Kerbear - sorry to hear today is such a down-day. I understand what you mean about no hope then no disappointment. I will also take 450 Gonal F and Leuveris as well when I start injecting tomorrow. I think I will soon truly understand how you feel, until then I say biggest of big hugs, thinking of you, and GROW follies

Kimbe - Lots of good wishes for you Hope your injuries are healing and DH stays the beautiful carer he has been.

Saffy - PUPO!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!! Sorry the experience was not what it good have been but PUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little congrats....will look forward to giving you the big one

PlanetSasha - I am so pathetic I asked to do anything that DID NOT involve BT's and was happily told it was not a problem .......... never fear - your guys know what they are up to, BT or not. I find if I get distracted I dont even taste the Synarel anymore (have had it for 12 days now).

MissB - I hope you are enjoying the feeling of your little one beautifully growing. Am probably not allowed to say that here, but just wanted to

Blossom - big hug, no words to say

AmyJB - sorry husband away and you are missing him. Hope all your aches and pains have settled.

AFM: Scan tomorrow and start jabbing - a step I guess, but am expecting this not to work so one step closer to knowing. GL for tomorrow everyone with exciting events. K.

    Hi Girls,

    Just a super quick one...

Kerbear: I just wanted to say not to stress too much about the follies being a bit slow. I've had two stim cycles and the first two ultrasounds in each cycle didn't reveal much but by the third I had caught up. My first cycle I was on 150 micrograms of Gonal f and ended up with 8 eggs, all of which fertilised and ended up with 6 day 3 embryos. My second cycle I was on 225 micrograms and had 13 eggs, 10 of which fertilised and we ended up with 3 perfect hatching blasts at day 5. While none of these have resulted in a pregnancy this seems to be due to other issues (NK cell ad clotting issues) and not egg/embryo quality. So hang in there! Your body might just be taking it's time. xxx

    Janie: Good luck today!!!!!

Saffy: Hope you're feeling better today, Honey!

Also just wanted to share a quick story from yesterday. Had a girlfriend from interstate who knows what we have gone through announced her pregnancy to me via a picture message of her bump and an ultrasound pic... Where does that rate on the insensitivity scale?! Obviously I am happy for her but wow, seriously?? Going into yet another FET this month, I have been doing everything I can to stay positive and focused and that made me feel really sucky. I haven't responded. Not sure whether to be gracious, tell her how out of line she is, or do nothing at all. Thoughts??

    Love to all!

    M. x

Oh meg I personally given you a call to tell you knowing how hard it might be for you. Seeing things like that can be hard but then on the other side doing it that way means you can process it in you own time and way when they aren't on the other end of phone or in front of you. Hope you are ok hun I know how hard it is with 3 of my close friends announcing theirs lately,
Sending you a huge hug xo

Kashby, thanks so much sweetie for thinking of me. I am going well, hope you can join me soon! All the best with your jabs hun xoxoxox

Meg, all I can say in your friend's defense is that she has no idea what IVF involves and the emotions that go with it, let alone how a woman feels when she has to go through cycle after cycle with no success. I know I can't say I know what that's like, as I have been very lucky in that respect, but I know what all the drugs can do to your body and the emotions that come with it all. In all honesty, your friend probably thinks that you'll get pg straight away with no problems (of course we all all hoping for that) but the reality of it is that more often than not it doesn't work the first time. So she is very naive about it all. Big hugs sweetie xoxox

Vic, I haven't posted an update about my FS appointment on Tuesday but, in a nutshell, I am waiting for my next appointment on April 26 and I am trying to lose 10kg before then to go on a research/drug trial. I am cd17 today and waiting for ovulation.

    Janie CONGRATS!!!!!!
    Again just a recap of:
What amount of puregon (or other injectable) you were on?
What day embie you got transfered? How many did you get transfered?
Symptoms whilst you were waiting for your BFP??
Appreciate this cos I'm close to EC and ET and am hoping for the same result 1st time

    CONGRATULATIONS!

Meg - I would take the high road, some ppl are just insensitive but some dont realise how insensitive they're being cos they're SO happy.
I've been there many times and its SO disheartning but we have to all stick together and know that we wouldnt be like that to anyone especially having gone through all this

Ugh! I hear you on the whole weight issue. Its a never ending constant battle for me. I am finding it really hard with all the meds too. Its good that your ok with having a little break. Your really, really brave for continuing with it all, but I know how much the desire to have a child can push us, even when we feel like giving in. We are all here if you need us. Good luck with all your tests. Enjoy the break.

    Hi lovelies,

Janie - I said it in the other thread but I'll say it again. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Meg - I feel your pain love. I have a friend that is pregnant at the moment and has been sending me pics of her bump and updates. Whilst I am very happy for her it still hurts seeing it she has had 2 miscarriages previously so she hasnt had an easy road either and she is very supportive with our IVF journey but I still feel sad. When my best friend found out she was pregnant she rang me crying to tell me.

    xxx
