Saffy congrats :happyforyou: thats so exciting! I wish you a happy, healthy 10 months xxxx
Litllemisssunshine, the injections are done by ourselves its not as scary as it sounds, goodluck with everything, fingers crossed! xx
ehm im so glad your feeling a bit better, chocolate always does the trick :) be kind to your self xx
Kaybee im glad the info helped, they are great levels and i look forward to hearing how you go xx
AFM- start puregon tonight!!!!!!!
-
Congratulations Saffy!!!
Kaybee - thanks, that makes sense :)
Oneday - One step closer! Hope this round goes really well for you fx!
lmm - hope your bt's match where you should be! Try not to worry about the injections - they're really not so bad - good luck!
ehm - glad you're feeling better :) Are you thinking of going again soon or taking a break?
Loops - hope you're not too all over the place - that must be so annoying
afm - levels are going down very slowly, I didn't realise it would take this long. Bt today showed it's only gone down 15 since last week - does that seem right? Feeling pretty flat at the moment. Don't know if I want to push through with another or take a break.
-
Yay!!! Saffy..its looking fabulous...now all you need to find out if there are 1 or 2 ...congrat's...:happyforyou:
Oneday: I'm off to clinic tomorrow to get my drugs. Start jabbing tomorrow night. Surely this has to work...surely..:crossfingers:
Kass: I think the waiting is the hardest part..I feel your pain, its horrible when your body wont do what its supposed to..pick yourself up and start again is all we can do :)
littlemissmountain: I love my acupunture, feel like I've got over the cancelled cycle quicker and got the drugs out of my system quicker too.
Kaybee: I'm doing my first Antagonistic cycle this time too..you watch I bet my body goes the other way and I hyper stimulate :wall: LOL
Hi Alice and Loops..and everyone else I've missed.
AFM: Start injections tomorrow night for Antagonistic cycle. This is it for us, we figure 3 times is enough, if its cancelled this time we're out..I'll buy some more ponies and fill my life with them...Have SIL down from QLD atm, and 3yo little miss, right now after her screaming for an hour after dinner not sure I'm prepared for another child. I dont remember my kids doing that ever..or maybe I sent them to bed..I feel like a grumpy old Aunty today..
Hope everyone is happy and healthy and getting lots of sunshine!!!
-
:p CONGRATULATIONS SAFFY!! :p That's the best best best news - well done!! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and looking forward to hearing your updates :bellyrubs: xxooxxoo :cheer: :bluecheer:
-
Saffy - that is great news, very happy for you - when do you have to test again?
Everyone else - sounds like you are all going well with your jabbing, hope you all get a great haul of top notch eggs!
afm - I saw FS today and I am right to go for round 4 in Dec, I started provera today and am on it for 14 days then wait for af and start jabbing (atagonist cycle again), I am slowly recovering from the whooping cough and hope I will be much better by the time epu comes around. The only thing diff this cycle is she wants me to use clexane from et.
-
Wow sprinlola we arn't far off each other either :) im glad i will have some buddies with me in the 2ww thread! And yes thei will be it for both of us! it's our turn we need some more BFP's in here!!
Nicole thats great news :) i hope all goes really well for you andf its your time too xxxx
AFM im just happy today, getting excited about xmas and the arrival of my 2nd nephew very soon! Just a question, what dose of pregon or gonal-f is everyone on thats jabbing at the moment? Im on 125 puregon just wanted to know if its average, i think i was on 175 gonal-f last stim but then was dropped twice because i was getting too stimulated so they put me on a lower dose to hopefully rise at a good pace. xxxx
-
Just popping to say congratulations Saffy. You must be so excited.
All the best for the next 9 months.
xx HB
AFM Still no sign of AF showing up but I have about 9 days until it's too late to do the transfer.
-
hope everyone is having a good day!
Loops, I only just scrolled up and saw your comment to me earlier, thank you :) glad to be in the right place! I just hope everyone will forgive me for not getting very technical about all the processes and meds which I don't understand...
but I am sure I will learn something from you all.
BTW Loops, you live right near my Mum! I am coming down that way next week... very excited :leap:
Springlola, I know... acupuncture (and shiatsu!) ROCK.
HB, I hope AF shows up soon!
