truebabe sorry I'm a bit out of it so may have misread what you wrote, was this a doctor at your clinic? If not I would speak to your FS first, plus I am pretty sure on the news not long ago there is a test that can predict when your menopause is likely to occur. I wouldnt accept what he said without a test, I think even without the test I am talking about there is a blood test to check hormone levels or something. My naturopath has had success with women who are premenopausel so dont take their word for granted. I have another friend who is single at the moment and her gyno has taken some lining or something to use as well. I will find out what she has had done and let you know. (((GBH's)))

Good Morning all,
You have all been very busy this weekend.
Kaybee - So sorry to hear of you M/C. Big hugs for you
EHM - Any type of testing is really personal choice. I saying that the decision should be made in consultation with your FS as they are the experts.
Trubabe - Speak to your FS. GP's don't specialise and unless they actually did particular testing they can only assume. Don't get too upset until you speak to someone who would actually know and testing has been done.
Trueblue - Men just don't like being told they are less than perfect. My DH was rather upset too when we were told that ICSI was the only way for as he doesn't like the cold. His fault for never being home.
AFM - Transfer went well yesterday with a top notch embryo. Shame about the teenage son who thinks it so much fun to stress his mother out. Lets hope I am successful in ignoring him. So this is it I am out of here for the next couple of weeks and heading over to the TWW. Will pop in and see how you are all going tho.

wnata: dh has felt all along that it is his fault we aren't pregnant and has been putting alot of pressure on himself so when the nurse told him that it cemented it in his head.. he has done everything right he stopped wearing jocks, started pumping menevit followed the nauropaths words to a t more than me there's really nothing more he could have done.
I'm a little crampy this time round, the trigger injection was also really painful and I almost vomited instantly I had to ask dh to run for a bucket.. was very odd as last rund everything was so painless and smooth maybe it's a good sign.
Goodluck everyone else hope to see more of you in the tww room soon and see lots of bfp's
-
Hi All,
Kaybee - Am really sorry to hear about your m/c (hugs).
Trueblue, Wantaminime & Trishy - good luck for your TWW! FX'd.
Truebabe - Sorry to hear you are having a rough time (hugs). I would definitely speak with the FS and get some more testing done.
Best wishes to everyone else, wherever you are at in your cycles.
AFM: Am starting a 3rd down reg IVF cycle. Took my first pill today, and feeling good about moving forward. DH and I do want to get a second opinion. Could anyone who knows of a good FS in inner city Melbourne let me know by PM? We are in Richmond. Recommendations are very welcome!

Hello Hello Ladies!
How are we all today?
Porsche: How are things travelling with you? Everything on track?
Loops: Anytime xox. Hope everything is going well with you!
I am lucky that I don't drink coffee lol, but poor hubby has done really well with it, I am proud of him. He didn't even have an alcoholic drink the other day when we had people over!
Have fun DTD ;)
Aurion: Hello and welcome!! The ladies in here are brilliant and very supportive and understanding, so you have come to the right place! GL with your IVF cycle! How are you finding it?
Want: Sending lots of positive thoughts your way! FX crossed for little embie to stick. Sending lots of Baby dust your way!
Saraz: Sending positve vibes your way that we hear of a BFP in less than 2 weeks!
It can be hard deciding who you want to tell. DH and I decided that we only wanted to tell immediate family and then as time went on we decided to tell extended family and friends but none of them know exactly when we are going through cycles and we explained to them that we want to deal with the positive/negative results ourselves prior to talking to others and if it means taking a few months, that is our choice and we will discuss when we are truly ready, everyone was pretty good about!
But it should be up to YOU BOTH only who to tell! You can get mixed reactions about IVF also, so if you are talking to people about it, remember to keep that in mind.
With my new job, I have organised unpaid leave and I have not discussed the IVF situation with my employer and I don't think I ever will..
Mindhugs: How are things going with you? Sending positive vibes your way!
Kass: How are things going with you?
Trishy: We made the decision to be strict and sometimes, it's hard (more so for DH) but we get there lol.
How are your latte's going?
Imagine having twins like Arnie and Danny lol. Well here's hoping for a BFP, FX and sticky vibes sent your way!! You can check out the 2ww but we hope to continue to see you around here.
People are rude aren't they. You weren't being *****y at all! Some people just don't get how hard it can be for some people to have babies and they also forget that is costs so much to go through each cycle.
Kaybee: You are not sounding bitter at all! We have to go through so much to fulfill our dreams and it can hurt so much seeing pregnant people but we put on a strong face and hold our heads up high around pregnant people, I understand what you mean about pregnant people feeling awkward around people going through IVF, it's like you are a creature from out of space!
I am so sorry about your m/c HUGE  thinking of you!
True: How are things going with you? Glad to hear there is NO cyst! Things are starting to look up for you by the sounds of it :), keeping my FX for you that this is the one!!
Terry: Hope things are going well for you! How are things with DH, hope his scan went well!
Amy: Hello and welcome! GL with your upcoming cycle, hoping you have a lucky 1st time round scenario. FX it all works out for you!
mum2be: So sorry to hear you U/S didn't go to well, hopefully things turn around for the better! Thinking of you!
ehm: Hello and welcome! Here's hoping you can get off the IVF rollercoaster soon! Hope everything works out for you!
Sorry if I have missed anyone!!
AFM: I flew to Brissy on the weekend and picked up the Synarel! Even though I don't start on it until the 28th August, I am so excited and like a giggly little school girl. I just can't believe it's only just over 6 weeks away! We are finally doing it and nothing is stopping us or getting in our way this time around!
We really are on the way to fulfilling our dreams.
Well take care ladies sending lots of :hug:

