    Welcome

    Hey Ladies,

Welcome Clamgee, I'm sure its ok for you to post on here, I don't think it matters where you live, well it shouldn't anyway. Yes I know what you mean about feeling like you know everyone already, I was the same before my first post. This is such a wonderful site with a great support network for us all. I'm so sorry to hear that you had a miscarrage that must have been aweful, but I guess you are right too in saying that at least you know you can get UTD. Enjoy the site and hopefully you have a short stay here and get UTD very shortly. Can I ask, how long have you been TTC? What is wrong? Sounds like a rude question I know but I think you'll know what I mean.

Rhi, yeah it sure has been a really long road so far. Well DH and I have been looking into IVF so we may be starting that soon, but we will continue on Clomid for a few more months yet as this is only my third cycle since the lap so fingers crossed we get lucky soon

Hey Mez, so glad to hear it is all going well. How exciting that you will get to benefit from your yoga classes now also, that must be wonderful I cant believe you have to wait 6 weeks to see FS, isn’t the anticipation going to kill you? Maybe you just have more patience than I do. GL anyway. Keep keeping us posted. Love it!

Great results Tammara, fantastic to hear. And thanks for the chuckle on the cheese

Bec that is hilarious, my cycle on clomid has seemed to be 35 days also, it has only started changing since I had my lap. I do O a little bit earlier than you though I think. Yey we are so in sync buddies now. Hopefully we can both get UTD this month and then be preggy buddies too, woo hoo how nice would that be?

AFM just waiting to start Clomid tomorrow, feeling quite down at the moment. All will be ok though.

GL to everyone else out there

Welcome Clamgee - sorry about your loss. I hope you find this site & particularly this thread supportive and informative.

Tammara - Awesome news about your HCG levels! Woo Hoo!

Mez - Great news again hun!

Keli - Best of luck for this cycle. I hope this is the last one you have to do & get your BFP. x

Bec - Not sure why the Clomid is not helping with O. Have you spoken to your Dr about this? Still waiting for AF. My lower back in hurting & that is a sign she is not far away :S

    newbie and question

    hi all!

i just wanted to introduce myself. i am 23, DH is 24 and we have been TTC for 1 year +. Last year, I was diagnosed with PCOS and just finished my first round of clomid which unfortunately resulted in a BFN. DH's sperm analysis results came back worrying, so we sent them in for a 2nd time - hoping for good news!

Just wondering, has anyone had these symptoms before? I never get headaches - but yesterday I had a shocking migraine and AF came last night. Do you think this can be a result of clomid, even 3 weeks after I had it?

    Thanks!

    Hi guys!
    Welcome Michal and Clamgee!
Michal- I had awful migrains my first cycle of clomid, so much so that I could get out of bed for 5 days. They did disappear after I finished the 5 tablets, and the next 7 rounds I've had no symptoms at all. Not sure about the AF thing though. Was it due? I've heard some people get migraines when they get AF; maybe it wan't related?

Clamgee- sorry to hear of your loss. I also miscarried my first round of clomid, and I agree it was bitter sweet. Awful to go through when you've been trying, but al l;east something is happening. Don't give up hope!

Keli- bizarre! I would certainly love to get UTD this month, and if we both were that would be cool! Sorry about the cheese herbs!

Rhi- sorry Af is on her way, but sometimes its nice to get moving with the next cycle.

Mez- Hope all is still weel. I'll bet it hasn't even sunk in yet?!

AFM: FS doesn't seem too concerned about the date of o, just wehether I am o ing or not. Frankly I think he just scheduled the scans becasue that's what he always does. He didn't ask me a thing about my cycle or how I've been keeping track so, who knows? I think I'm just gonna suck it and see.
Porsche & Tammara- 6 weeks and counting for you guys yeah? Hope all is still well.

Hi anyone who's just perusing, or we haven't heard from for a while. Hope your TTC journey is going well.

    Talk soon,
    Bec

    yesterday justa

    Hi all.
Thanks for all the welcome messages. Keli, I have been TTC for almost 2 years. I have always had very irregular periods - often up tp 11mths! Went on Dianette for a few years, then came off almost 2 years ago. Periods became more regular - 6/7 weeks apart. Docs have done hormone tests over the yrs and all came back normalish. PCOS has been mentioned several times - was put on Metformin for a while 2. trial and error. The only positive news at the moment is my last cycle was 29 days !!!! and my 21 day progest result was 46! I'll need to learn how to use all the abbreviations for this site!

    Hi ladies

Welcome to the newbies! This thread is such wonderful support, so please do continue to post. It really helps to share your feelings with other women who know exactly what you are going through. And I love the fact we have a Scottish lass joining us!

Bec - my cycles were around 32 days and we still managed to get UTD. I usually O'd on day 19 or 20 on clomid so don't worry too much about the date you O. Like your FS said, the most important thing is that you do O.

Keli - hope that this round of clomid does it for you. I reckon it was the lap that did it for me, so if this is only your 3rd cycle post lap then you have a good chance.

Rhi - just think, even though AF is nearly here, that means you have another shot in 2 - 3 weeks. This could be it! Try to stay positive.

Tammara and Porsche - have you got many PG signs?

AFM, I've been having very light cramps for the past few days, but not sure if that's just wind lol. I don't have any pg signs, except that I'm weeing more often and slightly more hungry. No sore BBs or nausea. I kind wish I did though to make it seem more real. Oh and remember I posted just after I O'd that I had thrush...well I think I have it again. I guess that's a pg sign given my hormones are probably going crazy. I've just been using tea tree oil, but am going to see a naturopath tonight so will ask her if she has any suggestions.

    Just me again

    Morning Ladies,

Well well I'm becoming a daily user on this site and I love it, he he! Hope no-one minds, I have my 2 cents worth on everything

Hi Michael, welcome to this wonderful site that is the best support network you will ever find. Fast and friendly responses from women who truly know what you are going through. Hope you like it as much as we all do. GL for DH's sperm results, I hope they come back GREAT Sorry but I have not had headaches with Clomid, many other symptoms but not head aches. I do however find that my moody symptoms seem to come about 3 weeks after Clomid so I'm thinking the two could be related for you also. I am 25 and DH is 34 and we have been trying for just over 3 years now so I totally understand where you are coming from. GL with the journey and hopefully your stay here is very short and sweet.

Hey Bec, I never new you had a miscarriage, I'm so sorry to hear that love. Yeah I suppose it doesn't really matter when you O so long as you do and you can track when you do. GL with this round starting Clomid tonight, woo hoo!

Hi Clamgee, Can I ask what Dianette is? I've never heard of it before. Have they not tested for PCO? I find that quite bizarre as that was the first thing my GP tested for when I had only had 2 AF's (Aunt Flow) in 12 months. Yes I really struggled to begin with translating all the abbreviations, here is a link Common Forum Jargon, Abbreviations & Acronyms - Pregnancy, Birth & Baby Forums ~ BellyBelly (hope it works) to see all the abbreviations and that really helped me.

Hey Mez, Glad to hear all is still well, yes I can appreciate what you mean about wanting some PG signs, I guess at this stage nothing really feels like it has changed, but it has you are UTD, he he!

AFM: Starting Clomid tonight, woo hoo!
