Hi all,
Trueblue - Great news for you. Fantastic about there being no cyst. All is looking great.
Trishy - TWW can seem so long. Nice you feel so comfy here with your mighty eggs. lol
Kaybee - Thank you for your well wishes. Hope you get out of limbo one way or another soon.
Amy-Jellybean - The drugs haven't affected me that much that I have noticed. I am feeling more fragile today than I have the whole way thru and I am actually drug free for a few days. I understand your feelings in regards to your DH not being here. You are not entirely alone there is always BB and I found that keeping in mind why I am doing this certainly helps. My DH is flying out our BT day so if I need a cuddle or to celebrate he wont be here as normal. And I don't even know how to tell him about the result as I would have liked him to be with me when I got it. It is just another one of those things I guess when your a mining widow.
Mum2Be - Sorry to hear about your news. Know that we are thinking about you and am sending you ((((GBH))))
AFM - Well had my collection yesterday. I went under believing that they would probably get nothing ahich is what the FS said just before they put me under. At my age and all. Well when they woke me up they told me they got 3 lovely eggs. I cried I was that overjoyed.
So now I am waiting to see if they fertilised overnight. I know my little ones are fighters.
Hi lovely ladies
Aurion ~ Hi and :welcome:. All the best with your cycle. Hope you're not in here long - that we can chat in the pg threads :)
Wantaminime ~ Thanks hun, im glad others get just as annoyed as me when people say just relax. Excellent news that you got 3 great follies, well done  Im sure they are good quality and will be fighters. :crossfingers:
Saraz ~ Hope you are going well in TWW! GL.
Mindhugs ~ Hope you are well in TWW, :crossfingers: for a BFP!
Kass ~ Hi and hope you are doing well hun.
Trishy ~ thank you, will let you know if I find that money tree for sure! I hope you are doing well in TWW, FX'd for you too. I had a laugh about what ya said to the preggo lady at the lunch - good on ya, well done!
Kaybee ~ Thinking of you hun, I know how painful it all is -
Trueblue ~ So happy things are looking great this cycle! xo FX it continues hun xoxo
Terry ~ Sorry to hear about your DH, FX'd tight everything comes back clear.
Amy ~ Hi again, think ive seen you in another thread. Im excited for you for your 1st IVF cycle. I prefer to do the jabs myself, they dont really worry me and the only sideaffects I had were the occasional headache and a bit grumpy (from memory). GL hun!
Mum-2-be ~ So sorry hun, really feeling for you - :comfort: Glad you can look to the future hun. :crossfingers: everything will be ok with this little one though and that he or she is a fighter but maybe just a slow grower. xo
Hi Porche ~ GL with the pill popping etc!
Hi to anyone else ive missed - lots of babydust
AFM ~ nothing new, was trying not to think about TTC this month but its not really happening LOL. Ive kept track of where Im at when I said I wouldnt. I think im getting close to o'ing but still gunna just dtd as much as poss and try not to think about it all too much LOL.
Well after what started out as a positive has not continued quite so well.
Only 1 egg of the 3 fertilised. Transfer will be Sunday
Thinking positive thoughts or at least trying to. Only need one to work
Wantaminime ~ Sorry hun, I spose its hard to get all to fetilise but so true - all you need is the one to be a good one and it should stick! GL for you transfer hun, FX all goes well and you get your miracle.
Thanks for the wishes Loops.
Yes I only need a good one to stick. I am being greedy being disapointed only getting one. I should be grateful I have a shot with this little fighter.
Have a good weekend all
Just popping in briefly to say that the mc my FS warned me of is here. Will chat more tomorrow
Hi,
Hope you are all well. Have just joined this thread after my fourth failed IVF transfer. Got the news today, and am pretty devastated. Feels like the goal posts have just shifted again. But am determined to push my FS for additional testing before the next cycle. I have read about immunology testing on a few of the threads in the forums, which seems to be worthwhile given our 'unexplained infertility' and failure to implant with good quality embryos. Am also thinking of seeing another specialist to get a second opinion - we really like our FS, but am just wondering if we could be taking another approach......does anyone have any advice on this?
Wantaminime - so glad to hear you got one good embie! Good luck with the transfer on Sunday.
Trueblue - good luck for tomorrow!
Best wishes to everyone else!