Hey everyone,
Just had some really bad news - DH has been really ill for a few years with terrible headaches and they have just done some more tests and today said they are pretty sure it is a brain tumour in his pituitary gland! He is only 27 poor boy. He hasnt had the MRI yet but they said pituitary gland creates all your hormones and his are totally skewiff so they are really surprised his sperm was ok for ivf and it might have been our last chance!! So this 2ww is even more nerve wracking (and those 2 frosties even more precious).
I am sooooo mega nervous now! I just cracked & booked in to the GP for friday to get my BT cos I can't wait until 19dp5dt when my clinic does it! Friday will be 16dp5dt so you'd think it'd be pretty accurate right? Also considering doing a HPT for the purpose of breaking my news to myself gradually.
sorry no personals & this prolly belongs in 2ww thread ... sorry but hope and pray everyone's dreams come true this cycle!!
-
Saraz: aw chick my heart just broke for you I hope that dh firstly is fine and hope it is not what they think it is and two hopefully this round works for you also if it is a tumour you can ask about having sperm collected and frozen I was reading a story the other day at the hosp waiting for u/s and this bloke found out he had cancer when he first got together with his wife so they collected a heap of sperm and had it frozen 17 years later they now have two healthy babies and they are his biological children but chin up and hope for the best keep us updated chick

Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in quite a while, but after an (seemingly) agonising 4 month wait I am back in the game and currently on day 6 of stims with a new FS and clinic. There are so many new names in here! So please forgive me whilst I get my head around who's who. I do remember a few of you but am also pleased to see many of the old names are no longer here and I am hoping that it is for good reason and that they are all UTD!
Saraz - I really hope that all is OK with DH and FX that this cycle is the one.
Baby dust to all, wherever you are in your cycle.

Hi all,
Saraz - wow - you've got some stuff to deal with there, it's a good thing you're so strong and such a trooper. I'm so sorry about your DH. I really can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. At least the 'business' part of this cycle is over so you can be there for him. God I hope this one works for you :crossfingers:. My clinic tests about 10 days after a 5 day transfer, which I think is the absolute earliest it can be done. I haven't asked them why. I guess doing it later must reduce the chance of getting an unclear result. Good on you for taking matters into your own hands and good luck
Tantee - hi - it must be weird coming back when everyone you know has moved on. Hi anyway - hopefully you'll meet them all in the pg threads very soon
Gotta go - fav show is starting

