Did anyone else have trouble finding this again? The new layout of BB is very confusing!

Just popped in to say hi to everyone and say I hope you had a great weekend. Mez, great to hear all is well with you! GL with the scan. Rhi- welcome back! We all need some time away occassionally I think, but we're glad you're back!

I started the Gonal f injections yesterday, and you should have seen me! I had to keep sitting on the kitchen floor with my head between my legs to stop myself passing out! I was also laughing hysterically, so DH & DS are now totally convinced I'm a loony! I managed it in the end and it actually didn't hurt at all. Just waiting for FS to ring tomorrow to see when I have to go for follie scans. Regime has begun!

Hope you all find this again, I was so upset when I thought this thread had gone to god in the reno of the site.

I thought I was the only one..... I had subscribed but when I try to click on my subscriptions it is hidden behind another page - if that makes any sense????

How are you feeling after you've started the injections ? Any side effects?
Thanks for the welcome back too Bec

Mez - So glad to hear all is going nicely for you, please KUP about your scan

    Hi! to everyone else

    Hi Ladies

Gosh doesn't the new look, look great? Purple is my favorite colour. I didn't have any dramas finding you all. Just have to get used to it.

MezMoz - Great to hear all is going well. FX for your scan today. It is today isn't it? I'm having a memory lapse and I only read your post 2 seconds ago lol.

LOL Bec on your description of the injections. I would be the same hehe. Hopefully it does the trick and you get some really nice follies.

Had a great mother's day yesterday. Kids behaved them selves all day lol. They gave me 2 of those scent diffusers you know with the bamboo type sticks? They also gave me 2 little cosmetic cases, a nail file and a book mark lol. God love them.

Well FF put my cross hairs in this morning and apparently I'm 5DPO so AF should be due around the 20th May. I'm almost halfway through my 2WW.

    Afternoon beautiful ladies,

Just thought I would pop in to say hi to you all and give you a little update on me.

Porsche: So glad you hear you have jumped straight back into it all, good on you, you are so brave. Must be nice to have a month off the drugs too, congrates on O’ing on your own, nice work. How awesome is that being half way through your 2WW, love it when that happens and you didn’t really think about it too much.

Saffy: Hi love, how’s things going with your police check? I am praying for speedy post for you, or even better a BFP so you don’t even need it.

Ahurani: Congrates on O’ing, it’s an awesome feeling knowing BFP is a definite possibility isn’t it?

Bec: Wow you really have a serious regime set out for yourself there don’t you? Good on you, that is awesome, you have just been amazing through all of this, just jumped straight back into it again, fingers crossed those little follicles are going to be big fat juicy ones in no time. Lol your story about the injections had me in tears, I can just image it. Glad you finally got it done IYKWIM.

Tammara: Wow so glad to hear it has all settled down for you and things are ticking along nicely, that is awesome hun, so when is your EDD?

Julia: GL with your lap it’s on the 25th of May yeah? I have everything crossed that this is your answer, I truly believe that it played a big role in mine.

Mez, hi great to hear from you. So glad everything is wonderful for you. Gosh so there’s only 3 weeks between us then, what is your EDD? GL for your next scan, hope all goes perfectly.

AFM: Well I am now 8 weeks, can’t believe how fast that has flown by. Having another scan on Friday though, turns out there was another smaller sac seen at my first US and at that stage it appeared to be empty but I need to have a follow up scan just to be sure, so twins are not yet off the cards. Will let you all know how it goes on Friday. MS is in full swing all day long, not complaining though cos it’s what I have wanted for such a long time.

GL to those waiting to O, I hope you ALL catch that egg.

FX to those in 2WW, I know it’s agonising I just hope you all get your long awaited BFP’s at the end of it. This forum is totally due for some exciting news.

    Babydust to all.

    Hi girls,

I hope you don't mind me crashing your thread again!

I just wanted to ask if any of you taking Clomid had issues with little to no EWCM?

This is my 2nd cycle of Clomid and while I'm currently on 7DPO, (sorry if TMI) I had one 'bit' of EWCM 2 days before actual O day... I normally have it for a couple of days, but not this time...

I was just wondering if this was normal??

    Thanks girls xo

    Hi girls,
Elocin- although I've never had any worries with EWCM, i know it's a common issue with clomid. I think porsche said Green tea helps?

Kel & Mez- so glad your pregnancies are prgressing nicely. Good luck with scans this week. Let us know if it's twins, Kel!

Porsche- glad you had a nice Mother's Day. I did too, I got a nice pasta cooker from DS (well DH really!). FX this month is for you before DH goes away!

Rhi- Side effects have been more sever than I'd hoped. Not awful though I suppose. I'm just really dizzy all the time and a shocking headache. But I was the same with Clomid so it's no worse!

