AFM - well.....the Synarel did absolutely nothing for me, but clear up my sinuses :clap: FS took me off synarel 3 days ago and i am now on Lucrin injections and Gonal F....go for BT and scan on wednesday and hope that something is happening in there!!
To any wonderful ladies that i have missed so sorry...however i still wish you ALL lots of success in your cycles! :pray:

Emerald Star!! Sniffing is fine no dramas here other than putting Handy Andy floor cleaner in the fridge at work and doing random things LOL!! How do they tell the synarel isn't working? I will be :pray: that you have some wonderful follies growing!!

Sorry no personals today as I am kind of FREAKING OUT....
Just had another scan and EPU is now set for Monday. I have about 15 good follicles all up that are all good size but my estrogen levels from yesterdays blood test was pretty low. That has always been an issue for me but Doc said that my blood results would normally indicate only 1 egg! but he finds that almost impossible to believe seeing as my scan shows so many good follicles.
Last time my levels were only about 100 higher and I got 7 eggs. But my 1st ever cycle I got none! Last time though, I had another 3 days of injections before EPU, this time only 1. I know that he is the Dr and obviously knows best but I can't help going over everything and completely stressing myself out! :wall:

BJ - let me remind you that I was told
me e-levels AND follie size indicated I'd be lucky to get 2 eggs... At EPU - I ended up with 8 eggs - only 1 immature! And now have ET tomorrow...

I know how f$&@:)@&g hard it is - but don't give up!!

Well I am back after my loss last month went and seen FS 13th and she started us on another IUI cycle straight away so back on the Puregon and Pregnyl also taking 2 Metformin tablets every day had first bt cd6 results show E2 only at 200 another bt cd9 (yesterday) should hopefully get the results from that tomorrow then see how things are going hoping all goes well this time round.
Sorry no personals will catch up on everyone when I have some more free time.

AFM ~ Sniffing away and AF arrived today. Bad hormonal migraines but that is normal for me, slightly moody too but apart from that not bad. Looks like everything is on track though at least. Start Puregon injections on Wed.

Just remember to keep up your fluids, and drink electrolytes. Too much water can also dilute your blood and cause probs of its own. Been there done that. :)

So I have just had my first every trigger injection (it was actually very ouchy!!)
My egg pickup is scheduled for Tuesday morning - I am so nervous but delighted that I don't have to sniff anymore Synarel :p- I hear you about not being able to sleep BJ.

AFM think I've shocked my body once again. I've had a regular AF all my life but when I started this journey things seem to have gone haywire. last month I got it twice day 28 and then 23 normally I'm day 28. Now I'm upto day 31 still not here. If its not here tomorrow I'll POAS even though 99% of me doesn't beleive us trying naturally has worked

Terry - Congrats on your weight loss, first of all! And FX that you have conceived naturally. That would be great news. We're also trying naturally for a couple of months due to Xmas and being on holidays. Have to get back into healthy living, exercising, seeing the acupuncturist, naturopath and personal trainer when we get back. Whew, sounds exhausting just listing everything let alone doing it :lol:

Murraycod - GL to you on your TWW. How many embies did you have transferred? I can't believe what the acupuncturist said to you. And I applaud you for telling him to take out the needles and simply walking out. Well done.

Hello to all the newcomers and anyone else I've missed!

Well I'm home and feeling pretty sore and sorry for myself....only got 4 eggs :shakehead: a pretty disappointing result for me seeing as I had so many nice big follicles. Find out tomorrow how many embryo's we get out of it. I'm not feeling too hopeful, but guess we'll wait and see. Really don't understand why my results are all so different??!! It doesn't make any sense.
Also just want to know if anyone else has had EPU under sedation instead of under general? It was horrible!! I think I was awake the whole time and felt pretty much everything they did, really uncomfortable and kind of painful but because I was half out of it plus had oxygen mask on and a drip in my arm I couldn't let anyone know that I could feel it. I could kind of hear what they were saying too and did not get a positive vibe which has me worried that none of my eggs were any good. Plus I have never gotten sick with general anesthetic but got home today and hugged the toilet bowl for a few hours. Not really impressed.
Sorry to ramble on....just needed to vent.

Clinic just called.....only 1 embryo. I am so gutted :crying:
Transfer will probably be tomorrow or thurs now as they don't want to risk trying to get it to go all the way to blastocyst. I just don't understand. Obviously my fears were right on, and if I was worried, why the hell wasn't my FS??

I am though, looking forward to starting a stim cycle again in April/May so focusing my good energy on tha so I don't get too emotional again on Friday with the "PhoneCall".
Can anyone tell me what AF is going to be like this month after a stim, will it be yucky anfd heavy?? The warning pains I have had for the past week are bad enough!!!

