With the child protection I think I googled it & found it that way. Monash IVF had a link to it but it wasn't working properly. You can also try this link http://mivf.com.au/fertility-treatment/victorian-legislation-on-ivf

Emma if you ring mivf and make your first appointment for counselling and pla and nurse then you can ask. I'm pretty sure they sent them all out to me as well.

Still sick here just terrible, the only plus side is that I have not noticed any side effects from the stim drugs apart from bloating. Trying to see the positive :)

AFM - started progesterone pessaries last night in prep for transfer sometime on Tuesday. Hoping that one of my little blasties thaws well.

I have not been posting at all in here because I am not doing anything cycle-wise until after my FS appointment on the 26th. I have lost 5.5 kg but a kilo or so found me over Easter :( So back on the wagon tomorrow...You have to start on a Monday, right??!! ;)

Hi ladies, I hope you are all well. Had my transfer yesterday an it was kind of wam bam thank you ma'am, we got called in and the FS told us we had one really good looking embryo to transfer as well as 3 frosties so I was really happy with that. they showed us the embryo on a screen and then 2 min later we were done and out the door. I alway kind of thought I would have to lay down for a while but apparently not. so I spent the rest of yesterday in the couch trying to rest as much as I could and today am just trying to get along with life as not obsess to much about it. BT on the 25th so FX.

afm- depressed about my small follicles and wavering backwards and forwards about cancelling but have decided to go ahead no matter what, as 1) I was feeling like this was my last stim cycle as I've had enough, and 2) I'm going away for my 40th in June, so wouldn't be able to fit another in anyway. Why is it always so hard.

Lyra - that's okay it takes me a while to type out replies. Yep I'm doing the crinone progesterone pessaries & had bleeding at about the same time last cycle. Gosh how quickly excitement can turn into dispair, but hopefully we get our little miricals! I'll be thinking of u tomorrow hoping & praying that the BT is a BFP. big hugs xox

My turn - Thank you for your kind words. Your right, I will come through this & hopefully it will be good news one day! I haven't been able to really talk to anyone other than DH as I feel like my friends & family don't understand. So having lovely ladies such as ur self as support has kept me sane. Hello to everyone else that I have missed!
AFM transfer on Saturday went really well...Well as far as I can tell anyways! The hardest part was trying not to pee all over the FS while the nurse was shoving the ultrasound thingamy through my abdomen! Then I was wheeled out on a flat bed to the waiting area for about 30 minutes before I got up, got dressed and finally was able to relieve myself, yay! Have been taking it very easy, lots of lazing on the lounge for me. Went in for my mid-luteal bloods this morning to check hormone levels. Final blood test (and possibly ultrasound?) will be on the 26th. Embryologist just rang to say we have 3 beautiful blasties on ice, hopefully we won't be needing them anytime soon!

Had my scan yesterday and EPU is booked for Wednesday and then TF will be Monday 23rd. Looks like a few of us will be in TWW's together.
Hi ladies just thought I would pop in and say a quick hi to you all, so miss being a part of it atm while I am on this weight loss journey but on the upside I am feeling great and lost 5.9kgs in the last 4wks, 11 since my wedding in nov and getting fitter every day, the torture is worth it.
I am crossing my fingers everyday to see more bfp's in here before I come back full swing in July.
I must say thought the DHEA and diaphormin still make me feel nauseous at times but I remind myself I have to take them to help us have a baby.

Ree*Ree - Lucky you, getting to lay around for half an hour. I get up straight away and always wonder if I should lay down longer, but they need the chair for the next person. I just go in, strip off from the waist down, hop in the chair, they do what they do, I get back up, pee, get dressed and leave. Pretty straight forward and quick.
Hi to everyone else. Work is flat out so I can be in here long...
AFM - Scan went well. Lining is 8.5mm and smooth. Thank god. Was lining up for Saturday transfer but as I dont have pessaries they are being couriered over to me tomorrow I have to wait until Monday for day 5 blastie. They will thaw them on Friday and let them grow out. We fly over Saturday which they said is good as if they look poorly they will put 2 back in at day 3 (provided they grow overnight). Monday is actually our 1st year wedding anniversary so it would be a lovely sign. I am sick of looking for signs though. Everywhere I look as a sign lol. We got this money in that we were not expecting to pay for a cycle, its our anniversary... the list is endless. JUST GET ME PREGNANT!!! Stop shoving signs in my face!!!
Haha Vic, I always look for signs too- but just want the one sign- a pos pregnancy test :D
I'm having our EPU on our anniversay- that has to be a good sign right?!?!?!? :dance:

I was actually kidding myself that it might have worked cos I got quite a strong line this morning on POAS.
I have to wait for ages to see FS now but they're letting me do another cycle while I'm waiting at least.

Hello sorry if I missed anyone I am on my phone...
Should I be worried that they won't give me a def date for EPU? Have another u's and bt on Wednesday. Lining is 12mm today and I have follies from 17mm to 10mm that were measured.
BFN for me too :shakehead: I knew it was but there was still that lil bit of hope in the back of my mind. Biggest hugs to you Lyra :hug: having a positive HPT must have been very confusing & even more upsetting when you heard from the nurse. Thats a bummer that you have to wait so long to see your FS, but i hope that the next one is a BFP. Will be keeping FX for you....Take care of yourself xo

No Joeve don't worry-they will probably only book in when they are over 18mm, you will def get a date Wednesday cos they are almost there. Mine's on Friday 7.30 am ,hopefully yours is Friday too!! You still have the trigger injection to look forward to. Hurry up Friday I want this week to end already!

JBear, I'm sorry for your BFN sweets :hug: I am seeing a really nice lady that specialises in IVF and acupuncture, she doesn't go by the clock, is really reasonably priced, and she sort of does counselling as well. So it's not just about the needles. Her name is Janice Martin and she's in Brighton :)

AFM - Nothing exciting is happening here really, just waiting for Thurs to go and have my first blood test for this cycle. Does anyone know as a general rule what cycle day is most common for them to do transfer on a FET, im guessing around day 14? DH goes back to work on Thursday and will be away for a week so it looks as though he might be away for transfer which is really disappointing as my clinic like to take photos of you together etc to make memories (good ones we all hope!). Sorry I haven't been posting much, im still working 3 days a week and we are also in the process of trying to get a business off the ground which is proving to be very difficult and taking up a lot of my time!

Joeve - The trigger is no worse than clexane LOL. It just stings a little. Not too bad though.
AFM - EPU tomorrow. Going to be tricky as DD2's daycare doesn't open until 7am and we have to be there by 7:15am. So we decided that we have to take DD2 with us. I'll have her with me during admission while DH does his erm cough "thing". Then when he's done he'll take DD2 to daycare and come back lol. It's roughly 1/2 hour 45min trip in. I Ok'd it with the nurse today so releif. We haven't told anyone (except my boss to arrange time off) about doing IVF again. TF maybe different though. Cross that bridge when we get to it.
