OMG Springlola, that is unbelievable!!!! I can't believe that you were treated in such a horrible manner. I would think that patient privacy would be one of the first things you learn at FS101. Please don't allow the insensitive attitude of one person to cause you to lose hope in your cycle. Hopefuly you will prove them wrong. Good on you for sticking to your guns!!!!! Big hugs to you...as if this cr@p isn't hard enough without such shi%%y treatment from those you are putting all your trust in. Take care and best wishes for a better than expected result.
Kaybee - Happy house cleaning (that is considered an oxy moron in my house) Good Luck for tomorrow... at least you will be able to rest up and admire your clean house while your little embie snuggles in.
Kass, thanks for your well wishes too.
Oneday - as you know, my epu is at 12. I was told I could have tea and toast before 6, but Nothing after. I will be having the twighlight sedation as well. Can't wait to hear your results.
-
oneday - good luck with EPU I will jump on to check your numbers. As for OHSS, the worst case I had was on cycle 2 - it started like bad af pain after epu then was worse the following day then in the middle of the night I woke up with the most awful stomach pains, it hurt to get in and out of bed and I could not stand up straight. Hurt to pee also (not passing the pee but the muscle contraction if you know what I mean). FS saw me for a scan and my ovaries were swollen and I had a fair bit of fluid and a swollen tummy. Used heat packs to help with the pain and took about 2 days to settle down. Hoping you don't get it!
tantee - good luck with your epu as well, will be checking your numbers too!!
springlola - that sounds so awful, you are right and he has been doing it to long and lost contact with what sort of news he is delivering and how it is done. So glad your epu is going ahead, fx all goes well.
kaybee - all the best for et, hope this one is the one. Rest up and enjoy the tww!
kass - best of luck with what decision you make next - its all so hard
I think that is everyone - hi to anyone I have missed
afm - just cranky with af, started puregon tonight and am on 250 this time.
-
Wasn't going to come on till this afternoon but have some spare minutes before we go to sydney :)
Springlola i would be putting in a complaint!!!! that is unbelievable, sometimes my nurses will comes back out to the waiting room and tell me what time for an appointment but i would want to hope that they would never speak of something so confidential in front of a waiting room! I think you have made the right decision, they can't tell the quality of your eggs on an ultrasound they cant even tell if all follicles have eggs in them! I wish you all the best and hope you prove them wrong! xxx
Goodluck today aswell tantee xxx
Kaybee i ahve everything crossed that this little one sticks xxxx
Thanks nicole :) i havn't had any of those signs and i hope i dont get them either sounds horrible. Goodluck with your cycle xx
-
Just a quick one from me. Just too busy.
SpringLola ~ that is so appalling - I felt like crying to reading that. Big hugs!! I think I would have walked out in tears, not paid and wouldnt have gone back. So I really give you huge congrats for being so strong and sticking to your guns! Good on ya hun. xo All the best - I have faith that it will work for you. Really show that DR/nurse up - would be very cool for that to happen
Hi to everyone and thinking of you all!
There are a few currently going through IVF cycles - wishing you all the very best, :crossfingers: and :bluedust::stickyvibesgirl:
AFM ~ same ol same ol really, think AF right on the door step - cramps and very low temp. Have FS appointment on Thursday and I have a lot of q's for him - what to do next.
-
Hi ladies, well after being 40 mins late for our appointment time this morning (even know i had to be there 3 hrs before the egg collection) all because of the traffic and wet weather we got stuck in which made us late i was so stressed but it all paid off, i got 20 eggs!!!!!! we cant believe it :) i got 15 last time but we didn't think we would get that many this time. I am bit sore and bleed a bit this time but sems to have stopped now. I was awake for the whole thing and was pretty unpleasent as it was preety painfull. We still havn't made our minds up about what day we are growing the embryo's to we are waiting till we hear tomorrow how many fertilise so fingers crossed we get a good number.
How did you go Tantee?? cant wait to hear xx
-
Springlola - I too would be writing a letter of complaint - send it to head office. Not sure who you are going through but they all have a 'boss' somewhere. They can have their opinion, sure, they can advise you, of course, but to have such a sensitive consultation in a waiting room is just.....I don't even know the word. It's unbelievable. You must be crushed. Come on ovaries, prove that bastard wrong!
Oneday - excellent news! Hope tomorrow brings great fertilisation numbers too.