BJ, I'm so sorry to hear your EPU was such an ordeal and that your results have been disappointing. Please don't give up on that little emby yet. I know the odds are lower, but I've seen people succeed from less.

murraycod, I've generally found AF after a stim cycle is longer than normal. For me it usually starts a little slower than a normal AF (maybe a medium or light day first, rather than CD1 being heavy like it normally is). I also find that I normally O late (usually by a week) the following cycle, and then have a shorter-than-normal LP.

Afm, my FS is finally back from his holidays and I have an appointment tomorrow morning. Time to find out if he'll help me do something about all this AF pain. Thankfully this cycle has been less painful than recent ones (only 2 days of pain compared to the last few which have been 3 days).

Murraycod ~ Yeh i'm excited about starting Puregon - 1 step closer to my BFP! They have ^ my dose from 250iu to 300iu because last cycle I only got 6 eggs which was better than nothing but we didnt get any to freeze in the end. Here's hoping it helps!!
So sorry about the phone call - ive been there and its a pain when you already know the result. Im so glad you can do a cycle in April :D. Straight after my last cycle I had a light AF and then the following 2 were the bad ones but everyones different you'll get through it. I find the Nurofen Period Pain tablets work.

I'm so sorry BJ - I have everything crossed this little one is a fighter. I am all done with EPU, and besides being super sleepy and feeling lke someone drove a truck into my stomach I am fine. Not nearly as bad as I had expected.

murraycod, I've had it ever since puberty too and it has gotten progressively worse, especially over the last 2 years. I've reached a point now where I'm missing 3 days of work each month. I'm just lucky I have a very understanding employer who puts up with it...

BJ - Your EPU sounds horrible. All of mine have been done under a general. I didn't even know until recently that other clinics do them under sedation only. I see you're from the Gold Coast; I'm in Brisbane. I thought it was only the southern states that used sedation only but obviously not. I wonder whether anyone else from Brisbane has had sedation ... Keep your chin up. On the positive side, you know that you and your DH can fertilise an embryo and FX that it is a nice strong one :)

Sharee - Great news about your EPU. Nine eggs is a good result. Are you planning a 3-day or 5-day transfer?

Murraycod - Sorry, have I missed something? Did your cycle not work? Your ticker says you have 2 days to go till testing. I'm on holidays and my mind is not exactly working 100% so apologies ...

AFM still no AF did a POAS it was negative so I just think that my body is going through changes once again. Given it was so early last time it might be opposite this time. Anyway I was talking with DH and if it doesn't arrive by the weekend I'll go in and see my doctor

Brunette I do still have until Friday BT, but am not at all confident my cycle worked, but it's all good, I'm at peace with whatever result I get on Friday, but the AF pains started over a week ago, I think the Crinone pessaries are holding AF off!!
I was naughty naughty and POAS a few days ago too, which too made me feel quite depressed. I can promie everyone right now I wont to that again next time! :lol:
Those evil sticks just seem to complicate things, if I hadn't of POAS'd I would of prob handled things so much better.

Terry sorry you got a BFN testing too, it would be great, that if we weren't UTD, AF would just arrive on time and get it over and done with! I have heard that going through these stim cycles can muck our bodies up a bit, but I do hope you just tested early XXX

Juniper I know exactly how you feel, my AF has gotten more painfull over the years too. I had a laproscopy done when I was 18 and the Gyn in Ballarat told me that both of my fallopian tubes were completely retarded and I had so much scar tissue from when I had appendix out, it had grown around by bowel and ovareis.
So 3yrs ago DH and I discussed with my new Gyn in Mildura about having lap and getting my tubes removed to start IVF, when I had the Lap, Gyn told me both tubes were perfect, tiniest bit of scar tissue not enough to cause anything wrong, my ovaries were healthy...no endo...
So as you can imagine, 2 completely diff results, I dunno what to beleive! But I sure know the AF pain is awfull!!
And I'm still not preggo!

Hiya, running behind at work, so just a quick one to let you know how this morning went. First off, we got there 30 min late thanks to the traffic (hence me running behind at work). Fortunately it wasn't a problem. I decided to start by waiting to see what he said about last cycle. After taking some time to review my chart he came to the conclusion that he didn't know what to try next and suggested referring me to another Dr in the clinic. At that point I mentioned I was keen to look into the cause of my AF pain and he admitted that, while he could do the lap to determine if I have endo, he couldn't remove it if he found it and the Dr he was referring me to could do both. So, we stopped in at the other Dr's office on the way out and I couldn't believe our luck when the receptionist said she'd just had a cancellation and would I like to come in on Monday?! So, I'll let you know how Monday's appointment goes next week...

Well I got a call at 9am this morning letting me know that they decided that today would be best for my ET! So I was at work for a grand total of 5 mins and then left again. So I just had an apparantly perfect looking 4 cell 2 day embryo transfered and I am just trying my hardest to forget about everything else for now and just try to be positive for my little emby. BT on the 10th.....I guess I'm officially a 2ww now.

The nurse called and booked me in for egg tranfer tomorrow morning. Apparently I have to wait until tomorrow to find out how many of my nine eggs fertilised though :rolleyes:
