Just popping in to say hello and I hope you are all having a great weekend.
Tip for the day, I went to get something nice for V day to get DH in the "mood", what covers the little tummy roll developed by the puregon and jabbing I'm doing? A corsett!! :happyforyou: YAY! LOL
A day of rain hail and shine in my home town...hope you're all having a good one.
Mia - definitely wherever your FS instructed you but i have both rounds been in the belly, even if you're a skinny mini you ned to squeeze the small roll on the belly (but not too close to the belly button!). As for a V Day corsett, gr8 idea lol! ... no doubt DH adores you more now anyway, just rom watching you do the needles, i know my DH did, it definielty reached a new level of admiration and appreciation from him ;)
How's everyone else?? I feel i need to check out the TWW forum now, i haven't done that yet but there are so many in there on the list. Thinking of you all!! xx

How are you all going? Im at work today so have been checking in when I get a chance.
I'm just plodding along in my TWW. Blood test is on Wednesday and i'm getting very impatient!!! Have very sore boobs. The cramping in my tummy has eased off a bit now, smells are fine, I have been eating a lot more though.

Had EPU today, 8 eggs collected and will know Monday how many fertilised then when ET is. I am really uncomfortable and sore from today. I feel like I have bad period paid crossed with having to do a really big fluff. I read my post op stuff and it says it can be like this for up to a week - surely not this painful? Crickey if I am going to be like this for a week I'll need to take time off work. Oh & does anyone know why I need a blood test in 16 days even if I get my period - seems odd

The pain settles after a couple of days but there's still a little bit for a few more days after that - you'll be fine :)
The blood test is just in case there is an eptopic pregnancy which AF may hide. I thought it was weird too :) but it is kinda nice to get it tested for sure.
If AF does arrive it may be more painful than usual. I found it terrible! Was the worst period I've ever had! Here's hoping she doesn't do that to me again this week !!!
Rest up and make sure you are looked after.
Ps Vic - as of Saturday I'm at day 29 - if AF is gunna arrive it will be Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest I reckon.
Well today is the day we find out if these little follicles have picked up their act and we can continue with our ivf this month, cross fingers they have.

Ladies quick question, has anyone experienced stitch like pain but feels like from ur ovaries whilst jabbing? Ive had this stitch since yterday. Could it b follies forming??

Mia - it is probably just follies growing.
Yay finally walked out of FS clinic with a smile on my face, follicles are growing they are just slow ones do FS is happy to keep going, they are all similar in size which is good, we do have one stand out that a couple of mm bigger on the left. Another scan tomorrow but she thinks it will be EPU for Friday.
It's only the first step but at least if we can get to EPU it's one step further than last time.
Hi Mia, yes I get them and sometimes I get a burnt kind of feeling near my ovaries to, it seems to be when they grow bigger.

myturn - thanks for clarifying the pg test, it makes sense. Funny you mentioned AF b/c I was told this on my last cycle (the cancelled one) and AF was normal... hopefully I don't have to worry about that!

Hi Vic my EPU will be Friday this week 17th, yay I finally am getting to that stage, cross fingers for eggs.
Started cetrotide today got a nice little rash and lump near where it went, seems to be going slowly hope it's not an allergic reaction, nurse said if it does it again tomorrow they might change it.

Hi Ker - I have updated you on the list. It feels like everyone is in the TWW thread :) It will be us by the end of the week. YAY!! Well done on your follies growing. You must be relieved. I started my Cetrotide Saturday night and I find it quite painful. I bled a little Saturday & Monday night.

AFM - Has my US this morning and I have 16 follies all good size. She said I must feel real bloated. The clinic rang me at lunch and said I am a couple of days away and just have to wait for my E2 blood test to arrive tomorrow morning, then can confirm whether Thursday or Friday pick up. I am feeling huge and its just sort of come on this morning. I wasn't too bad yesterday. I want enough eggs to get to blasti stage, but not so many that they are not good quality if that makes sense :)
Hope you all had a good weekend. We went car shopping and continued to paint our home.

AFM - 7 out of 8 eggs were fertilised, so I am relieved. I was quietly crapping myself that the quality was going to be no good and we might only get one or two fertilised.... transfer on Thursday, so a day 5 t'fer. I was hoping for a day 3 t'fer but I am just happy to get this far.

Cetrotide stops me ovulating from what they told me, so I am now doing 2 jabs a day, gonalf to keep them growing and cetrotide to stop them popping till EPU.