Nic - my mild OHSS was exactly the way you described yours. I had never read the symptoms, but now I know the nurse must have been right. Took about 2 days as well. Good luck with jabbing.
Loops - hi!
AFM - had transfer today and all went well. Very bizarrely though they transferred a very good quality (they always say that, don't they) hatching blastocyst which was one of the ones they said hadn't fertilised. So, I thought I had 3 embies, but it turns out I have 7. They explained that the others would have fertilised before they check them for signs of fertilisation, so, the 2 dots they see inside the egg to show it has fertilised had already disappeared when they checked it the day after EPU. Does that make sense? Anyway, this one was the best of the lot, so I'm obviously hoping and praying that it works but trying to not cling too tightly to the dream.
-
Oneday, that is a fantastic result!! How are you feeling now? You can always rely on Syd traffic to add to the stress. Congrats on a great number.
Kaybee - Congrats on your transfer. I haven't heard of that scenario before. Just goes to show they must be super keen embies! Best of luck for your 2WW.
AFM - Epu today and we got 11 which was a pleasant surprise to me as I was told just before going in that we were looking at about 6 good follies. Feeling quite good, just really tired and had a nanna nap this afternoon. Hoping to get good fertilisation results as last time only 1 out of 4 fertilised (although I did get a bfp from that one) so we are using ICSI this time.
-
Oneday and tantee - congratulations with your collections - they both sound like good numbers :) Hope they do really well overnight
Kaybee - Weird! Haven't heard of that before. Hatching is a good start! Hope you're relaxing
Springlola - I'm so sorry you were treated that way. It's inconsiderate, insensitive, and telling you publicly has got to be a breach of doctor-patient confidentiality. I agree with Kaybee and oneday, write and complain. Good on you for sticking up for yourself, I doubt I would have been able to in the same situation. Hope the pick up is successful on Thursday
-
Kaybee thats great, my embryo last STIM cycle was starting to hatch and that was the one i got a BFP from, so goodluck.
Tantee thats a great result too! are you growing yours till day 5 os less? i think we are going to let ours grow to day 5 but will see how they are 2mo! your doing well not to be in any pain! its really uncomfortable for me to walk but i was pretty tender before EPU prob cause i had so many eggies in there! lol but i was sore last time too for 3 days. Iv taken tomorrow off work too to get lots of rest.
I cant wait to find out how many have fertilised, they said they may not find 20 good sperm to inject but i will be so ****ed off if they waist any! and apparently they dont freeze eggs??? i asked if there is eggs left over that they couldnt inject could we freeze the eggs and they said no they dont do that.
I hope everyone else is doing well xxx
P.s is there anything to cure OHSS? or just bed rest and a heat pack?
-
oneday - wow 20 is alot!! Hope you get some nice fertilisation results. As far as I know panadol, bed rest & heat packs for ohss - if its bad call your FS, as mine checked me out, did a scan and gave me some anti inflamatory pills
tantee - nice result, hoping you get good fert results too
kaybee - my last cyle I had one that had started to hatch as well and I got a BFP, so sounds like they are good one, fx for a stress free tww
loops - good luck with your fs appointment
Hi to everyone else!
-
thanks nicole, i think i may have it the pain isnt any better, i feel bloated and the pain is right up to my ribs and i feel really gassy. I think i may have had a bit of it last time too but i feel more sore this time. they wont cancel my transfer will they?
I will give the nurse a call xx
-
I just got the call for the scientist and im shattered, only 5 fertilised! they injected 16 but only 5 took off. Now more then ever i dont know what to do about the growth he said we can still grow them to day 5 but im so scared they will all die but then i dont know if i can do a day 2 transfer because i may have OHSS im so over this.
-
Oneday: I was just about to post my congrat's on great numbers..this is such a terrible decision to have to make..Ring your clinic and ask them to keep you posted about the development of you embies...5 is still a pretty good result, are you having 1 or 2 put back.
Kaybee: I have all my :crossfingers: for you..hope this is the one...that is really bizarre that they told you the others hadn't fertilised, maybe the apprentice was watching yours :o
Tantee: good luck with fertilisation, really good numbers too..I like the way you say 'a pleasant surpirse' made me giggle...pictured sipping tea oh what a pleasant surprise LMAO
Loops: Hopefully you can get some answers on Thursday...big day for both of us Thusrday.
Nicoleh: Good luck this cycle, when are you supposed to have EPU...