Hello lovely ladies,
I'm now officially back in here. Had u/s on Tuesday, there was no heartbeat. So had D&C yesterday. I guess that having that week to accept that it was not going to be a 'viable' pregnancy (you have to love the way FS puts it!) it made Tuesday and yesterday much easier. I'm now focusing on moving forward. Getting back into the TTC. Hopefully in late August my body will be on track to undergo another FET - except for this time it will be a viable pregnancy (positive thoughts!!). So, here I am ~ just waiting for my body to return to normal...
There are a few familiar faces (names!!) so hello!!
Aurion & Amy ~ Welcome!! I agree with Dreams, the ladies in here are so supportive and understanding. It is a great place to be able to share your highs and your lows. Wishing you all the best (and that your time in this thread is quick!).
Want & Saraz ~ :crossfingers: for your TWW!!
Trishy ~ Hoping that AF hasn't arrived and that you get your BFP!
Saraz ~ I'm so sorry to hear about DH. Definitely hoping that this round is a success and gives DH something to lift his spirits. As for telling people, it is entirely personal. The first time, most people knew (we are not really 'private people'). However it didn't end up working (something wrong with the embryo), and it was difficult to deal with, let alone telling other people who were really excited for us. However, if you have supportive people around you, it can be a good thing to tell them because even if it doesn't work out as planned, you will have people around you who can help. As for work, I have a great relationship with my boss, so he knew all along (both tries). It has been great this time as I have had most of last week of and all of this week off. He knows what has happened and has told me to take off all the time I need. If he didn't know, he would be wondering why I was having so much time off (as I never take sick leave). So, although my experience of telling a couple of people was good, if you are a private person, then maybe its not as good to tell people. That really was a long winded way of saying - it really is a personal choice!!
Dreams ~ 6 weeks is not a long time!! It definitely is really exciting (except for the jabs - but it is worth it in the end!). GL!!
Kaybee ~ I hope that you are coping as well as can be expected. I totally understand your thoughts about the pregnant women - especially this last week, I just want to cry - I wonder, why is it so easy for them? But, I guess what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Even now when I look around, all I see are pregnant women and small children! Its unfair, but we will have our turn.
Tantee ~ Hello again, unfortunately we are both back here! Wishing you the best of luck for this cycle.
ehm ~ I had been storking the tww while I was in the pg thread (sometimes it is hard to move threads altogether!). Sorry it didn't work for you. But fingers crossed it will this time.
Sorry if I have missed anyone!!

huge hugs saraz.i kinda know what you are going through.when we did out iui attempt in december, the day after having it done we found out my mum has aggressive breast cancer.thinking of you.
-
Mum2be: aw hun I was so hoping everything would work out fine for you hugs and glad to hear your moving on and thinking positive just remember don't push yourself hugs hugs hugs
-
Sarah - GBH's What a terrible time for you.
Mum-2-be - GBH to you also. I hope your recovery is speedy.
Hi everyone else!
-
Mum2be so sorry things didn't work out for you. Hoepfully your body bounces back quickly and you can get back on track soon
Saraz so sorry to hear about your DH. Hopefully its not that bad for him. Don't worry about being too stressed during a cycle our bodies can still do amazing things under intense pressure. I've read stories of women going through so much stress in other parts of their lives during a cycle and still managing to get a postive result.
Porsche hope Af turns up soon for you so you can get started with your cycle
Trubabe hope you get some answers on what is going on with your body
Hi to everyone I've missed have a great weekend
AFM just waiting for AF to turn up hopefully next week so I can start another cycle again.
-
Hi Lovely ladies
Hi Ladies
Kaybee ~ So sorry hun, Feeling for you. Id try and get a D&C. Ive heard and read that those that do have it get back into TTC quicker because their bodies get back to normal quicker. But I guess maybe its better for the body to wait. A big decision, GL hun xo
Ehm ~ Welcome. So sorry about your BFN's and I hope you can get some answers very soon, GL
Aurion ~ Well done and GL with the rest of the jabbing and your IVF cycle.
Amy ~ Hope time goes quick for you!
Trishy ~ Still have :crossfingers: for you! Dont give up, hope they are pg signs and not AF!
Mum-2-be ~ Hi hun, hope you are doing ok - so sorry about your m/c (((GBH))). Hoping your body gets back to normal ASAP.
True ~ Feel for you and DH, I know what its like as you know. Dont give up just yet and remember you still have IVF to fall back on. You guys will get there! As Porche said - they've done the insem so there must be some hope. FX and GL hun xoxo
Porche ~ Hope AF arrives soon and everything goes well, GL hun.
Trubabe ~ Big hugs. Dont know much about pre-manapause but what the others have said sounds good. There are obviously ways around it if it is that, stay strong if ya can xo
Wantaminime ~ Excellent - GL in TWW hun, Fingers x'd!
DIR ~ Thanks chicky :) Good on your DH so great he is so strong willed. My DH is trying very hard lately too. Bring on Aug for you! Hope it comes round quick.
Saraz ~ So sorry about DH, thats very heartbreaking. for you both that its something else and also that your little emby sticks hun (((GBH))).
Tantee ~ Welcome back and GL sweetie x
Terry ~ Hi, hope AF returns very soon.
WOW that was a lot. Sorry if ive missed anyone. GL all
AFM ~ I said I wasnt going to track this month but I had alot of EWCM yesterday and so decided to do a Maybe Baby and Im ovulating. DTD a couple of times this week, incl last night (sorry TMI) so now will be crossing fingers. Although DH and I are both sick with the dreaded flu so perhaps not holding our breaths this month. Yesterday I also felt that my bb's were a bit sore - so Im a little hopeful that maybe we have already conceived - would be so amazing if we have but if not we have our IVF in Oct to focus on.
