I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! Have had pick up

Hi Ladies long time no chit chat.

Soooooooooo much has happened since I was last on.

After my last post I told you all about the polyp - well they are not going to worry about it at the moment - YAY for me. I dont get cancelled

So last saturday I had my pickup. 10 eggs!!!!
    9 with dna
    7 fertilised using isci
Yesterday I had one gorgeous little bom-bom put back in. (We have named it bom bom - "Baby Of Mark" thought it would be nice)

They have so far frozen 2. This afternoon we find out if there will be anymore joining???

Wondering how you fill in the time between now and the dreaded preg test??? Hard not to think about it how to occupy my time without putting so much on the outcome. It feels like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. You have to be positive and believe its going to all work out but then on the other hand what if it doesnt and I come crashing down???

After reading another ladies post she is blessed to have a little bundle on the way and it gives us full of hope that miracles do work.

Oh well I suppose we will have to wait.

So enjoying the progesterone everynight. Has anyone had any side effects??? Going to the loo alot during the night, headaches??? - I had a huge headache yesterday and all night until I bit the bullet and FINALLY took some panamax.

    Baby dust to you all.

    Chat again soon

soon to be NOT stressedcrankydragon HOPE to be happycalmdragon lmao

    hey

SCD - so great to hear you sounding happier and positive and that you get to do your harvest - excellent. So will they deal with the polyp after the harvest?

Loops - congratulations again - great news!! Everything crossed for you that all continues smoothly

AFM - we were supposed to be doing a FET tomorrow of our final frozen embies. We thawed two day one embies but both were only one or two cells at day 3 hence they won't be suitable for transfer and this cycle is all over for us. So it's back to another stim if we want to keep going. Came as a bit of a surprise as we had thawed quite a few embies previously and they had all made it to day 3 quite well - they then didn't make it quite to blast but all easily made it past day 3 so we were pretty disappointed that neither made it to day 3 this time.

So back to see our FS I guess to try and work out a plan for another stim cycle - aaagghhh! I was really hoping we wouldn't have to do this again - wishful thinking hey.
KMond Thats for your well wishes. Yeah SF said she would deal with it after harvest and she would try one egg first. So if I am lucky enough to be pregnant with this little one the she will deal with after the pregnancy. So I have ALL my fingers toes and anything else that I can cross to our little bom bom in my belly.

Loops - great to hear some happy positive news - I hope it rubs of to everyone

In response to AFM note - dont they wait for day 5??? Thats what the clinic did for us.

    Baby dust to all

    Hi girls,

I thought i'd join back in here, its been awhile. For those of you that dont know me, my name is Amy im 23 and my DH and I have been TTC coming up 4 years in Jan. We have male factor infertility (DH has a complete blockage and to operate on the blockage would send him sterile).

We did a stim cycle in August 10, they collected 11 eggs of which they could inject 5 and only 2 fertilised. We used 1 embryo and it resulted in a chem pg. We were devestated, I think it would have been easier if they just said it was negative.

In Nov last year we decided to take some time out and in March we left and went to Europe for 6 months, we had an amazing time and only returned home on Tuesday. DH and I have had a chat and at this stage it looks like we will be going back to have our other embryo transfered in March.

I start work again on Monday and will be full time until 1 Jan, I will then either be 3 or 4 days a week, I cant wait to cut down my hours, my job is very stressful. Im hoping we will be settled and I can talk DH into going back in Dec instead of March.

We have decided that this time we arent going to tell any family etc about the transfer, I dont need the added pressure of everyone asking how I am, and the disappointment if it doesnt work.

Congratulations Loops! So very happy for you!

    Hi Ladies

SCD - how are you going in the 2WW?? Hope you're hanging in there. How many frosties did you end up with? Thinking of you!

Amy - welcome back! Sounds like you have had an amazing trip and hopefully it was just what you needed to give you some energy for your new TTC efforts. Hope that your dream comes true. Keep us posted.

SCD you were asking about waiting for day 5 for our frozen embies which they did leave them until 5 days but they had a fairly good idea by day 3 that it was all over for them as their development was sooo slow.

Anyway that means we're back to another stim cycle which I started today with my 1st injection. Think I'd looked back with rose coloured glass and forgotten what it's really like to do a stim cycle - not fun. Seems like a bit of a quicker process than last time though when I seemed to be on synarel forever before I got started.

    Hello to everyone else.

    xx

    Hi Ladies

Keta ~ all the best for your next attempt!!

SCD ~ yes progesterone support (crinone), gave me headaches, constipation, thrush and the list goes on, horrible stuff but well worth it if it means the lil embryo will stick, all the best hun,

Amy ~ I reckon with a chem preg at least something tried to happen. I had a chemical pregnancy two months before this BFP so perhaps your body, like mine, is trying to prepare and next time it will stick! We have male factor as well - perhaps not to quite the same extent as you guys but I do really believe you can get a BFP as well!! All the best hun for you. Europe would have been amazing

KMond ~ a stim cycle is still exciting - you are on the road! GL and for you too!