Kass I hope your levels are where they should be, hard not to get flat amongst all of this sometimes
Ehm, I think I'll have to make chocolate cake too :)
everyone else, thanks for your encouragement and hope all is well.
I was just on the phone to my FS clinic before and got a different chick on the phone who was SUPER helpful :) The other one I have dealt with is always rushed and kind of dismissive (sucks when you're interstate and feel totally disconnected), so I am stoked that I found this other person. She has given me her direct number, so that should make my life easier!
xx
-
Oneday - Everyone responds differently, but I think 125iu of Puregon is quite low. I was started on 150, which was increased to 300, and my last two cycles have been 450. Happy jabbing!
LMM - Welcome, and best of luck with this cycle!
Happybaby - I hope AF shows up for you soon, and you can do a transfer before Christmas.
Nicoleh - I hope you are feeling better, and that is fantastic news that you can do another cycle before the end of the year. I hope it all goes well for you. FX'd!
Springlola - good luck with your antagonist cycle. I prefer them to the down reg, even with the extra jabbing!
Kass - Thanks for your message. We have decided to take a break until early next year. Although I could technically fit another in, I can't quite face it physically or emotionally right now. We will go again as soon as we can in the New Year. It's a tough choice though, as part of me wants to just keep going now until we find an embie that works. I am sure you will make the right decision for you about whether to go again or take a break.
Kaybee - Hope your jabbing is going well. Best of luck for this cycle!
Hi to Alice, Loops and anyone else I've missed.
AFM: Was diagnosed with coeliac today, just to top it all off! I had a gastroscopy with biopsy a couple of months ago, and only just got the results. Might explain the infertility in part, but still not holding my breath for it to resolve things as I had some pelvic surgery when I was quite young and my FS did a laparoscopy earlier this year and said I had very "unusual anatomy". Both he and another specialist said I would need IVF to conceive (I know miracles still do happen!), but the coeliac might explain the failure to implant. Will discuss with FS on Monday.
-
Saffy - Yay!!! C0NGRATULATIONS! Ahhhh - that's me breathing a giant sigh of relief for you. When do you test again?
Oneday - I'm on 150 gonal f. They were going to decrease it because things were moving quite quickly but for some reason they said to keep it at that. So, it's not too different to yours.
LMM - Glad you found someone nice at your clinic. I hate hearing about the horrible ones - what are they doing working somewhere like that if they can't be sensitive and helpful? Your naturopath sounds really good. I haven't seen one this cycle - it sounds awful but she was too far away from the clinic and it took nearly the whole day to see both. Send some of your positive vibes this way! ;)
Kass - how are you going? My levels were really slow to go down when I was in a similar boat to you. It's awful, I know. Big hugs to you sista xx
Today my E2 was 3000 and I had about 14 follies - most were pretty small but one was bigger. I've seen in here that you can have problems if one gets a lot bigger than the others. No no no, I hope this goes smoothly.
Good luck to all of us FX FX FX
-
Thanks ladies :) i have my first blood test on tues so we will see how things are going i guess.
ehm im sorry to hear you got more bad news :( but i saw a thing on today tonight about women with celiac disease that were unable to concieve but once they went on a celiac diet they fell within months, i hope this is the case for you too xxxx
Kaybee i have everything crossed for you, when is your EPU? xx
-
Hi Lovely Ladies
Firstly: YAY Saffy ~ :leap: Very :happyforyou: Goodluck and FX'd the lil one snuggles in nice and tight and that the P4 starts going up too.
Kaybee ~ Goodluck with EPU and DH doing his sample. My DH does it at the clinic too and he is getting used to it. Doesnt find it too bad so hopefully your DH wont either.
ehm ~ glad you're feeling a bit better. Its good that at least you know you have that and you can fix the issue and hopefully then find it easier to finally get your miracle! I think i might like to have that test too. Might look into it.
LMM ~ goodluck over the weekend and with your BT, will have FX'd for you everything goes well. Yes do all my own needles - I dont find them too bad at all. Your welcome and Im sure everyone will be able to help you and give you advice along the way.
Oneday ~ all the best with the jabbing and FX'd for a great cycle! I think I started on 125 Puregon but then increased because for me it didnt work well enough.