AFM: Well now that I have calmed down..a bit...now I'm starting to doubt my decision. DH says it was our last one anyway so either way we were going for it. Having the 'what if's ' today..thinking about all the things that can go wrong. Like they get no eggs and my ovaries explode, or they go for DH's biopsy and then we cant get the reversal because they stab them to hard lol (I know I know little bit melodramatic :shakehead: )
I know I will be shattered if I come out of the op to be told that NOTHING was retrieved..but I guess thats what I asked for.
Thanks so much ladies for all your kind words and support, it means alot that there are so many kind hearted people in here.
Well I'm off to google some more..and do my head in a bit more...and probably have a melt down....
But I'm okay ;)
-
Oneday - this whole process is so nervewrecking. 5 is still a good number, I really hope that they continue to thrive. When will they give you your next update? Are they going to take bloods to check your Estrogen levels, perhaps this will give them an indication as to the extent of your OHSS? I know a successful transfer ie pregnancy can increase OHSS symptoms. Don't forget to drink plenty of water. Big hugs to you at this stressful time, I really hope that all goes well for you and that you keep your spirits up on this tough journey
How is your jabbing going Nicoleh?
Thanks Kass.
AFM: Am waiting for 'the call'. Feeling good except that I am crazy tired, so will bum around on the lounge today watching TV.
-
Springlola - funnily enough... I was sipping tea - in recovery!!! I lived with my Grandparents for a number of years and spent nearly every holiday with them so do slip into grannyspeak from time to time.
I really hope that you have a successful epu and prove them wrong. You are not being melodramatic, it is natural to have all of these concerns, especially when we have such little control over the situation, but don't forget there is also a large scope for success.
I too am a google queen. I google the cr@p out of just about everything!
-
Hi everyone
Oneday Sorry to hear about your fertilisation results. The whole ivf process is such a rollercoaster ride. I really hope your embie's continue to grow. My FS nurse recommended drinking Gatorade to relieve the swelling in your belly. Hope you're feeling better soon and ready for the transfer.
Springlola I really hope this is the cycle for you so you can prove that inconsiderate Dr wrong.
Kaybee Glad you got some extra embies and good luck for the 2ww.
Tantee Congrats on an excellent number of eggs. It's always nice to get a pleasant surprise.
A great big hello to you all - Kass, Saffy, Aimee, LMM, Nicole, Loops, Alice and anyone else I've missed.
AFM I've got my first scan on Friday to measure the endo lining. I know from my last cycle I needed some extra days for it to reach the minimum thickness. Going by last time my transfer should be around the 14th Dec.
I've started acupuncture again and have really noticed the difference. Going to keep it up.
-
Thanks springlola, we are only putting one back this time i just hope we atleast have one or two by sunday the next 4 days is going to be so nervracking! Dont be worried i think you have made the right decision and like you said it was going to be the last time so you may aswell give it a go, best of luck xxx
Thanks tantee for your PM and post, the pain has eased a fair bit, sorry for TMI but i think alot of my bloating and pain was gas, now that i have got rid of alot im feeling heaps better, i have an appointment with my GP at 5 so think i will go just incase and get a cert for the day off 2mo too. The nurse said i may have a mild case of it but to just keep my fluids up and rest and if symptoms get worse go to the hospital.
Hey happybaby IVF def is a huge rollercoaster, DH and i felt so good yesterday with our result and now with only 5 fertilising we are both really dissapointed and terrified of what the next few days will bring. Goodluck with your scan and cycle xxx
Has anyone been in my situation with around 5 fertilising and growing them till day 5? how many survived?
-
Oneday here's a quick run down of my cycles - all were grown to Day 5.
1st Stim DownReg with 8 eggs
7 fert, 1 trans, 1 frozen
2nd Stim Antag with 7 eggs (this protocol was tried to get more eggs but was almost the same)
5 fert, 1 trans, 1 frozen
So I got 2 from each cycle. Best of luck and I'm sending positive thoughts to your little embies to grow strong.
