whereever you are at:)
-
Congrats Kashby on being PUPO!! I'll be there too soon ;)
Keta - Happy Belated Birthday! GL with your scan today :crossfingers:
Vic - props to you for being strong and not POAS, I hope I can get through the TWW without being tempted! GL for Sat or Monday (when you have your BT)
Strawberry - all the best for your lap :goodluck:
Andie - hope today goes well for you and YAY for being PUPO together!
Planet Sasha - thanks  I'll def see you in the TWW soon!
:hello: to anyone else I've missed
AFM - trying to keep calm and relaxed, have my appointment at 12:40 so will be PUPO after then. My DH keeps saying our little embie is ready to come back in its pouch awwww LOL
 it all goes well and here's to relaxing and taking it eeeeasy for the next couple of days. Let the scoping for symptoms begin! :loveshower:

Hi girls
Today did not go well. I have so many follicles someone doing ivf would be jealous. I have just taken my trigger and they will all go to waste. Ivf has been recommended but Dh is refusing. So I will now out of the ttc game for now. The fs may let us go as we have been for two more cycles but by the sounds of things it would be a waste of money, time and emotions. I am devistated to say the least but I can't force Dh to agree. I wish you all the luck in the world an hope that you all get your bfp you so deserve. At 26 I guess I have to accept it will not happen for me. I thank you all so so much for your support.
Best wishes
Keta

Keta!! This just sucks! I'm so sorry! look after yourself xxx
-
Keta - oh how devastating for you. But remember you are young and miracles do happen - who knows what the future may hold. If it is not to be, may you be blessed in many other ways. Biggest hug, K.
-
So sorry keta I know that must be upsetting for you.
Take care and look after you xo
-
Keta. sooooo sorry hun im devastated for u aswell :(
-
Hi all, just a quick one epu went well 6 eggs:) feeling pretty good! Will come back later on. xx
-
Hello well I am officially in here now after stalking for a few months. I just made my next fs appointment and I nearly lost it over the phone... Maybe I am hormonal but I felt myself tearing up trying to have a conversation with the receptionists... She wanted to know all this stuff and it took me a few minutes for her to understand I am a current patient and yes I have a referral. She then said my DH has to come too... News to me. It's almost impossible to arrange him to have a day off to just go in for no action iykwim.... Far out.
Sorry for the me post it's a huge emotional barrier I had set for myself to do ivf and I am struggling :(
-
Joeve hunni, IVF is the best thing I have done. I dont have my BFP yet, but feel positive that I am actually a step closer to my goal. The emotional rollercoaster of IVF is far harder than the jabs, snorts, scans and BT. They make me feel in control, when I felt so out of contol for so long. MY DH had to come to the appt too and he had to take the day off work and fly over with me. I am just thankful I guess that IVF is an option for me.
We will all be here to answer questions and hold your hand through each step. It wont be daunting as you think. Just take it each step of the way.
Keta - I am so sorry about your news. Take care of yourself and your relationship. We will always be here if you need to rant, even if your not TTC. Who knows what a couple of years can do? Maybe he will reassess the situation.
Mia & Andie - Great news on being PUPO. Will update the list :)
Planetsasha - Great numbers hun! Well done. Rest up and FX they all have fertilised and are doing their thing :) Are you aiming for blastis?
Hi everyone else :)
AFM - Starting to doubt this is working. Guess I dont want to get my hopes up. DH said bye to my belly and rubbed it this morning on his way to work and I nearly burst into tears. It just reminds me that its on his mind too. He says either way it will be ok, and I said no it wont. One way will be crap! We have been down that road before. Not long to go now. I am really dreading the BT.

Thinking of you all ladies, and as always wishing you every success xox
-
No Vic... Still waiting ... Feeling very overwhelmed today and just burst into tears when my personal trainer said it'll be okay - it'll happen. So now I'm feeling stupid too. Just wish my body would do what it's supposed to. Hate myself right now :(
(sorry girls - I think I'm just really tired and over it)
On the plus side- had a really good workout at the gym...
-
Keta - Sorry to hear your news:hug:I hope things change for you in the future!
Joeve - Hi (welcome) IVF is the most positive thing I have done so far, it's a little daunting at first but it does seem to go really quickly & you do at least feel you are doing something active:) whether you are successful or not at least you will know you have tried.
Mia & Andie - Congrats again on being PUPO I hope your 2ww flies by for you with positive results!!
Vic - Fingers crossed for the BT, my FS wanted us to go for blastis so here's hoping all works ok. He is trying to thicken my lining a bit more before transfer as well.
Hi everyone else!
AFM - Feeling rather good at the moment, about to sit down with DH & watch some TV:)
-
:hello: ladies
How's everyone?
PlanetSasha - hows it going?
AFM - in the TWW day 2 still no "real" symptoms, had a sore throat this morning, slight nausea (but had this prior to the ET due to the crinone), sorry if TMI but my bowels are moving extremely well and usually I dont go for 2-3 days I've been EVERY morning. Apart from that not much to tell just chillaxing along and stalking :)
Wishing all you ladies :loveshower:

Hi Girls
Not too sure whats happening with me. AF was due yesterday going by my EPU being Thursday 2 weeks ago. Is that right? My nurse seems to think so. I had day 2 transfer on the Saturday morning. Still no AF in sight, however have had symptoms and my sister says she felt the same with each of her pg. For those of you who have got their BFP's did you get AF symptoms but it just didn't arrive? And for those who got their BFN's did AF show up after BT naturally? And how long after? I am pretty confused by it all and a little bit hopeful since AF is not here. I have my BT tomorrow and she said it could still be negative and if AF doesn't show up by Monday to have another BT. I am still debating whether to POAS this afternoon or enjoy the bliss of being PUPO for one more day.
How is the TWW treating you Mia? It definately feels like forever doesn't it?
Sorry myturn thats its just not happening for you. I definately can relate to your body just not behaving itself and doing your head in.
Hi Andie, N2L planetsasha and everyone else.
-
Hi Ladies!
Vic - I hope that this is it for you :crossfingers:
Mia - It looks I will be joining the 2ww as of Tuesday:)
Hi everyone else!
My nurse just rang to say that 5 of the eggs had fertilised:dance: so fingers crossed they carry along well until Tuesday! I start my Clexane injections tonight...not really looking forward to those, as I have heard they can be a little painful:(
I hope you all have a great weekend!
:pink-babydust::bluedust:
-
Planetsasha - I hope this is it for me too lol. And for everyone in here .
Great news that 5 fertilised. FX for Tuesday.
-
Vic - what a horrid day. Can't help AT ALL with the AF query. On the other issue, I vote for POAS this arvo. If it is BFP then you can go smiling to your blood test tomorrow. If BFN you will still have a crap weekend but you won't spend all day tomorrow on edge waiting for the result....you can just tuck up and be sad...... Will be stalking ;) K
PlanetSasha - Congrats, how wonderful they fertilised so well. See you in the 2ww next week.
-
Vic, I have a good feeling for you sweetie!! If I were you I would POAS, but then I hate waiting for the phone call!! To answer your question, I usually get AF a couple of days after BT.
Congrats Sasha on good fert rates!!
Hi to everyone else :)
AFM - still no AF *sigh* I am beginning to think the spotting a week ago may have been ovulation :dunno:
-
*sneaking in*
Vic, best of luck with the BT tomorrow! I felt like AF was coming from about 12 days after EPU until well after I got my BFP 18 days after EPU. FX for you!
*sneaking out again*