Kass ~ (((GBH))) Looks like you nearly got there so dont give up hun wont be long until you can try another cycle and next time it will stick properly! I know how annoying it is waiting but I reckon it will only take another couple of weeks for the HCG to go completely - hang in there, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
SpringLola ~ All the best with this last cycle hun, hopefully last time lucky !
nicoleh ~ so pleased you can have another try this year, FX'd for you hun!
habbybaby ~ Goodluck with your transfer, hope all goes well!
Hi to anyone ive missed and hope everyone is well.
True ~ if you are out there - hoping everything is ok and hope to catch up soon xoxo!
AFM ~ just busy with life, work etc but in a natural TWW I guess. Trying not to think about it too much and looking for signs etc. I have FS appointment on Dec 2nd and will be asking lots of questions about why IVF/ICSI may not be working. Looking forward to tomorrow - free VIP tickets to Lee Kernaghan at Bonnie Doon because my DH is in his new film clip "Dirt" which just aired on Country Music Channel. DH is doing circlework in the background in his red one-tonner Ute - pretty exciting! :)
-
Hi girls- internet was off for a couple of days so had BB withdrawls!
oneday- good luck for tues! I was initially on 225 puregon- it did jack-sh*t for me, so next cycle I went up to 375 which worked- you're obviously an over achiever tho lol- so are on a lower dose.
Kaybee- someone on one of the other threads had a 'lead follicle' and she was stressing about it but is now 20wks pregnant- so it can still work! Hope the other little ones catch up!
ehm- thats a shame about the coeliacs- i hope the treatment can assist with getting pregnant though.:hug:
littlemissmountain- sorryI have been self absorbed lately so 'welcome':hello: and I have been meaning to tell you I think you are more than welcome here and it is an appropriate place for you to post- we will get you up to speed with our abbreviations lol!
happybaby-thanks hun
nicoleh- glad you are squeezing another cycle in before the end of the year- best of luck for a new year bfp!
springlola- luckylast cycle!! Are you on the same dose? I seem to remember you were on the highestdose last time?? I hope it works x
kass- thats a shame- why are our bodies so against doing what we want?? I can understand why you are feeling flat, look after yourself hun xx
Loops- hope AF is staying away xx
AFM- sorry for being a psycho in here lately, I feel like i am always being negative. Well, spotting from wednesday has turned into bleeding and last time I checked its almost bleeding at AF level :wall: plus have had painful cramps constantly. Not feeling very positive but will wait and see what happens. Just phoned the clinic but the nurse hasn't rung back, I don't really want a BT anyway, will wait til next week I think. Why can't my body do anything right?? I guess I'd rather m/c now instead of further down the track.
Thanks for the support girls, I would be lost without you all xx
-
loops we posted at the same time-good luck at FS, has DH started his new job??
-
Hi everyone
Am just starting my first ICSI cycle with new FS and wanted to say hi. Am really nervous after my last ICSI cycle ended in ectopic. I didn't cope well with synarel last time so am trying orgalutran this month.
Hope everyone's cycles are going well!
-
Hi Aimee - welcome and good luck for this cycle! I'm not a fan of the synarel either - hope the orgalutran works better for you :)
Saffy - I hope that everything is going ok for you  It's so hard being in limbo with results. I really hope your next bt has your levels where they should be :crossfingers:
Loops - enjoy the show tomorrow - sounds like fun!
Oneday - my puregon dose has only been 100 for all three of my collections and I've had pretty consistent results - try not to worry about it being too low, everyone responds differently!
Kaybee - 14 follies sounds promising! I'm sure the smaller ones will catch up soon
ehm - sorry to hear about your diagnosis - what a pain. But like others have said getting it under control could make the difference - hope you get some positive feedback from your fs next week
Hi Alice, littlemissmountain, Nicoleh, spring lola, happybaby and anyone I've missed - hope you're all going well
-
:hello: everyone and welcome Aimee :) I hope this cycle goes well for you.
Ehm, though a blow at first, maybe it's good to have a name which might answer some things. And as others have said, the change in diet (or meds) could make ALL the difference. I hope so.
Saffy thank you :) and don't worry I think we all probably feel a bit negative when posting a lot of our updates  but it IS such a rollercoaster that the downs have to be expected as well as the ups!
Loops, the clinic faxed me through proper instructions for the shots and I felt a lot better about it after that. But it doesn't look like I will be jabbing this week now :( which I will elaborate on in a sec.
