AFM Thanks everyone for the well wishes with my transfer today. I'm back home now and am very surprised with how I feel! I have had two IUI's and was feeling very nauseous and just generally weak after them, but with today's transfer I'm feeling very well and am having to force myself to take it easy and sit down The speculum was a tad uncomfortable, the full bladder was worse, but it was so nice to see the embryo just before it was implanted That made me so happy. Now fingers, knees and toes crossed that it will proceed to grow and imbed! Oh yeah, my 12 initial embryo's that made it to day 3 at the moment we only got 4 blastocysts (including the one that's inside me now), the other 3 are frozen. They will keep an eye on a few others, but this might be it for this pick up. So anyhow I'm officially in the 2WW now... Can't wait to do the blood test

Hey ladies...I hope everyone is well! Wow it's so busy here I love it! Keeping me from going insane.

Lyra Stardust - yep BT on Monday! 3 more days. I have been fighting the urge to POAS so bad!!! This afternoon I had a lil bit of crinone that was bloody. Followed by a bit more blood on the tp! I'm hoping it will stop & is not AF!
How was the retailer therapy? I hope it did the trick. I am so broke so I'm trying to stay busy but it's so hard.

Ree Ree- hope all goes well for Saturday. Will be praying for ur lil emby.

thank goodness.... I am ovulating - it's only day 23....!! Yay! Transfer will be sunday so I just squeeze in for this week... phew!! Another one for Vic to add to the Waiting for transfer list - I am so glad you manage to keep on top of that vic - it's a big job that list!!!!

big big for joeve - heres hoping you feel better soon.... I was sick for both my Stim cycles - I think it really messes with your body and you get susceptible to everything!!

ooh! Me4ever - I totally agree! It's so nice to see the little blob up on the screen and ready to go!! It's interesting to hear other people's stories, and hard to know what is the 'best' evidence based practice in regards to EPU/ET and growing the llittle blobs etc... at this stage I just rely on the Dr to make the decisions and don't ask too many questions. I don't have to have a full bladder for my ET, and I wonder why each Dr does it differently...

J.Bear - I am crossing my fingers for you so bad!!!! I can never bring myself to POAS - feels like I am just jinxing myself.... as AF has always arrived before BT anyway, it's kinda of a waste of money to POAS anyway (IMO!)

AFM..... as previously noted follicle was hiding this morning, but eventually found one at 15-16mm..... and blood test confirmed ovulation is on it's way.... so hoping for a transfer time for EARLY sunday morning, as we have tickets to some kids shows for the comedy festival!! it's easier than trying to negotiate next week, but still a pain....

I am sure the universe is trying to teach me something... but I can feel myself getting my hopes up again this evening and it's scary.... I hate the feeling of disappointment that occurs when it fails.... but hey.... I'm getting ahead of myself.... lets get passed transfer first!!!

thankyou lovely ladies for always being here.... I know I am not in as much as I was earlier this year, but I am watching and here and hopeing and praying and talking about you all often with DH.... (he just thinks it's weird!!! but hey!)

As for me im excited found a new FS with more reasonable costs so looking forward to seeing him on the 23rd April. Hi girls I am about to go to my scan for my flare cycle, have been away for easter, feeling like something is happening in my belly so hopefully there is a few follies. EPU probably early next week so looking forward to being in the tww again soon. Can't wait to stop the syneral!!

Hi everyone just popping in to say I'm crossing my fingers for you all and excited to see all the action.

Vic sorry about the business plans falling through. Hopefully something better is just around the corner.

Joeve - hope your feeling better.

Even though I'm not posting much I am thinking of you all. I'm cd 7 today and stabbing away but so far nothing is happening. We have decided to ignore this cycle with no expectations until that first us and we know if we can go any further. If I can I will join you all once again but trying to stay as blasé as possible for now. If we do get cancelled it will be three in a row so needing to keep the defenses up. On a positive Dh has been so much more open about where he is at with all this and we are both in a good place.

Myturn - I wonder why you don't have to have a full bladder with your FS, don't they use U/S (on the lower abdomen) to see what he/she is doing?

AFM 1 day after transfer and I'm feeling very well... I'm so surprised! I've recovered from the epu and expected to feel tired and nauseous after the transfer, but none of this. I'm finding it hard to sit still and I'm having to force myself to take time out instead of running around and doing all sorts of chores. Thanks to my awesome work roster I don't have to go back to work till Tuesday!
I'm not sure if any of you combine the IVF with acupuncture, but I do visit one once a week. Yesterday she told me to use the evening of the transfer as a kind of happy evening, as you normally would have had intercourse to conceive and would have had that happy feeling naturally. She told us to watch a funny movie and have some chocolate. This was so nice. I suppose it also makes you feel positive about things.
I also got a final phone call from the embryologist and she told me that there are 7 embryo's in total that they were able to freeze! This was more than she expected yesterday!

Nope - no ultrasound they just put it in and squeeze the embie out then check to make sure the embie is actally out and then it's done

hi everyone else

My scan wasn't very good, lots of small follies, so jabbing until next week for a Friday EPU, there is really only 3 follies that they expect to make the right size, I am sooooo depressed about how each cycle my results get worse and worse. Am panicking that I won't even get to transfer. Looks like I will have to go down the donor egg path soon as I cannot keep doing stims and being disappointed, its getting ridiculous. Stupid body, stupid old age grrrrrrr
