Marie - your friend situation sounds hard. I have days where I need to avoid pregnant friends, and I'd really struggle if they all were! I really doubt that anyone would be offended if you explained the situation. I don't think you should have to explain yourself to everyone, but you could talk to one or two friends that you are closer to and ask them to help you change the topic.