Kaybee, I know what you mean, I didn't see my acupuncturist at ALL last month because it just wasn't convenient with my schedule (and sometimes I just can't part with the $$!) But she always lifts my spirits a bit and makes me feel calmer.
Oneday, hope your BT on Tues has great results :crossfingers:
Sadly, my BT results yesterday were hopeless and the FS called me to say that I should have another BT on Monday and then we will reassess. I knew something was off, as temps have been lower than usual and no EWCM which is unheard of for me by CD11. Anyway, she said that if Mondays results are bad she is going to fax me a script for Clomid. Don't know if that would be instead of or as well as the Pregnyl but will just wait and see. Felt horribly sorry for myself last night but just kept telling myself to put it in perspective (and "suck it up Princess!!!!") Others are in much more difficult positions than me and sometimes I think I just need to toughen up :boohoo:
hope everyone else is doing well and you all have great plans for the weekend :grouphug:
-
Loops good luck for you on your natural 2ww!!!! xx
Saffy, thats crazy you didnt respond to that high dose but everyone is different and responds differently. Im looking forward to seeing what my levels are like on tues! Im so sorry about AF but keep positive as you got a positive result so things could still be ok xxxxx
Welcome Aimee :) i hope this cycle goes well for you, fingers crossed xx
Thanks Kass that makes me feel better! i will be ok once i know my levels are ok on tues and i must respond well as i did on 175 gonal-f last time which isn't really that high compared to some ladies doses in here. How are you going? xx
Littlemissmountain sorry about the BT!! how frustrating! i have my fingers crossed for a better result on monday xx
AFM still just jabbing but gosh my lucrin injection hurt last night! some times i can barely feel it and other times it really stings! i havn't really bruised this time only a few little ones. Im starting to feel bit tender around my ovaries so im hoping it means my eggs are growing nicely :)
-
Hi girls-
oneday- thats a good sign ( the ovaries feeling tender) on my cancelled cycle I couldn't feel a thing and on my successful cycle I had the same feeling so they must be growing well! GL x
LMM-goodl uck for BT today- it is disappointing when things don't go as planned so I hope you get a nice surprise today xx
Aimee- welcome and sorry you had an ectopic- that must have been devastating-wishing you better luck with this cycle x
Hi Kass, Loops, springlola, kaybee, ehm, nicoleh, happybaby and anyone else xx
:crying:- I'm shattered to report that I have miscarried/gotten AF over the weekend and am almost 100% sure I'm not pregnant anymore. Had heavy bleeding and pain, poas yest was almost no second line, BT not til Wed but it will just be a formality.
Its such a kick in the guts to not only have an AF but for her to be so painful and long :wall:
I feel like I'll never have a baby, I've called in sick to work today- I can't face it ( I'm a mdiwife).
And now I won't be able to do another cycle til next year :crying:
-
Oh Saffy I'm so sorry to hear you've had a mc. Yes it's so unfair for this to happen to you. I know how you feel about never being a mum.
Good on you for taking the day off and I hope you're resting and taking some time out for yourself.
My thoughts are with you today.
xx HB
-
Saffy ~ so sorry hun, I feel your pain. :comfort::hug: It is a big kick in the guts. I hope you're feeling better soon and can move forward from here. Never give up hope xo
-
-
Saffy I am so very to hear your news :(
It's just so hard and I hope you will start to recover from the experience soon. NOT fair!
sending you lots of  and thinking of you
xx
-
Saffy :( im sorry! as if IVF isn't hard enough without us going through miscarriages as well! I was devastated after mine but the one positive thing to come from it is that i thought i am one step closer to my proper BFP and it was also good for me to see i can actually fall pg! I hope your ok and im glad you had today off as your job is one like mine where you can never seem to escape the pain xxxxxx
-
Saffy, I was really sad to hear your news   Take care, and I hope you can try again soon xoxo
-
Hi everyone thankyou for the welcome
Saffy so sorry to hear about your loss:hug:, be gentle with yourself
-
Oh Saffy so very sorry this happened...:grouphug:...it is just not fair.
Bring on 2011 and your BFP...
-
Saffy I hope you're feeling better today. As oneday said a BFP is a step closer to a baby. I used to feel so disappointed with my mcs especially after the extra effort it took us to get a BFP. But now I do feel closer to acheiving the goal and I'm more determined than ever to keep trying.