-
Hey Ladies,
Oneday - it must feel like a bit of a let down after getting 20 eggs, but 5 fertilising is still a really good result. My first cycle (down reg) I think I got 17 eggs, 14 fertilised, 1 transferred and 9 frozen (it sounds like a lot but none of the frozen ones worked so I kind of wish there weren't so many to get through) and This cycle (antag) I got 10 eggs and 7 fertilised (not 4 like they initially said), 1 transferred and 6 frozen. So, after fertilisation the numbers didn't drop off. Remember to drink HEAPS of water. My nurse told me I could take panadeine as well, just not nurofen or aspirin. Hope you're feeling better hun
Might jump on later - need to have a little nanna nap xo
-
Hi oneday..... i got 15 eggs, 10 fertilised, 2 made it to blasts and i had one put back in and one frozen. The fresh one didnt work, but the subsequent transfer of the frozen one did!! So.....whilst it can often seem like you are "wasting" eggs, it only takes one to work!! I used to stress about so many not making it, but that is out of your hands, and the whole thing is stressful enough, so try not to worry!! Goodluck!!
-
busy week in here!!
Hello lovely ladies,
oneday, that sounds like a good result overall, though I am sure I would have expected higher than 5 too! I'll be crossing my fingers for you all week x
Springlola, I was shocked and upset to read about your experience - what a nasty and unprofessional piece of work!! :( absolutely disgraceful, I hope your complaint reaches someone who will respond accordingly. You did well to handle it the way you did and I am wishing you the very very best of luck with this cycle. Don't let the b*stards let you think negatively.
Sounding really good Tantee, I hope this is the one for you!
Kaybee, I love the visual of the 'hatching' blatocyst :) that sounds promising! And I know what you mean about the balance between being optimistic but not too convinced. Will do some extra hoping for you during your 2WW.
Loops, hope AF isn't too awful for you and best of luck with FS appt tomorrow!
Happybaby, so you could have a nice pressie by xmas :) good on you with the acu. I got lazy for a month and feel like it really took me a step back, so am booked in again for next week. How often do you go? And do you combine with herbs, or just needles?
Hi Nicoleh, hope all is going well with your jabs.
:hello: to Kass, Saffy, Aimee, JJ and anyone else I missed!! Hope everyone is going along well.
AFM, my first jab was a embarrassingly awful. First I cut my thumb open on the glass ampule when I opened it and had to get DP to remove glass with the tweezers  and then I got all flustered and teary and couldn't do the jab myself!! It was ok in the end and I actually didn't mind how it made/is making me feel at all. I slept almost all the way back to NSW and have felt very calm. I think I must have a serious hormone deficiency!! Anyway, another jab on Friday and then I will be half way through 2WW.
xx
-
Thanks ladies for your results, i too hope we get a few on sunday. Going back to work tomorrow, time just drags being at home thinking about everything but if im in too much pain i will go home. Tantee did you get your results on fertilisation?
-
Hi everyone
Sorry have been missing for a few days, have been really busy.
LMM - Oh dear, those glass ampules can be so tricky! Hope the next one goes ok!
Springlola - I'm so sorry for how you've been treated, but am glad you went through with it as at least you can say you tried, fx a pleasant surprise for you too!
Oneday - Ohh so sorry to hear about your drop off, he highs and lows are just horrid. My FS forced me to drink heaps of powerade even though I hated it and I found it really helpful with the OHSS.
Kaybee - Congrats on your transfer, hope all continues to go well!
Hi to Jayejaye, Happy baby, Tantee, nicole h and anyone else I've missed hope your cycles are all going well.
AFM - Oh my goodness, got a huge shock today, at my last scan I had 12 good sized follicles. Today when I came out of EPU noone could tell me how many eggs I had, what the? Is all they said was lots. Apparently I got 30 eggs! I have no idea how that happened, FS was a little freaked out and said I have to go back for a checkup before the weekend and that we might not make transfer because I have OHSS. Also, he did mention quite a few will be immature, but hopefully they will have a few good ones to work with. I guess I will find out tommorow how the ICSI went. I was so surprised to hear about OHSS as I haven't even bloated this time.
-
WOW aimee, 30 is huge! i think that it is possible to have more then one egg in a follicle? because i didnt have 20 and the nurse told me that some would be empty and wouldn't contain an egg. Good luck with your results xxx
AFM i still have some pain today, in my stomach and middle of my back and just a bit tender around my ovaries. Should i be concerned about this?
Started the crinone gel today, i foud it alot easier and less messy then the pessaries, i layed down for half an hr after even know i didn't have too but just so i get the best results from it and then when i got up nothing came out as with the pessaries as soon as i got up it was coming out.