    All the best everyone!
AFM ~ everything still ticking along - i'm excited but nervous about my dating scan (1st scan) on Friday. hope my little pea is developing properly

Hi guys, I read constantly but have only commented a few times but I just thought I would drop in and say after almost two years of TTC for No2, 2 full stim cycles and 7 transfers we have got a BFP. My HCG was 2180 for CD19 which is really great.....I go for a scan in a few weeks and just hope that I actually get to see a heartbeat this time......

    Hey everyone!!
Long time no chat!! I have been stalking though and preying for you all!!

Loops ~ How exciting!! Oh I cant wait to hear that you heard a strong heartbeat of your little one =D keep us posted and I will be stalking you so much on Friday!!

Jacklicky ~ Congrats!!!! So good to see so many BFP floating around =) Those are great numbers =)

KMond ~ good luck with the cycle. The injections aren't fun... but I prefer them than the spray!!! keeps us posted and will be hoping you get lots of nice juicy follies and eggies =)

Amy ~ Not telling is working well for us. it does mean that if something bad happens there isnt as much support, but that is being outweighed by the thought of being able to surprise people. but for us people know we are doing it, just not what stage we are at. Plus it is nice to keep it between you and your hubby (well atleast it is nice for me and my hubby, to have this little secret just between us and not having other people involved) Even though you guys arent going to tf for a few months stick around and keep us in the loop =)

(man i feel like a hypocrate telling you all to keep us in the loop or let us know how you are going when I havent done that. Sorry girls. You will know soon though I promise!! lets just say i'm going a little crazy atm )

SCD ~ what day they transfer depends on what the embryos are doing. there are 2 schools of thought on it. cause see they might fertilise, but not reach blastocyte (about day 3) or embryo (about day 5). so if they tf day 2 or 3, they might be tf ones that arent going to keep going. BUT some people thing the sooner they are back in the natural environment = better chance of sticking if they do make it). If they wait to see if they reach embryo they know they get that far... but might be less chance of sticking because they haent been in the envrionment long enough.
It does seem to be a bit of educated guesses (you know like professional opinion) plus a bit of preference from the lab techs etc, plus a bit of trial and error I think. cause it is different for everyone.
Hope your not going to crazy in the TWW!!!!!!!

Keta ~ How you going? have you had your FS appointment yet? how did it go? *hugs* and wishing you the best. the first appointment can be a little overwhelming because they go over alot of stuff, esp. if you are unsure why you aren't getting pg.

mc_hope ~ how about you? have you had your FS appointment? when I joined I technically wasnt LTTTC either. But we new we would have to have AC cause my hubby has had a vasectomy. So you are still welcome here =) *hugs*

Tantee ~ HI!! how are you going? have you made some decisions? I hope you have worked out a plan and its one you are happy and comfortable with. xoxo

HappyBaby ~ Bring on those natural miracles!!!!!!!

..is that everyone??? if not Hi! and i'm sorry and wishing everyone all the best and lots of love and sticky vibes!!!!!!!!!!!

Loops hun, you don't have to turn your sig off. It's possible for members to change their preferences so that sigs aren't shown. Changes to signature guidelines in LT TTC

Congrats on your exciting news too.

    Hi Ladies

Woohoo to Tei!!!!! So exciting - congratulations.

Loops - I like seeing your ticker - it keeps me thinking positive! I hope you are going well.

KMod - I hope your cycle is going to plan.

And to everyone else my fingers are crossed for you too

AFM: Well yesterday was the big day - my first fs appointment and a big day it was! I think I slept 2 hours max last night because it was a late appointment and my head just wouldn't stop spinning. It was positive but a lot more involved than I realised. DH's SA came back great (he was very proud) but after explaining my experience with AF they decided to start me on ovulation induction and ovarian stimulation cycle. I honestly thought we would go, they would take some blood maybe a pelvic exam and say come back when we have the results and we will make a plan. Instead we are atraight into it. Its good but very overwhelming. I'm off for a blood test within the next week and if my hormones are low enough (I guess i'll learn the technicals as I go!) then I take provera to get things going, start injections once AF has arrived and once she leaves go for a hysterosalpinogram (now that does not sound like fun!!!) and then more blood tests. Hopefully the cycle will be successful but the fs has warned it prob won't be. So scarey!!! Poor DH looked so pale as they explained everything ad I think at once stage he was ready to run. I guess we need to look at the positive - someone is finally listening and we have a plan!

Good luck and baby dust to all!!!

Thanks everyone!! =) I'm so excited. Trying not to stress...I'm thinking, our battle was to get preg, now I am everything will be ok. (my optimism =) ). But I am obviously still silently freaking out =P

It's crazy, I don't know what to do now...taking so long to get here its like...ok now what?

I couldn't do it withouth all you beautiful strong women. You are amazing, and my only wish is one day you get to experience the feeling of seeing 2 lines =). Thankyou so much.
    Tantee ~ I'm having a scan at 7 weeks =) (so in 3 weeks)
Keta ~ Thats great they are going straight into it. It is alot to go through. But you do get plently of time to sort thought it. so if you do feel overwhelmed, sit down and just go through it as you need to and it will make sense. if it doesnt we are here, and I know my clinic were happy for me to ring up with any questions anytime, so yours should too. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

sticky vibes and baby dust for all!!!