AF turned up last night so I'm able to fit in our last FET. It's a HRT FET and I've started taking Progynova. I'm very nervous about putting myself through this again.
Best of luck to everyone in their cycles. Lets have some more BFPs in here for Christmas.
-
Hey Chicks,
I have been so busy lately and DH has been hogging the computer so I've only had time to pop in and have a quick read without replying.
Saffy - what a devastating end to your cycle. I hope you are being very kind to yourself - can you book in for some pampering somewhere? So sorry :comfort:
Loops - Where are you up to in your TWW? I'll have to google your DHs filmclip - how funny!
ehm - You must be getting bombarded with information after getting your diagnosis. I know it must suck, but if that is what has been causing your infertility then hopefully your problems will be over very soon. Good luck with the gluten free diet and your next cycle
Aimee - hello. Sorry to hear about your ectopic - that must be so rare with ivf/icsi. All the best for this cycle. I have never used orgalutran, but I hope it goes easy on you.
LMM - Don't feel like a princess for having a whinge. I know it feels really selfish sometimes because there is always going to be someone who is worse off than you/me/us, but it doesn't mean we can't still desperately want a baby and whinge about it when it doesn't happen (yet again). Anyway, hope your results improve this week.
Oneday - twingy ovaries - how exciting!! Mine have been pretty tender too and scans have shown it's all happening in there, so it must be a good sign FX
Happybaby - good luck on the HRT FET. I agree that it's a really anxious time starting a new cycle. Hope this is IT for you
And everyone else - hope you are going well with your jabbing, sniffing, waiting, etc
AFM - my scans and E2 levels are all looking good so EPU is this Thursday. Trigger tonight. DH and I have been thinking that this cycle might be our last - whatever the results. I can't keep doing this indefinitely. I hope it works, but need to move on if it doesn't.
Well lovely ladies, hope you're having a good day xx
-
Hi Lovely Ladies
Kaybee ~ All the best for Thursday hun, will have FX'd tight for you for some great eggies. Thanks for asking about my TWW. AF should be due very soon but knowing my body after these stims it could be another two weeks away or more. Really hard to say. Im trying not to think about it all too much. Just enjoying life as much as poss. Def do the same if youre feeling that way inclined if this one doesnt work. Even if its just a break for a few months - I think we need that step back sometimes because this certainly does take a toll on the emotions and relationships etc. Goodluck though hun, hope you dont have to worry about any of that and instead get to worry about morning sickness, sleepless nights etc LOL. The film clip is on Utube. Song is called "Dirt". Its pretty raunchy LOL
habbybaby ~ goodluck with you FET, FX'd for a BFP christmas present.
Aimee ~ hi and welcome. Sorry I must have missed you. Goodluck with lucky no 3!
Hi to all and hope everyone is well. Group hugs
-
Saffy - I popped on today to catch up and I am so sorry to hear what happened, as everyone else has said its just not fair. Big hugs to you, if there is anythign I can do or you want to chat just pm me.
hi to everyone else, hope all your cycles are going well
-
Well i had my blood test today and my E2 is over 4000 :o! i really respond to this stimulation stuff im only on 125 puregon a night. So im going down to westmead tomorrow for my ultrasound so i have my fingers crossed so tight that everything will be ok, if my levels are where they should be do you think egg collection will be monday/tuesday next week or earlier? Im so excited but nervous for the results, im hoping everything will be ok, a cycle wouldnt get cancelled due to being a little high would it?
Kaybee goodluck for thursday and im glad everything is looking good :) yay we will be in the 2ww wait together, are you having day 3 or 5 embies put back in? And i know what you mean about giving up if it dosn't work again, i think about how much we would go through before we give up but im keeping positive, this will be the one for you and me :) xxxx
-
Oneday & Kaybee: Looks like we'll be in the TWW together ..well thats if my body can work out what to do ..Good luck for your scans, hope you get some juicy follies as Saffy calls them :D
Loops: Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things. I'm off to watch the raunchy video. I feel you frustration, my body does whatever it damn well pleases on these drugs and coming off them. You must be feeling better for it.
Ehm: I guess now you can start putting that part of the puzzle together now and get your body in tip top to a sticky bub...big changes ahead but its good you know now, as hard as it is.