-
Oneday - Sorry to hear that you are still not feeling great. Apparently your ovaries stay enlarged for quite a while and it's no wonder they're still sore after your collection. If you are still concerned though, I would ring the clinic and at least speak with one of the nurses. I hope it eases up for you soon. I was feeling great but overdid it a bit yesterday afternoon when I went to the Supermarket for just a couple of things. By the time I walked out of the shop, I was in quite a bit of pain so came home, took a panadol and layed down with a heat pack.
I got the call yesterday to say that 9 had fertilised, this has been my best result to date but my clinic does not check them again until day 3 so I will have to wait until tomorrow to see how many we're up to. I am trying not to think too much of it. (May have to distract myself with some retail therapy) I am going to start my crinone this morning too and although I don't need to, I'm going to take the 1/2 hour and lay down and read my book.
Aimee - Wow 30. How are you feeling today? Fingers crossed for you for some great fertilisation rates. Hopefully you can keep the OHSS at bay.
To everyone else, hope you are doing well!
-
Hi everyone
hope you are all going well
Tantee - such good fertilisation results! Enjoy the retail therapy hope its a good distraction!
Oneday - ouch, this is my 4th egg collection and the 1 that I over-stimmed with was heaps more painful than any of my other EPU's, to the point where it hurt to move, DH even made fun of me for watching kids programmes on TV but I was too sore to get up and get the remote lol. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Have been vomitting :( but am hoping that stops today so I can keep my fluids down.
Hope everyone is having a good day!
-
Tantee thats great results! i hope tomorrow brings more god news. Im so nervous about our results tomorrow, westmead too only check them day 1,3 and 5. I went to work and was ok still in a bit of pain but think i will be ok.
Aimee i hope you feel better soon, is there a reason why your vomiting? not from EPU i hope. How many of your embryo's fertilised? xx
AFM im a bit worried (i know i worry all the time lol) but heres my concern with my first STIM cycle my eggs were collected on day 14 of my cycle and TF was on day 19 of my cycle, after DTD (sorry for TMI) i sarted to spot on day 24 of my cycle which followed by a proper period.
This STIM i had EPU on day 19 of my cycle and TF will be on day 24 of my cycle! What if my period comes before, or just after TF and the embryo dosn't work? as each cycle AF has come a few days earlier then normal (my cycle is usually 28 days, so its only 4 days before im due). And the embryo usually does take 2-3 days to take, im just concerned with our situation this time with not many embies i will be devastated if i get it. Im really worried can anyone help?
-
Hi everyone
oneday and tantee - the scientists rang today, out of the 30, 22 were mature, 11 fertilised, out of the 11 left, 3 died after ICSI (i think they said arrested?) and 8 hadn't fertilised, but I'm not sure whether they will give them more time or not. Either way I am quite shocked as I have had problems with empty follicles and immature eggs in the past.
But I'm not sure whether or not they will let me have a transfer, the nurse was quite worried and said I have def over-stimmed, but I feel ok. Have to go in for a check up tomorrow. I think I was vomiting from the general anaesthetic. I had already had several doses of anti-nausea drugs at the hospital. I must be a cheap drunk because previously I have only had twilight and have not remembered a thing!
oneday - I can understand your worrying, I might be wrong so I would check with your FS at your transfer. My stim cycles have also varied in length but I still make it to around 14 days after ovulation while I'm on progesterone support. If I'm not on the progesterone I barely make it to 7 days after ovulation. I also spot after DTD and won't let DH anywhere near me in the 2nd week of the TWW. But I guess I understand what you're saying about worrying that your body will take over and AF will come early like it has before. But hopefully your crinone will support your luteal phase and you won't need to worry about any of this and you'll have a nice strong BFP asap!
-
Hi ladies
I had my scan today and my endo lining was only 5.4mm and needs to be 6mm before they schedule the transfer. So looks like it won't be until the end of next week or the beginning of the following week.
I hope those that have had EPU are recovering well. I know it's an anxious time wondering if the transfer is going to happen. Best of luck.
xx HB
-
Hi all,
So much for me staying away from here during the TWW!
Oneday - how are you going, you big stress-head  You worry almost as much as me! This time, I don't think you should be concerned though. Even though EPU was day 19 of your cycle you were jabbing up until then, so your body hadn't started the second phase of your cycle (is it call luteal phase?) until after your trigger and EPU which would be the equivalent of O in a normal cycle. So the time to count from is EPU not day 1 of your cycle. If you're worried though definitely call the nurse. Bring on our BFPs so we have a whole new set of issues to start worrying about!
