    Thumbs up

    HI guys,

Bec- hey congrats for your result, don't stress too much about numbers, statistics etc, just revel in the fact you are definately pregnant!!

All you girls with morning sickness- hope its really bad ( in a good way IYKWIM) and those little beans grow stronger by the minute

Orki- I'm with you, I think this is my last month on clomid, was definately feeling a bit weird the last few days, esp at night just before I go to sleep. Hope you have a fun weekend DTD and that the scan on tues is a great result- it just seems the more tests we have the more we find to stress about!

RhiCHiChi- Hi how are you going? Hope everything is going well.

Porsche- are you still around? Hope you are feeling better x

AFM- I'm starting the IVF paperwork, then it will be sorted hopefully by the time we decide to go for it. I had a little meltdown when I realised because DH is a Pom, we need a police check from UK as well as one from aust, god could they make it any more difficult. I am annoyed because I know how long it takes to get them, esp if its from overseas, oh well hopefully won't need it in the end!
Hello my name is linda .i started my second round of clomid.I have been getting Hot flashes so bad.Just on my right side of my face. The doctor up the dose to 100 mg .The first month was 50mg ,didnt work.Im kind of nevous,i heard the higher the dose of clomid can cause twins.Has anyone got pregant with twins on 100mg? I hope everyone has a good weekend.Lot of baby dust throw all around for everyone, best of luck everyone. prayers too!

Linda the risk is higher for multiples on any dosage of clomid. the increase in dosage is to increase the amount of eostrogen that your body will produce to get the O process happening

OG - I certainly know what you mean! DH & I had a blue about making a tossed salad! As he was walking away from me I screamed 'This isn't over yet!' OMG what a freak! I hope things settle down for you. They might suggest Femarra (sp?) GL

Bec - Nah, stopped bothering with Clomid this month. Thought if it didn't happen in the past 6 cycles it ain't gonna happen! I had more success not on Clomid! Great news about the HCG levels! Try not to stress too much about it, as long as they continue to rise all should be well Got a due date yet?

Mexz - Glad to hear all is well with you! Sorry to hear ms has kicked in, but on the flip side a bit of a blessing!

Saffy - Wow - IVF! I didn't know about the police checks Best of luck

Linda - Yeah the risk on any dose of clomid is multiples. The dosage depends on your progesterone test at CD21 (I think). So I O no worries on 50mg, so no need to up the dosage.

    Hi Julia,
Due date is looking to be somewhere between 28th-30th December. (just a few more days and I could get the maternity leave payment! lol) I have a dating scan on the 10th May if all goes well till then.
Hope you have some luck without clomid. Maybe some time not worrying about it is just what you need!
    Have a great weekend anyway,
    Bec

Hey Bec, I hope then your little one is overdue! Is it 18 weeks you will get? I can't remember what they said about the mat leave payment.

    Have a great weekend all

Yeah it's 18 weeks I think. Doesn't matter though! He or she wouldn't be early anyway, I have to have a caesar and I think they do that at 38 weeks. At this point I'd just be happy to get to 5 weeks! (things are looking ok at the moment, m/s has kicked in!)

Why do you have to have a caesar? (sorry you might have told me but I can't remember) Well, looks like things are travelling nicely with m/s kicking in - I hope it isn't too bad for you

    Hi Julia
I had an emergency caesar with DS after 30 hours of labour and on investigation we found that my pelvis is titled the wrong way which is why he got stuck there! So it will be caesar for me, and I've made my peace with that.
M/S is ok, I never thought I'd relish that seasick feel, but I do! I've also become a bit obsessed with POAS. So far I've done 9 tests, just to make sure they keep getting darker! Hubby thinks I'm bonkers!
When is your FS appointment again? It must be coming up?

Hi everyone else! Porcshe have you found us? Hope you're well hon. (I hope everyone is well of course!)
    Bye for now

Bec - PMSL @ your DH thinking you have gone bonkers.... I do remember you telling me about your son, sorry I forgot... I had an emergency c-sect with DD as have no issue with it - you do what is best for you & bubs

I had the OBS/GYNO appt on Monday & am booked in for the lap & dye study on the 25th May. We'll see what that turns up & if all is ok 'down there', then I am thinking we will be off to the FS. - Thanks for asking

    Hi everyone

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm losing track of all the BFPs - so I'm just going to say I hope all of you pregnant girlies are blossoming!

AFM - I seem to be scunnered with the whole baby making process just now. This is my 4th round of clomid and go back to see the FS on June 2nd if this doesn't work. My period was very strange this month. Took days to kick in properly then only lasted for for over a day. I was a bit worried that I had started the clomid too early - meant to be 2-6 - but after it disappeared so quickly then it mite be ok.
I have always had very irregular periods so I think I had probably 'accepted' that having kids would be difficult and had talked myself into believing that I wasnt that fussed. It was probably easier to say that rather than accept it. However, now that I'm at this stage - it's all I can think off and seem to be so emotional all the time. It sucks and feel bad about wingeing!

Anyway, it's a sunny day in Scotland so thats bound to make everyone feel more cheerful!
    Love to all

Don't worry Claudette. I know I've been through the same thing. I've just done round 8 of clomid, and it seems to have worked for me, but if clomid doesn't work, there are so many other options for you.
    Enjoy the sunny Scotland day!

    Hi Ladies,

I am so excited to be joining this thread. After about 6 months of visiting Fertility Specialists and having all the numerous tests done we are finally on track.

    Tomorrow I start on Femara.

Realistically we know it will probably take more then 1 month, and the FS is only giving us 4 months before moving on to IUI. But I am so excited at the thought of possibly having a baby in the next 12 - 18 months.

Hi nelly & welcome to BB & this thread. Best of luck with Femara (I am on Clomid), I hope you have success. Sounds like you have a good pro-active FS.

Hello to everyone else. Hope you are enjoying your long-weekends

Hey Rhi - the lap might actually do the trick for you. My FS said he sees it time and time again when women have a lap and within 3 months they are pg. It happened to me on my first cycle of clomid after the lap, so cross fingers it happens to you too.