Aimee: I'm doing an angtagonistic too this cycle, hopefully it works for you too.
Happybaby: Looks like there will be plenty of us in the TWW before christmas, hope Santa is good to us all this year..I've been sooooo good LOL
Saffy: How are you mate..been thinking of you lots..hope your little miracle on 42nd street happens today with your bloods...I was on the highest dose of puregon last time and this time..well see ???
Hi to everyone else I've missed.
AFM: Bloods and ultra sound on Friday, still feel like nothing is happening down there. We are going ahead with whatever is there...if anything.
Starting to feel a bit festive..not long now til the tree goes up...
I LOVE CHRISTMAS
-
Hi girls- thanks for the messages, it helps a lot x :grouphug:
oneday-well done on your levels- good luck for scan today, don't know about cycles geting cancelled for being too high- only if you get ohss?? Not sure really.
kaybee- good luck for epu- I hope you only need to do this cycle- cos you get a beautiful bfp!
happybaby- thats good about the FET- I wonder why some people do the natural FET and some the HRT?- I will have to ask the FS.
springlola- how are you going mate? Have you started jabbing? (sorry I've lost count of where everyone is up to)- hope its going well x
Loops-glad you are enjoying life, i am looking forward to a christmas season of getting drunk ( rather be UTD and abstaining but hey, may as well make the most of it) does the stim cycle stuff up AF's arrival?
hi to Aimee, nicoleh (thanks hun), ehm, littlemissmountain, kass
AFM- off for BT today, have been bleeding and cramping constantly til last night and then suddenly it stopped- thank god! Will book in for FS as well. Feeling better today, might take next week off and go to Adelaide for the week as DH will be there for work.
Hope everyone has a good day x
-
Hi ladies :) yay springlola goodluck for friday! i bet there is some juicy follicles growing!
Saffy how did you go today? im glad your starting to feel a bit better and going away sounds like a great idea xx
AFM had my ultrasound today and the reason for high E2 levels is due to lots of follicles growing, i had one at size 22 but the rest are only around the 10-11 mark (need to be around 17 before trigger) so not ready yet so im going back to the clinic on sat for another scan, looks like EPU will be mon/tues will know on sat after scan. Im excited and nervous and a bit bummed they wern't ready yet as EPU would have been on friday! but anyways im sure mon/tues will come around quick enough.
Now i have a very important question to ask you all, what is everyone thoughts on embryo age, westmead like to use day 2 for fresh cycles and day 3 for frozen, my other clinic they were all grown to the blastists stage. The nurse said i can discuss this with the scientist on EPU day going off the quality of the sperm and eggs but not sure how to make the decision, she said they have had alot of success with day 2/3 ones but my concern is with my first STIM i got 15 eggs, 10 fertilised and then 6 died off over the next 4 days (so i only got 4 embryo's) so if they put a day 2/3 back how are we to know if it is an embryo that would have failed over the next few days if they were to grow them longer? Im sorry to blabber on but im finding it hard to know what to do?
-
Hi Ladies. Just testing whether my new iPhone app works...,,
-
Apparently it does, but I now can't read anyone's posts while I am typing.
Hope you are all well, and good luck to everyone coming up to EPU and transfer. Hope we get some Christmas babies in here soon!
Saffy, how did your test go? Hope you are doing okay.
Oneday, in terms of embryo age I think you have a higher chance with a blastocyst, but the downside is you don't get as many embryos. They don't yet know whether an embryo that didn't make it to blastocyst would have survived if it was transferred earlier. The benefit of blastocyst is it might reduce 'time wasting' with non-viable embryos. I did a blastocyst at my last transfer, but I am wondering whether I might revert to day three for the next one for the psychological benefit of having a transfer and potentially some embryos to freeze. My FS will only do blastocyst if there are enough embryos. At the end of the day I think it's s personal choice. Sorry for my rambling on the topic.
AFM: Saw the FS on Monday, and it was not the conversation I was expecting. Apparently the eggs degenerated due to infection by a bacteria that was picked up from me at the EPU. He has never seen this before!! He is recommending the same protocol with a course of strong antibiotics ahead of any future EPU. That's twice now he has told me he's never seen anything like it before - apparently I am very unique and complicated! Am week one of my gluten free diet. It's not so bad and really hoping it makes a difference with the next cycle. Aim to get my body in shape by then.
