Spoke too soon....now I have cramps
I know you know this, but so many women have had cramps before a BFP. But I know the sinking feeling cramps here too. Is AF due for you Saturday?

    I know...there's always something to fret over...symptoms, no symptoms...you can't win!

I usually have a 15 day luteal phase so I guess it's due the day after the BT.

Neither. I triggered last Monday so that will still be in my sytem for a few days, but I still have a corpus luteum so no prog supplements for me.

N2L: I know that feeling all too well but Maruschke is right- the cramping could be a good thing... hang in there.

AFM: After being convinced yesterday that it was all over, the cramping and spotting disappeared last night and today so despite trying to tell myself not to get my hopes up again, of course I did. My BT was at 8am and come 3pm I still hadn't heard anything. As they usually ring with results around lunch time I was just about beside myself so called and left a message. Another hour went by so I called again and was told "Oh, yes we were getting to you." Effing what?? Have you lost the plot? How many other girls were there stressing themselves half to death?? So, after all that, it was another BFN.

This was our 6th attempt and while it was our first with prednisone I am feeling really disillusioned. For the first time I am wondering about how far we push this... At the very least we will have a month off before transferring our last embryo. I have had major surgery, a stim cycle and an FET back to back without a break and I am exhausted.

Again, apologies for the self-indulgence. Hope you are all doing better than me.

Meg, I am so sorry I know there's nothing I can say to make you feel better.

I am sorry your clinic wasn't more prompt phoning you. I had something similar happen to me where they "forgot" to call me. I had to ring the next morning. There really is no excuse. I let them know in no uncertain terms (while in floods of tears at the BFN).

I think breaks are good. This is my first cycle after three months off. It really helped. That said, hope to see you back in here soon and that next time there is a much happier ending in store for you.

    Take care x

Thanks, girls. I'm just so exhausted and disillusioned and dare I say it, bitter... not good. Definitely need a break. DH arrives home tomorrow, thank God. Can't wait to see his face.

How are you lovely ladies feeling today? I have absolutely everything crossed for you.

The bitterness is totally normal and understandable.

I am terribly bitter, jealous, angry etc.

Feeling sucky today (can you tell? )

I'm fine - I've written the cycle off so I don't have the anxiety I usually have. Going camping next weekend to help pass the time until AF arrives and I can start a Gonal-F cycle. Also keeping busy getting our garden ready and preparing our chook coop.

How are you? Doing an FET this cycle?

Nah Saff. I reckon it's the HCG jabs (pregnyl)

Mind you, the cramps went after a few hours. If I could just get rid of this bloating...

I'm seeing FS next week for post mc appt ( he only comes to my town once a month, so I thought I'd wait rather than drive an hr to see him earlier).

I guess I will bite the bullet and do FET next month, I'm CD7 or 8 today, usually I O on CD12 but as this AF was so heavy and is still on its last legs with a small amount of spotting, I doubt my lining would be ready in 4 days?? It would have been good timing otherwise, we are going away for DH's 40th on CD10-13, so hopefully I will still O then, as its the best chance I will have for BDing in a while. During the week Dh and I are ships passing in the night lol, due to shift work, long hours etc.

Feeling really stressed at the moment about things, especially my sick cat who is costing me a fortune in vet bills and I am really worried about him, don't know how I'll get the emotional strength to do an FET but will just have to do it.

I'm glad you aren't feeling stressed about the cycle but sorry it hasn't worked

Meg76 - Im so sorry to hear about your BFN. to you. I hope the break helps.

N2L - Oh no I hope you get an answer soon and that it doesn't ruin your cycle. I have no idea how it all works so will just be crossing everything for you.

Saffy - Im so sorry to hear about your cat. It is so devistating when a pet get so sick (emotionally and financially). They are a part of your family. Hopefully you O at the 'right time' and get a surprise BFP.

Maruschke - firstly sorry I spelt your name wrong in my last post! Must have been tired and didn't double check. Sorry this cycle hasn't gone to plan. Hopefully next one is the one.

Sounds like everyone is having a tough time this week.

Im going ok but AF has decided to show up again. Hopefully she buggers off soon as I am having a HSG scan on Friday to double check my tubes aren't blocked.
