Just a quick one from me as I am sitting at the computer with a nice hot milo trying to motivate myself to do another hour of work. This week is an absolute nightmare at work, I literally don't have enough hours in the day.
Had a scan today and lining is 7.3, so not too bad. They want me to scan again on Tuesday next week, hoping to get it even thicker. And then maybe transfer later that week.
Like some of you girls, scheduling transfer with work is a PITA. I want to have the day off after transfer this time but as I work 3 days/week, if it turns out I need 2 of those days off it's not going to be possible. But then if it falls on a non work day, goodluck trying to rest with an almost 2 year old at home ha! Right, back to the grind... blah!!
Mrs P: it's a pain to keep waiting, especially when progress is not happening!!
so.... looks like I am back on the wagon after all... not totally sure I am ready, but I am not sure I ever will be - another down reg cycle to start this month (actually AF arrived today... so I am CD1 today(wednesday).... ) but as it's down reg, it's just a matter of waiting to start the pill, and then waiting to start the syneral, and then waiting to stop it, and get cracking on everything else!
I wrote a whole page of questions, and then chickened out
but I think I covered most of the things we really need to worry about now...
main points.... apparently my test of ovarian reserve was a bit on the lower end - but this was when we originally tested 18 months ago or so.... DH's sperm was 87% - which is normal (although 85% is the cut off - he said).
As for the last stim cycle - egg quality was good, grade 2 4 cell - which he said was better than average - he has upped the FSH to 250 (from 225). He also said I could use the Pregnyl instead of the crinone.... it came up accidentally - I don't hate the crinone, but TBH...... I don't like the lack of "intimacy" when we use the crinone, it's bad enough having to do all of this, and then.... to have not sex... just tops it off (I didn't tell him that though... just said.... well... if I can have the choice, I'd prefer to stab myself!!!)
He sent us for karyotype tests just in case, although our eggs are fertilising, so I don't think that's going to be an issue - still I'd prefer to check everything out.
I asked him if there were any other tests or anything he thought we should do, and he said no.
he did give me the option to start an antaganist staight away - but I said I wasn't ready - and was expecting to do the Down Reg anyway... and he said as the longer cycle seemed to work better for me then it might be better to stick with that.... I said, it gives me a bit more time to lose a bit more weight, and told him I had lost 12kgs since Jan 2011... he said that was good, and yes losing more weight would be helpful.
anyway... that about sums it up.... so.... July EPU and transfer it is....

AFM - Still no AF, spotting on and off since sun but still no AF. Rang the clinic today cos I was freaking out. They said to just keep waiting and if she doesn't arrive by early next week then I mightg go in for a blood test to see whats happening.
Jane - I would get a BT sooner rather than later. I hate the waiting, especially when it turns out your waiting for nothing at all
myturn - So glad that your appointment went well. We will all be here you while your on your journey. Well done on the weight loss. I wish I had of asked for the pregnyl shots instead of the pessaries. I hate them too.
Vic sorry AF false alarm here! Had a pink wipe and nothing since so she will be a day or 2 away I guess? How are you going? Anything symptomwise happening?
Heya ladies, I'm jumping back in the game for a June FET! CD2 today, on progynova and prednisolone. Will be checking hormones and lining on CD10, and hopefully transferring one day6 embie 5 days after that

hi ladies, just a quick update - had scan today, lining is looking good and FET is scheduled for tuesday. i got to start the lovely prog. pessaries today too... ewww. i usually have crinone and have to say i prefer it to the pessaries.
vic - i gave you the wrong cd a week ago (cant count, sorry), can you bump me up a day? i will be cd13 tomorrow. thankyou. hope your tww is going ok & not driving you too crazy. if all goes well with this FET, i will pop in and say hi on tuesday.

ree*ree - sounds like we are doing similar FET's this month. this will be my first FET with HRT, so hoping i have beginners luck! fingers crossed for you too (and all the ladies in here).

Are the pessaries what make your lining thicken up after your transfer? If so, I'll be doing those this cycle also- are they that disgusting?

I sent it express post on the 20th and my clinic didn't send it on until the 25th!
I so badly want to start my journey and I'll probably have to wait another month
Hi ladies, well just a quickie from me as I'm on my phone. Still no AF in the house and it's really bugging me, i have never had a cycle longer than 40 days. Is it common after an IVF cycle to have your body all messed up? I have has cramping for the last 2 days but still nothing. Have decided to POAS tomorrow morning as usually when I decide to do this AF will turn up before I get the chance.
