Good luck for today Kritkit. FX this is it for you

Bee - How frustrating for your loan paperwork to go MIA. Lucky you called. I am the queen of stalking people until I get what I need. Otherwise my stuff gets sidetracked too

Keta - Hopefully upping the meds will do the trick. Its amazing what they can do to our bodies. I hate it when they dont respond like they should. Although I guess if we had normal bodies, most of us would not be in here.

Mrs Mac - Yay for starting IVF. Crazy to be saying yay, but its the most empowered I feel. Bring on AF!!

    Hi to everyone else.

AFM - Just waiting for BT results at lunch to see if I have or am ovulating. Its a natural cycle for me this month and when AF comes I need to start taking Progynova to line up for another FET. So sick of all the waiting...

Looks like I'm back in here
BT tomorrow morning - but pretty sure it's over

Anyway - got to make a decision about whether to FET the last little frostie or lose 10kg at least first.

Heart wants to jump right in - head is saying let's give it a better chance and loses right first. So probably head wins out this time - seems a shame to waste a good embie if my body is not doing what it is supposed to.

If it wasn't for DH and you girls I don't know what I'd do.

    Hi Ladies

    Krikkit - FX for today.

Vic - Your doing a great job othe list. Thank you. I hate natural cycles. Only because mine are so all over the place. Hopefully Af isn't far away for you and you can stop waiting. So frustrating.

Bee - Ahh how annoying for you. I hope the manager does push it through for you. As Joeve said they never miss abeat to charge you for something. I hope it's cleared up soon for you.

MyTurn - . I'm sorry. I always battle with my head and heart. Unfortuately it's my heart that wins and that's not always a good thing for me.

    Krikkit - Any news?????

Vic - What did the BT say?

Bee - I hate banks. Always stressful when it comes to money. Why does this all have to be so dam expensive.

My turn - so sorry hun. Bigs hugs. Know that we are behind you and here to support you what ever you choose to do.

AFM - so I rang the clinic again today. Am going in for a BT to see what's going on. So fingers crossed will have some sort of answer and plan hatched by late tomorrow afternoon.

Bee - that sux! seriously.. its probably sitting in someone's tray, I know.. I used to work for a bank. Hopeless!

Vic - can you explain a natural cycle? is it med free?? I haven't had no meds before.

myturn - hard decision to make. I am over weight at the moment too, and it will be a hard decision if I need to do a FET all over, I might have to drop about 10kg before I consider it again, its just so damn $$ and hard work, and hell who likes waiting!!!

AFM - everything went great, eggie was all defrosted and already forming into a blastocyst (yay!) I still have two more frozen, so I won't need them - stick baby stick!

Hey does anyone else find it hysterical that in a TTC thread so many of us are on the pill? I know what the logistics are, but every once in a while I find the irony gets to me!

Sarah4Kurt - sry to hear your news We pretty much all know how it feels and give you all the hugs you might need.

Saffy - I am doing an antagonist this time. For you, your first long down reg, huh (if I remember correctly from way back). I did that my first cycle last month and it felt like everyone else was doing something but me!! I start jabbing April 1 with US April 6. Will look forward to seeing how you are doing ..... hopefully this does the trick for you

Bee - aaaaargh about the B***** paperwork getting lost. Banks! At least you checked so you can get it sorted ASAP. Hope your virus runs away. Good news is that next week has GOT to be better than this one

Jane - thinking of you and your epic AF saga Will look forward to some progress for you after BT.

Porsche - hehe re the miracle - yeah right!! I am also finding it ironically funny that the lack of stress of not being on a cycle and TTC cos of being on OCP has done wonders for (ahem, TMI warning) DH's 'interest' iykwim.......right when it counts but doesn't! Hehe.

Myturn - sorry to hear things not looking good Have no useful thoughts on the now v later question for next time but wishing you well in your decision-making.

Vic - Good luck with BT result ....... Sorry DH has had to go away again at short notice. Feel for you re the waiting frustration

    Krikkit - Congrats on PUPO!!

AFM: Same old same old. Nothing new. Waiting waiting waiting. Boring me! No dramas to share. No unexpected events or non-events needing sorting. OK, rant over and back to work Happy baby dreams to make into reality everyone. Night!!!

Kritkit - Congrats on being PUPO. I have put you down for one day 5 embryo on the list, please let me know if its not right Enjoy the TWW madness A natural cycle is the old fashioned way. No meds, just DTD around ovulation and hoping to catch the eggy. We were told to have a month off after our last failed IVF cycle last month and I thought great I dont ovulate so dont know how long the time off would be, so my FS said to run a bt to see whats happening and bugger me I was about to ovulate. My DH and I are both stunned, but pleased that we can do something in our month off.

Joeve - Yay for IVF, bugger for the cost associated with IVF. I cant remember why your talking about the PGD way? (Sorry, so many of us in here )

    Hi to everyone else.

AFM - Well apparently I have ovulated and we are guessing it was over the weekend and DH was hope and we DTD a couple of times, so FX that we caught it. I still dont have much hope as it hasn't worked naturally before, but its nice to save the money this month and who knows it may have happened for a reason My E2 was 465 and my prog 14, so its defiantely happened between last Thursday afternoon 3.50pm and Tuesday morning 8.00am. Cant believe my body sometimes. So I am in the TWW but it feels different from an assisted cycle. Maybe because I dont know if my tubes are blocked and with an assisted cycle, you definately know its in there. Sure would be nice though to fall pg naturally and be done with IVF...a girl can dream...

    Hi Ladies

Krikkit - Woo hoo on being PUPO! Now the TWW crazies start. FX.

Vic - Our bodies always amaze us and you can never expect it to do what you think it should or know lol. Yay to O. Who knows this may be the cycle to get that BFP? I'm glad your DH was home.

Joeve - I'm thinking of bringing PGD up with my FS too because of MC history. I've had 2 blighted Ovums. One in April 2010 right beofre we started our first IVF cycle. And One in January this year from our FET in December. Have you had it done or are you just looking into it? Did your FS suggest it to you?

Hiya ladies, I've come to join in now
Will be starting my first IVF/ICSI cycle as soon as AF shows up, prob in about 5 days if she plays nice lol
So right now I'm panicking about the cost, reading the stack of info the clinic sent us home with yesterday, and trying to get the schedule of events straight in my head. Wow is it full on or what?!
We are going down this path because DH has very, very little ejaculate, and since having it tested we have found his swimmers are slow.
Bloods also revealed my AMH to be very low for my age, at just 5.4, but ultrasound shows grade A ovaries with plenty of eggs, so the FS is starting straight away with higher doses of the meds hoping that I will respond well.

Assessment cycle went perfectly, I had a lovely egg ovulate at 22mm on day 14, my lining is lovely and thick at 10.5mm on CD24 (today) so all our fingers and toes are crossed that my body responds well to the stimulation and we get some good results

I dunno what the 'normal' dosage range is, or what drugs are 'usually' prescribed to all you ladies, but I am curious as to how mine compare:
    Day 2 commence prednisolone
    Days 3-6 Gonal F @ 187.5
Day 7 Gonal F and Orgalutran
Days 7-10 bloods and ultrasound with nurse advising of any adjustments to dosages
    Pregnyl trigger when advised
possible hormone support (pessaries etc) after transfer, will be advised

Got a Gonal F dvd to watch from the clinic too, hope it's got a good storyline at least

Anyhoo, sticky vibes to all, I look forward to getting to know you all