Happy - bummer about your lining. Come on and fatten up endo!
Aimee - I hope you're over the worst of your OHSS. Keep skulling the water so your transfer can go ahead.
Tantee - great results so far! Hope they keep on doing the right thing FX
AFM - trying to be nonchalant about the possibility of a bub growing inside me. I hope it's still there - hanging on tight, but who knows. I hate waiting. I've never been much of a POASer until last cycle - when is the earliest you guys usually test? Wish I could get my mind off things. Haven't been too up or down yet. Sorry - I know this all belongs in the TWW thread but there's no-one I know in there. Anyone want to join me there?
-
Hi Ladies
Just another quick one from me.
Aimee ~ I hope you are feeling better soon, but well done on such great results. Goodluck, FX'd
Oneday ~ thinking of you and  that everything works out for you!
Also thinking of you all stiming and in the TWW, really hoping to see some BFP's real soon, goodluck to all and :pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy:
AFM ~ FS appointment went well yestie, he wants us to get blood tests for a few different things and looks like we will probably have another go in May. Will be  for a miracle in the mean time however. I hope the tests bring something up so we know what we can fix. He also said he wants us to go back to the long cycle instead of doing Antagonist - feels that will be better for us but he will up the dose of Puregon etc TO 450iu to try and get more eggs that way.
:grouphug:
-
Hi ladies...
Looks like there is heaps happening in here at the moment.
Loops: May isn't that far away really, although it may feel like it now....but miracles have been know to happen, at least you'll have more answers too.
Kaybee: We can go off to the TWW thread together..and go mental together LOL..I'll meet you there tomorrow
Happybaby: do you do acupunture, I've been doing it for the last couple of cycle and my lining was fabulous this time, might be worth a try.
Aimee: Thats huge numbers, I hope everything works out and they let you transfer :)
Tantee: Thats great numbers, hope it stays that way too :D
lmmountain: Hope your feeling much betfer now, and half way through the TWW, you lucky thing:clap:
AFM: Had epu on Thursday, they got 3 eggs, got the call today that one has fertilised so I'm off to transfer tomorrow..:crossfingers:...I'm pertified ...
Good luck ladies...I'm off to the TWW thread...Scary Scary
-
Good luck Springlola. Yes I had my second session of acupuncture tonight. I did it with my last FET cycle too and figured I should give it another go seeing as I got a BFP last time and it's very relaxing too.
I told my therapist about the lining being a little thin and she concentrated on my uterus and put four small jumper lead like connectors on some of the needles to stimulate them even more. Must say it's wiped me out and I'm off to bed. Hope my lining is growing nice and fluffy as my FS says.
Anyway have a great weekend everyone.
-
Hey guys
Can I join in here?
Have just started my first cycle of IVF.
Have been on puregon 200 but got a call from the clinic to increase that to 300 tomorrow.
Had my first scan today...6 follicles on left ovary ranging from <1.0cm to 1.3cm. Right ovary was in hiding so they didn't see anything as yet.
How does that all sound? I find it hard to get an indication from the clinic whether it's on track or not...
-
hey ladies, well yesterday was an eventful day, i was at the napeon hospital from 8am-9pm with my sister in labour so im now a proud aunty again to a little boy! great day but makes you want it even more!
TF is tomorrow! im trying not to stress and not think about it. we got a text yesterday saying the embies are growing well and on track so is there still 5!!! i hope there is a few. Iv has some what feels like period cramping but i know this could be from the crinone and injections? well i hope thats what it is! still a little tender, its taking me forever to recover! Sorry for TMI but being my first time on the crinone i dont know, iv started to notice there is some crinone when i wipe going to the toilet so when in the shower are we supposed to clean it out up there? or just leave it? sorry
Goodluck happybaby and kaybee, whens your BT kaybee?
Springlola im glad you got some eggs, lets hope this little one sticks xxx
Moonie goodluck and welcome! not sure what that is in size compared to mine cause they told me mine in mm i think, they said they should be around 17mm before you trigger to release them.
-
Hi Ladies,
Congratulations oneday - were you in the room with your sister when she delivered? Wow! All the best for tomorrow - hope everything goes smoothly FX FX
Monnie - Hi and welcome - may your stay be short and sweet (if you know what I mean). Your scan seems fine - maybe go back through this thread to see what others have had. Things can change a lot from the first scan. I think I had a few more at my first scan (maybe 6 or 7 on each side). I guess they've increased your dose either to get more follicles or help the ones that are there get bigger. Everyone will tell you though that the number doesn't matter - it's the quaility that counts. All the best!