-
Morning ladies
Oneday ~ What ehm said is correct - blastocycts are supposed to be better quality and with less than 5 days they dont actually know what the qualtity of the embryo is like. Ive now had two blastocycts transferred the 2nd of which implanted but then failed at 5weeks or so but then the last transfer we did was two 4 day embryos. So that did get me thinking, perhaps the 4day embies werent good enough quality??? So personally even though we still didnt get any to freeze and have to do another stim - I want to do blastocyct again because Id rather have a greater chance than getting hopes up with a 3 or 4 day, if ya get me. But in saying all this - Ive heard lots of people have gotten BFP's from a 3day. Whatever your decision I'll have FX'd tight for you. Goodluck.
SpringLola ~ thanks hun. Did you watch the video LOL? Goodluck on Friday, :crossfingers:! I love Christmas too - looking forward to it!
Saffy ~ same here hun, would rather be celebrating being PG with family and friends rather than getting drunk but because Im not PG I'll def. be getting drunk LOL. Hugs though - I know it will be tough xo. Yeh my body always stuffs up with the meds but in a couple of months it should be back to normal.
Enjoy your time up at adelaide xo
ehm ~ Unique can be good hun ;) Hope they can make sure it doesnt happen again. Goodluck with the bod, Im on weight watchers trying to get mine in shape for summer and just to help me feel better and it seems to be working :)
Kaybee ~ thinking of you today and hoping you get some great eggies, :crossfingers:
hi to nicole, LMM, Kass, habbybaby, True, Aimee and anyone else I may have missed, hope you are all well xo
AFM ~ I think AF is just about here, Im at CD30 today, my cycles are normally about 34 days but I think it could come anytime soon due to the meds. Ive got quite a few AF type signs right now. Have FS appointment next Thursday so that will be good - lots of q's to ask him for the future.

Loops- yeah bring on the alcohol- I had a glass of champagne last night and was off my face, so don't think I will be indulging much-haha, have lost my ability. Good luck next wek at Fs, it s good to know you can ask all your questionsx
ehm- thats strange!! God, isn't it awful to be the one that weird stuff happens to, at least there is a known cause that can be prevented next time, you are making your FS earn his money lol!
oneday- I don't know much more about it than what everyone else said, mine were blasties and obviously implanted so they got that far. Hope your other follies catch up x
Springlola- good luck tomorrow!!
AFM- had my blood test yesterday and the hcg level was 6 ( has to be under 5 so I have to go back for another test next week- typical) Seeing FS in a couple of weeks.
I'm pleased because on Tuesday night the bleeding basically stopped and is over, so happy its done and I can move on, I've heard of people bleeding after a M/C for weeks.
I phoned my boss and asked for A/L next week and she forced me to stay home today as well, I feel like a fraud cos I'm just doing xmas shopping but its probably for the best given the nature of my work.
Hi to everyone else- nicoleh, kaybee, kass, LMM, happybaby, aimee xxx

Hey Ladies,
Loops - I watched the filmclip - is that you carrying the water jug?. I loved it! Hope your appointment next week sheds some light on things for you.
ehm - How are you going, you complicated thing? Saffy's right - you sure are making FS work for his (her?) money. I guess, the more info they have the more they can finetune your treatment, but you are probably sick of hearing that by now.
Saffy - so glad things have started to settle down for you. Hope you are enjoying doing your chrissy shopping - remember to get something nice for yourself. Adelaide sounds nice - any time away is a good idea I think
Oneday - I can't really add anything to the debate, as everything I know has been said already. My clinic does standard 5 day transfers. I would discuss it with your FS to make sure they do what is best for you - not just a one-size-fits-all transfer, IYKWIM.
AFM - they got 10 eggs today and the clinic rang to say they all look good and so does DHs sperm, so will find out in the morning if any fertilise, then will get updates over the weekend. Is everyone else's clinic this good with sharing info???
I'm feeling really crap now - nauseous and sore, and to top it off DH has been really funny the last couple of days. I know this isn't a marriage forum, but just wondered if it was common around treatment time. I'm sure it's not just because of the hormones - he really has been saying some insensitive things and I feel like I'm in this alone. Anyway, yay - 10 eggs!!!
Sending lots of :bluedust::pink-babydust: out there for all of us deserving ladies xxx
