I have left laptop at work so I can't do Persies tonight and feel so slack cause I have been a bit quiet but I have been diligently checking on you all multiple times a day just haven't been up to writing much....sorry.

For the ones of you feeling really sick and sore I hope you feel better soon and getting looked after well by your partners.

Ladies in the tww that check in here I am thinking if you all and hope you all have sticky embies on board, so cant wait to see another bfp in here, every one gives you a little more hope it might happen to you. I can agree with all your comments that the tww is the worst and to make it harder all the side effects seem to catch up on you by then and start messing with your head. I have resided myself to the fact that things my body does mean nothing in trying to figure out if I am pregnant or not.

Hope AF arrives soon for anyone waiting to start a new cycle.

Myturn-sook away, I blame everything on the drugs lol

Afm - I am cd5 today, scan tomorrow to see if the huge increase in gonalf at the start will make more follicles and help them grow better. All I know us I am feeling very bloated and crampy especially today. For some reason though this time every injection is hurting and I don't know why.
My boss was great today and has allocated all my NSW clients to another account manager so I don't have to fly and said to look after myself and what we are doing as number one. I started crying on the phone and said I am scared of it affecting my job and she said it is fine and that she is going to take me and DH out for dinner when she is up next week and I can get it all off my chest then. It's hard when your boss is also the CEO, but she us a very honest caring person. So needless to say I feel better.
I have been emotional this time as failure scares me and I am also trying to not hope for anything in case I am never able to be a mother. DH told me I was snappy today but he can deal with it cause he loves me....it was so cute.
The doctor worked out dates when we started this cycle and EPU should be 14th all going to plan, which means we would conceive on valentines. Now that's a story...we conceived you on valentines day in a petri dish :rolf :-)

Hope you have all had a great weekend and a good monday do

    f-ing hilarious!!!!

on the other hand... I'm half expecting AF to arrive on valentines day, so it could be depressing down here.....

Now, I've popped in to spread some and

Did I tell you I miss this thread???? I miss you all, but I'm keeping more in the background & checking all your progress. Feeling a bit homeless...

Miss B - haven't you found your bellybelly thread yet??? surely there's one set up (or about to be) for your estimated due date???

Kerbear - I look at the tampon asile often in the TWW, and figure it's not worth buying more cause I won't need them soon... lol... FX!!!

Meg - I agree! with the failed IVF cycle, I kept feeling - it's basically a really early miscarriage, and while the feelings are (I suspect) different, there are similarities too... the grief is raw, and the guilt, shame and embarrassment about the whole this is all empowering - PLUS you have all the hormones making it worse than a usual TWW.... people don't get that... but anyway... that's for the tww thread Sounds like you've had a rough journey! totally sucky!

Missren - totally get the visual of you parading naked in front of the dr...... .... I was so excited to cover myself up at Embryo transfer...... only to find the sheet had a hole in the middle.... weird....

vic - glad to hear you're getting on the wagon nice and quickly - hope the drugs treat you okay dunno about the flying - but it might be nice to have the week to relax and just let it implant??? maybe ask the dr and see what he/she says??? The nurse made a point to me last time... "if it's gunna stick, it'll stick, regardless of what you do really..." obviously that's not to say do whatever you want.... but... for the most part... what we do probably doesn't make much difference...

amy - hope you are starting to feel better lovely ... theoretically these symptoms are supposedly similar to preg.... so I guess we'd better get used to them... anybody whose got a bfp can confirm or deny?... once you finish the drugs do the symptoms go away? or do they just continue cause you're preg anyway????

Mia - yay for AF!! -- weird to say that... but....

Saffy and Kimbe - I hope your triggers went okay - GL for EPU xxx

planet sasha - did anyone answer your killer cell question???? if not.... just reminding everyone you asked it

ooh... I see there are a couple of BT's due this week FX all goes well...!!! good luck ladies...

AFM.... well... just waiting.... will put my tww stuff in the other thread.... but... tbh.... slowly driving myself crazy....

    ....11 days to go...

Just a quick one girls. Good luck Saffy & Kimbe for your EPU's. Praying its good numbers and its all good to go ahead for transfer.

myturn, sounds like your doing it tough in the TWW. It drives me mental too. Ugh!! I hope its the last one you will have to endure Thanks for your advice on flying. Think I may fly home between EPU & transfer. I just want my own bed and its only a 45 minute flight. Last time I was so sore, I just wanted my own bed, but we drove over and it was a 7 hour drive home. This time we are going to fly. It will mean catching buses, but I dont care. Adelaide is great for transport. The bus stops right outside airport, caravan park and hospital (and shopping centre). Think I will be too sore though.

Miss B, I hope you find a home soon. Enjoy your new thread, when it pops up. Am sure you will be a great support to everyone. x

Kerbear, its great that you have an understanding boss. It is hard to juggle all of this, without every man and his dog knowing. I too have a great boss and she is also very understanding. She says to take whatever time I need. Lucky I have 16 weeks long service leave accrude which I was hoping to use after I give birth, but if I cant get pg, may as well use it up trying. It would be a great story to conceive on Valentines day. Great pressie from DH too

AFM - 1st Gonal F last night. Hurt a bit, and bled just a little. I must be out of practice I cant believe that I was doing all of this in October and it feels like yesterday but at the sametime it feels like forever ago. IVF is like a weird time warp. Its like a vortex that sucks you in. Just one more month....just one more month...

Hi girls- thanks for the good wishes, 4 eggs for me, really disappointed by this but I have to look to the future and get on with it.
So transfer is booked in for Thursday!
EPU went well except they said I bled a bit but ok now.
Will ring tomorrow for fertilisation rate, I will be petrified, I hope its ok, I dont' want to do another stim cycle ( neither does my bank balance)

Hope your EPU went well Kimbe and good luck to everyone else, can't believe i will be PUPO in two days!

Thanks everyone for the positive well wishes...just a short selfish one tonight.

Am feeling really tight and horrible, EPU was fine but lots of bleeding and a large clot dislodged in recovery, but i know that's due to DD post-birth complications so should have expected it I guess. It was just a little frightening to see given how good i was feeling. Got 10 eggies which i am stoked about and DH survived his second TESA and they appear to have secured enough wrigglers from him. Will know Fert numbers via SMS tomorrow as well as ET date, though am suspecting it'll be a 5 day blast.

Off to bed for me with some panadol...hope you are all well. Thinking of you especially Saffy, it's been a big day
    xx

Just quickly for me, had scan and we are doing better this time with follicle size and numbers, we have 11 but FS thinks 2 are leftover from last time but all similar sizes. Looks like EPU will be next wed, yay we are going ahead with full cycle this time woohoo.

Hope you all had a good day :-)

glad to hear the scan went well kerbear and things are looking good and yay for a likely EPU date

oh Kimbe - that sounds crappy!!! Hope you are resting up and feel better tomorrow xxx

sorry you're pick up wasn't what you had hoped for Saffy - FX fertilisation is good and they grow nicely xxx

I feel better today Vic - thanks for your support - I think you have a good plan - 7 hour drive would NOT be okay after EPU!!! maybe you could hire a car, instead of buses or taxis? it might be the same cost as getting a taxi to and from the airport, if you get a good deal?