Hi everyone else, I can't see the msg on the last page so I won't do persies! Hope you are all well though.
AFM: Nothing new here. I'm CD11 but I'm not sure how my cycle will be since I've not been on Gonal before. Maybe I'll suprise everyone an o on time! That'd be nice...
I'm off to dress rehearsal for a play I'm in so I better have tea,
    Bye

Keli - Congrats on reaching 8 weeks & the possibility of twins - KUP! GL x

Elocin - Yep EWCM fairly non-existant for me whilst on Clomid. I have also heard taking Robitussin (cough medicine) helps too, although I have not tried it

Porsche - Glad you had a great mothers day. GL for this month

    Bec - Best of luck

    Hi Ladies

Ahurani - I have very little to no EWCM on clomid. It is very common for clomid to dry it up so to speak. I used to use pre seed sperm friendly lubricant when I got a + OPK. Others have used green tea to help CM. I'll be using the pre seed agin next cycle when I start clomid again. I too have heard of taking Robitussin. Actually i read something about cough syrup. There are other ones you can use but you have to get one without a certain ingredient. I'll see if I can find the info again.

Ok, I am going to ask a bit of a silly question and I really cant believe I am about to ask this. You are all talking about no EWCM and I am in that category. Some of you have had suggestions on how to, I guess, Fix the prob. Now my question is, with the green tea and the cough syrup, do you drink it as normal or do you use it in a different way? So sorry for this question.

I cant remember if it was bec or Porsche that said they used a pre seed sperm friendly lubricant, where did you get this from?

Porshe: I only just realised that you m/c last month. I am so sorry for your loss. Heres to the future bringing you a better outcome.

Linda5: GL with the progesterone levels, lets hope that the levels are sky high. The waiting game is so painful isnt it.

Bec: How did your play go?

Hello to everyone else. for those of us in the TWW and also to those of us who are trying to catch that egg.

AFM: Nothing to tell here at the moment except I get my BT results tomorrow for my cd21 progesterone.

Thanks girls... makes me feel a bit better IYKWIM to know that it's somewhat normal...

Hope, as far as I'm aware, you drink it as normal...

If you Google pre-seed, you'll find a website that delievers it. Where abouts in QLD are you? I know if you go to the Pre-seed site there are a list of Chemist's that stock it, although not many have it.

Ok, I have another weird Q for you all and I'll apologise first for TMI... While I had very little EWCM, I was still *ahem* wet enough to DTD without my pre-seed... should I have used pre-seed? Does it actually assist in getting the spermies 'up' there or is it just sperm friendly (ie, doesn't kill the boys like normal lubricants)??

Ahhhh, what a way to start the day

    Thanks again

    Morning Elocin,

As far as I’m aware, if you are wet enough (so to speak) to DTD then don’t use anything, nothing is better than your own natural lubricant. But if you need to use something then pre-seed is the way to go. This is what I was always told anyway, even though this is not what the packet says.

    Hope that helps a little.

PS: Thanks for the giggle hope, totally know what you mean though cos the weird and wacky things people tell us to do can be quite odd sometimes. At the end of the day if someone told us to rub banana into our skin, we’d do it. Yes drinking it’s the way to go, don’t know why it helps but apparently it does.

Elocin- I'm in the same boat- used to have very good levels of EWCM but with clomid it just disappeared! Even DH noticed and asked me about it . If you can still DTD then I wouldn't use pe-seed, we had problems with pain and chaffing so I was using a conception friendly lubricant (can't remember the name) It seems annoying that the clomid increases our ovulations but then reduces the way for the sperm to get to them!

Linda- anything over about 15 means you have ovulated so 44 is a good result, you can ring your doctor and ask him/her to explain to you

Kelly- rubbing banana into the skin sounds easier than what we all do lol, I wish that was all i had to do to get preg hehe! Any news on twins? I used to dread having twins, now staring down the barrel of turning 38 I would love twins!

Hope- good luck with the BT today, hope its good levels x

Bec- shame about those side effects but I hope you O on time x

    RhiChiChi-hi how are you going?

Porsche-how are you going on your TWW? Any promising signs?

Hi to everyone else I hav missed, hope you are all going well!

AFM-had a big depression yesterday, I think I've got pmt, cried all the way to work so had to fix up my face when I got there, then when I got home had a fight with DH because I asked him to do one little thing for our mortgage application and he didn't do it of course. I feel like i am doing everything for that and for the ivf application and he just acts like none of it is his business GRRRRR!!! He's apologosed but is still not in the good books with me

Ha ha Saffy, yes very true, rubbing banana into your skin would be so easy if it worked, hope you knew what I meant though. No news on the twins yet, scan is on Friday, will keep you posted. Yes after 3 years of TTC they really don’t concern me anymore either. Hope the depression is subsiding a little for you. KWYM about DH’s not filling out ANY paperwork, mine is exactly the same, even with the IVF stuff for us too, I began to feel as though he didn’t want it as much as I did. I honestly think they just don’t think about it though. Doesn’t help you in the mean time, arrrr they can be fun at times.

    Hi Ladies

Saffy - 2WW is going pretty speedily this time lol. I don't have any promising signs but then I don't remember any signs when I was pregnant with my first 2. I think it was the clomid that exagerated my symptoms last time. Really don't hold much hope for this month. My temps are all over the place. I really have no clue what the heck is going on. Just waiting till AF is due and then start poping pills again.

Elocin - I used Pre Seed because I had read it gives the sperm a better condition for survival. And lets face it we would stand on our head and sing twinkle twinkle little star if we thought it would help.

Hope - With the green tea and cough syrup you just indgest it like you normally would. No need to rub it into any place lol. Thank you for your condolances.