Happybabby - Jumper leads!!! Wow - that outta do it. I love acu too, but haven't been able to afford it this cycle (oh poor me boo hoo LOL).
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend
-
Hi Lovely Ladies
SpringLola ~ thanks hun, yeh I think May will come round pretty quick, esp with Xmas and New Yr and lots happening in January. We were going to wait longer but the FS said dont put it off too long if you can help it. (I wonder whether he just wants the money though - I dont think he' that sort of person however). So happy for you you finally have a transfer. Will :crossfingers: very tight for you that its a real sticky one!
Monnie ~ :welcome: All the best with the IVF for #2! Sounds pretty good so far - I think I had about the same follies my first go and I hope you have some others catch up. I think anywhere from 10mm to 20mm is a good size. but the closer to 20 the better - but you still have a few days for them to grow - esp with them ^dosage. Goodluck, FX'd for you!
Habbybaby ~ goodluck!
Oneday ~ Congrats on the birth of your nephew. My sis is due mid Jan and I can't wait!
Its pretty normal for lots of Crinone to come out. I think most of it must stay up there but I know - it feels though it wouldnt be working because so much comes out. I think it'd be fine to wipe clean a fair bit. How good is it that we can talk about this stuff with each other and not be embarrassed - its great because we all go through the same thing. All the best for tomorrow, :crossfingers: xo
Kaybee ~ thanks and hope you have a lovely weekend as well

Thanks Kaybee and Loops :) i was in there right up until she started to push, i was supposed to be in there for the whole thing but her hubby decided he wanted it to just be the two of them, which is fair enough, when my time comes it will only be me and DH. This site is great Loops, i would be lost without it not having anyone to talk to or ask questions that know what im going through.
Enjoy the rest of your weekends ladies, im cooking a baked dinner for my DH :)

No hope at catching up on all the events of the last week so will just wish you all :goodluck::goodluck: for your various epu's, transfers, twws and bfps!!
Springlola- O.M.G.- I told you he was a pr*ck!! Well, I won't dwell on that only say :confetti: WOOHOO for your transfer- hope you are flat on your back resting up and good luck for your tww- don't be scared, be excited girlfriend!
Congratulations Aunty oneday!! Don't worry about the crinone, it does come out a fair bit.
Welcome Monnie-I think someone told me once the follies are expected to grow 2mm a day, don't know if that helps or if its even accurate! So when are you having another scan? They need to be near 20mm but I'm sure I had some that were counted and were around 12 or 14mm, can't remember actually. Good luck anyway!
Happybaby- hope the lining is getting fluffy- rest up hon!
Loops- glad you have a plan, praying for a miracle in the meantime for you x
Kaybee-fingers crossed for you- I tested at 9dp5dt on my acupuncturists advice, hope your tww isn't too bad x
Hi to everyone else I can't do anymore persies as too tired from gardening all day. Hi everyone
Oneday - congratulations on being an aunty again, wow so special being with your sister through labour too, but a bitter sweet time aswell. Hopefully it will be your turn this month! Glad things are looking great for your transfer tomorrow, once the crinone turns to "cottage cheese" (sorry tmi) I try to get rid of it otherwise it seems to accumulate.
Kaybee - hope the TWW isn't dragging too much for you!
Springlola - yay for transfer, fx over the next 2 weeks
Loops - hope you get some answers from your tests!
Welcome Monnie! Hope your follies are growing nice and fat
Happy Baby - hope your lining is thickening up nicely too!
Tantee - sorry I lose track of everyone in here, have you had your transfer yet?
Hi jayejaye, saffy, nicoleh, and lmm, hope you are all well!
afm - I saw my FS on Friday, he couldn't believe I was ok, he said he thought I would be waddling in hunched over in pain, but said I could have my transfer on Monday! yay! since then though my stomach has bloated I look about 6 months pregnant and will probably have to avoid going out in public for a while!
I was just giving myself a lecture today because I didn't start my progesterone on time!!!!! But then I read my instructions again and one said to start after transfer and one said to start the day after EPU. I started tonight and transfer is Monday, I hope I haven't jeopardised my lining:wall:
Hugs to everyone - hope your cycles are all going well fx for some strong bfp's!!!
