Well we had our transfer done today 2 x 9 cell little embies put back in. I was quite worried about the transfer as I'm still feeling quite swollen but it went fine. I had a really back experience a couple of goes back where one of the other doctors performed the transfer & since then my own doctor comes in to do it for me even if she's not rostered on - lovely lady!! So of the 10 fertailsed eggs, 3 had stopped growing overnight. With the two that we put back in that leaves us with 5 potential freezies. They will be grown to a 5 day blastocyst so I will hear on Monday how many have survived.
I was quite sore the day of the egg collection (Wed) then felt really good by Friday but I had my first pregnyl1500 booster on Fri & since then have really bloated back up. Apparently this is quite normal but my doctor said to call in on Mon morning when I'm due my second booster as they may advise me to only take half a shot.

Lisa - really hope that your EPU goes well. I remember thinking that about the times too (haven't had an EPU in a couple of years though) and when I got to the hospital they were running late! I freaked, but then the doc said it didn't matter - so why the specific trigger time then? Anyway (rambling again) - good luck.
LittleMM - are you feeling any better / less bloated? You got a great haul of eggs and sounds like they're going well. Anyway, hope the TWW is kind to you! (I'll be in it with you very soon)
AFM have had lots of family things on this weekend with my pregnant SIL (the one who's due when my bub was due in November). It's so so hard- she's showing now and getting lots of comments from everyone. I really wish them the best but seeing them just reminds me of everything I've been through and of how unfair it all is. It's the next few days as I dwell on it that will be hard. I really don't want to be one of those women so obsessed with having a baby that they just aren't any fun anymore. Must put feelings aside and smile (:cry: inside)

Kaybee, just a quick strong bear hug for you. I can so empathise. A friend at work that did her first IVF go 3 wks after me and continued on successfully and had her baby 3 wks ago...I was quietly happy to see her off on maternity leave. I'm sending you all the strength I can muster.

Inshelligent ~ GL with the councelling and TTC. This TTC journey is so terribly hard a lot of the time and I know myself ive felt depressed. Also had a really hard time with DH and our marriage was really struggling there for a while (wantaminime)

AFM ~ AF still hasnt showed but ive had real bad tummy cramps and lower back ache. I have 34-35 day cycles so should be here about now. Time will tell - not going to test unless it not here on Wed.

gday ladies just a quick post have been laying low atm were still feeling very emotional and raw but good news is we have started round two already I start injections and nasal spray at the same time I think end of this week or start of next nurse has to call back with exact dates and then trasnfer will be in sale around the 12th july she also said cause were not doing a down reg cycle I shouldn't develop a cyst thanks for all you well wishes guys and hope you all have better luck

AFM - Nothing to report whatsoever, no real symptoms except being pretty sleepy which started last FET which ended in a BFN so am not reading anything into it this time.
Wow everyone - we're all getting pretty down in here. I've done this several times 'out here' but it's my first cycle in here with all of you guys and it's really highlighting just how much this crap messes with our damn emotions! I guess it's easier to forget about it when you're not reading and writing about it all everyday - not that I would advocate the forgetting about it approach - it catches up with you eventually. Come on, group hug!:grouphug:

Hi Kaybee thanks so much for the :grouphug: i know i really needed it!! This is such a hard road and when you are actually doing a full cycle its so hard to not let it consume every minute of your life. I always try and enter a new cycle with the approach of just plodding along and letting it work away in the background, but it never really goes like that!! I get too carried away with things, worrying and thinking too far ahead. This cycle i feel like i'm convincing myself already that it has failed and i haven't even had egg collection yet!
Which is tomorrow....Ahhhh, i only have 3 mature follicles so praying that we get eggs from them all :pray: Geez this is so stressful, its really wearing me and DH down lately, i fear that this could be one of our very last cycles, then we may have to call it a day :shakehead:
Anyway, sorry to be another misery guts here. I hope everyone is coping as best they can and i'll keep praying that the sun will shine on us all one day soon.

Sorry was MIA over the long weekend.
Seems like I have some catching up to do in here, which I will get onto tonight as on my mob atm so will do persies then.
Afm: I have a phone appointment with the FS on the 13th July, but now DH has given me a trip to Brissy to attend a friends surprise b'day on the 10th so may stay the extra few days and go in person it's our appointment 2nd appointment and things are still looking set for an Aug/Sep cycle :-).
As for the job front..... No luck as yet but 2 more full time jobs have come up so I will apply for them today.

AFM - Have DH I will not out right reject the job offer if I can get away with it but I cannot accept it until I have an outcome with this round of IVF. I have a very good job now so it is was just a case of chasing the dollars. Not sure he understood it as I did but you get that.

Im gunna take a break from BB and even TTC until we do our next IVF/ICSI cycle, probably in Oct. I know its pretty negative but Im not going to TTC naturally gunna give up and just hope that by not thinking about it we may get a surprise natural pg. Hoping I can do it.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick one. I got a phone call from the clinic this morning that we have 4 blastocysts for the freezer! That is our best freeze result ever (4 fresh cycles in total). My FS had me on additional drug to improve my egg quality so it obviously helped. My numbers for this cycle went:
13 eggs
10 fertalised
07 made it to day 3. Transferred 2 x 3 day embryos
04 made it to 5 day blastys for the freezer!!
My other 3 cycles only ever had 3 or 4 embys in total.