Thank you so much for your warm welcomes everyone, it makes this part of life feel that bit more supported. :)
I've given myself two FSH jabs so far (still early days in the scheme of it all!) and got so cross at myself the first night because it seemed as though I hovered with the Puregon pen above my skin for 20min! Even DH began to get a bit cross with me and went off to play online games with his friends! But I did it, and survived (and surprisingly no bruises so far; but I know my chances of remaining unscathed at slim).
Back to work on Monday (I'm a Kindergarten teacher, ironically), hoping I can stay relatively stress-free in the workplace during July!
Hi lovelies,
Wantaminime - Ive got everything crossed for you love, fingers crossed this is you sticky one!!!
Kaybee - So sorry to hear about you M/C, we are all thinking of you x
AFM - The next 3 weeks feel like they are dragging already!!! Wish it was time to start already!!!
Wantaminime - Ive got fx'd this is the one
Kaybee - So sorry to hear about you M/C, your in my thoughts.
Amy-jellybean - it will come around before you know if but I understand wanting to start now.
Auriam - hope Monday is stress free
ATM I am not sure what to think, still feel crampy, just trying to hold out to the 19th.
Kaybee - I'm so sorry to hear that you have m/c. I've been thinking about your situation a lot over the last few days (as it is not that must different from mine). I was really hoping and praying for a miracle for you. If you need anything (talk, cuppa (if your in brissie!) etc) just let me know.
Kaybe: aw hun huge hugs we are all here for you chick in your time of need.
Hello to everyone hope everyone is doing well won;t go too much into persies feeling so tired.
Had insem today so now in the tww and just waiting now had a bit of an emotional day started out so great then we go to the clinic and they told us we were boarderline with the sperm sample num bers wise so poor dh hasn't taken it too well as to be expected am at a loss of how to make him feel better he's sort of given up hope on this round I am still hopeful but poor bugger was really upset just fx'd now and hope for the best
trueblue fx'd
Hi Ladies
TrueBlue - Big hug. I guess if the numbers were really bad they wouldn't have gone through wih the insem? Maybe you could try that approach?
AFM Last day of BCP so just haning around waiting for AF. Then we can get going with our injections etc..
hi everyone. hope you are all doing ok.big hugs kaybee.
the spotting i had for nearly a week a month or so ago came back two weeks ago when AF should have been due.have had two weeks of light spotting and then this morning i had some low pelvic pain so decided to get checked out at the local hospital.after asking about my cycles doing a preg test (BFN) and doing an internal he said i have pelvic inflammatory disease (yet again :@ ) and when i said would that be causing the spotting (never have had it with PID before) he said no, you are more than likely pre menopausal.WTF!!!!! im not even thirty two till next month.have had a big cry and now dont know what to think.going to ring up the natural fertility service at mater tomorrow to try organizing a new appointment asap
awww tru hugs chick my mum, nanna, and great grandmother all went through menopause by the time they were 35 so I really do have a biological clock... talk with your fs if you really are then you should be able to collect alot of eggs have them frozen and then you can still do ivf hug that would have been such a huge shock for you. Your not having a good run are you.
Thanks guys for the support i think dh is feeling a bit better about it today
Hi everyone,
Wanta - how did it all go today? Of course it would have been nice to have some frozen but that's only useful if this cycle doesn't work, and hey, this is THE ONE, isn't it?! FX for you
Trubabe - WTF! A friend of mine who was 39 was told she was peri-menopausal a few years ago so she went to a good naturopath and sorted her diet and things out and got pregnant a few months later - naturally - no IVF. So, it ain't over yet sister (Thanks for your hugs)
Trueblue - (thanks for your hugs too) hope things are happening in there. :stickyvibesboy: for you
Trishy - what a horrible wait - I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Crampy can be good. FX. Thank you for your thoughts
Mum-2-be - I know, it kind of feels like we're in this s*** together doesn't it. Hopefully we'll end up in the pg thread together very soon
Loops and EVERYONE else - thank you so much for your thoughts and kind words. It amazes me how much those simple words from strangers really help. I'll ring the clinic tomorrow and see what course of action I have to take. FS mentioned having a D&C, but last time in hospital they said not too and that it's best to leave it alone in there. Anyone have any opinion or advice either way??
Sorry, too hungry to do more persies, but I love reading all the stories and little successes in here. Best of luck for where you are all up to
