maruschke- I think 6.5 is ok, cos it just has to be over 8mm and grows 1mm a day ( from memory). I don't know much about follies wih IUI cos with ivf the more the better so I hope everything is set to go.

keta-I think some peopel get cramping with progesterone, I don't though. That sounds confusing, god knows whats going on, my (natural) cycle was weird this month too so maybe its something in the air xx

Not sure if this is normal (Im using prgesterone pessaries) but I am having a lot of cramping. It is way to early for implantation (trigger was Friday night) so hoping my body is at least going to give any possible fertilised eggy a chance. It has been such a wierd cycle (I supose first time using injectables will do that!) because I started with 2 big follies and one small. Then Wed I had what I thought was o pain then at scan just one follie on the right. So they triggered and then on Sunday morning I was certain I had the same 'o' pains. Hopefully we caught the egg and it is getting ready to be very sticky. Argh two weeks of this!
If you triggered friday night you probably ovulated sunday morning so that sounds about right . I wonder if the two big follies ovulated on wednesday/thursday, then the little one caught up and ovulated sunday? That's so weird but fx it works out for the best. Sorry I can't help with cramping as i get it at weird times through my cycle too.

maruschke- I think 6.5 is ok, cos it just has to be over 8mm and grows 1mm a day ( from memory).
Phew thanks so much! I just did an OPK and it is negative so I have at least another few days to get to 8 mm. Where are you at? I'm sorry I've lost track... best of luck with the FET. When do you get your BT results back?

My next scan is thursday at 6.10 am. Holy Cow.

DD1 just walked into the garden and saw how much the bok choy has grown and said "holy smokes' .

    holy smokes- thats v cute!
I'm just waiting for AF, I think I am around CD22 today, but still not convinced 100% I O'd this cycle so will be pleased if she shows up at normal time. Then I will do a FET. Will check my blood results tomorrow at work myself, Im sure if there was a prob the clinic would call.
Sick of waiting waiting waiting for cycles to start etc- I JUST WANT TO BE PREGNANT!!

All those ladies in the TWW.........i'm here for the ride too! I'm new to the forum, so just found this thread about the dreaded tww . Love to know if anyone else has experienced thick "snotty like" mucous after a ET? It started about 5 days after my ET (it was a 6 day old frozen blastie)...............on day 2 after ET had really bad cramps but just a few little twinges since then. None of these symptoms were present for my last ET earlier in the year. We have our test on tuesday next week, so only a few more days, I really don't want another BFN! Wishing us all BFP's!

Maruschke, I hope you are right! This suspense is just killing me............ok, I'm hoping for more "snot" now lol hahaha. Thank you for the reassurance

PS I see from the chatter in this thread that you are due for an IUI on Friday. Good luck
Oh and my lining is often very thin (under the 8mm requirement) before O, then it seems to thicken up, so I'm sure yours will too

nothing2lose - I did a test earlier in the week, but it was negative (it was only day 5 from transfer though - so probably too early then). I'm too scared to test again, I don't want to see another negative!
    using Crinone once daily.

Maruschke - my FS says a lining of at least 8mm before O is fine - nothing to worry about, as it will definitely thicken after O

Just had a review appointment with my FS.
Cut a long story short she thinks I shouldnt give up until I have transferred a total of 14 embies. I have done half that.
She has put me on clexane for this FET, along with progesterone pessaries. She is not convinced I hAve a problem with clotting but she doesn't think it will hurt.
I also asked for Metformin to help me lose weight and she gave it to me. Fingers crossed it will help!!!!

N2L- I just had a phone call from my FS and my clotting bloods were abnormal ( anticardiolipin antibodies ) soI am going to be on clexane and aspirin too- we will be pin cushions together!! I'm glad your FS is confident- good luck!

    Hi ladies,

I wasn't going to come crash your 'party' but I think I will need support with people who are going through AC too. We are due to start our first IVF cycle. I did three round of IUI over last year/early this year (no result), then took a break and was basically NTNP with no luck. Was hoping for a sneaky surprise but alas AF showed today. So, off to the clinic tomorrow & will most probably start injecting Saturday (?) Apart from my family and some online friends, no-one knows we are doing IVF (I have told others that we will most probably start next year). I told alot of people about IUI b/c I felt we would have success but it was difficult telling everyone that we had no luck & I don't want that added pressure.

    Anyway, what a long intro!

    to everyone this cycle x

    Hi lovelies,
Saffy I just had to post to say in the nicest possible way so glad your BT picked something up and you can now treat it.
N2L yay to you too that your FS is willing to try Clexane.

I personally think Clexane was the biggest reason I got a BFP after 7 transfers. I hope it makes all the difference for you both too.

Maruschke good luck for your coming IUI x

Hayldrew I would be testing now too, good luck and fingers crossed snot is a good sign.

    Hi to everyone else. Xx

Well I caved in and did the home test this morning - but that dreaded one line appeared ..........so disappointed, but I guess there might still be a glimmer of hope for the blood test on tuesday. At least now I wont be so disappointed if it's a negative - I would have had some time to prepare for it at least. I'm still not 100% sure about the homes tests, I have never had any luck with the ovulation predictor tests - even when I had ovulated (confirmed by bloods) and been testing for weeks before hand. Maybe I'm just in denial about this mornings results................

    Morning all

Halydrew, sorry about your BFN we all know how hard it is to get your hopes up only to have them dashed. Unfortunately, it doesn't get any easier. Nothing I can say to take away the disappointment and pain. I can only say sorry this month wasn't your month. I agree with you that it is better to find at home by yourself than wait for that dreaded phone call. That's why i test...Take care x

Maruschke - Hope all goes well today and praying that this is your month See you in the 2ww (hopefully!!!) in a week or so!

Rhi - welcome to our little thread!! Not many people know this but this is a very exclusive thread reserved for the most gorgeous and highly intelligent of the BB women (shhhhhh! Don't tell the others ) Seriously though, I know how hard it has been for you to take this step. I hope and pray your IVF journey is smooth and short. Remember, we are all here if you need us and we know what you are going through. Take care x

hi Saffy praying Clexane is the answer both of us have been looking for

AFM: cd 9. Have a scan on Monday morning to check for ovulation. I imagine if all goes well, my transfer will be any day from Wednesday onwards...It will be embie # seven that I have transferred. Seven is my lucky number

Maybe my home test could be wrong? I don't know how often they are wrong...........gee this sucks! I really thought this month was going to be the one. I can't bear the thought of going through a family christmas with my sister who is at the moment a few months pregnant with twins........maybe we should just just disappear this christmas and for my DH and I just to sit at home on our own away from everyone and everything.
I wonder why I had so many signs this time, where as last time there was nothing and I was expecting the negative. This time there have been so many more signs that lead towards it having worked...............oh I really don't know what to feel right now
