Oh Porsche I'm so so so so sorry to hear your news. Sending you a big hug and am hoping you are OK. I can only imagine how devastated you must be feeling right now. I hope tomorrow goes as smoothly as can be. Make sure you are kind to yourself and surround yourself with loving support. M x
    Hi Mez

Thank you for your thoughts. I'll be fine in time. I guess it wasn't meant to be this time. Just got to get on the horse so to speak. Bit of a shock really. Was not expecting that at all. Had no signs I was aware of.

Bec - Cycle buddies & hopefully belly buddies

    Hi to everyone else

    Hey every one
well today is day 4 of my cycle and have started 100mg of clomid tonight,
Have your doctors told you how long your DH's can not ejaculate for? mine said we shouldnt do any thing after the last day of clomid till the scan date, but i bleed for 7 days so only have 1 day to DTD before going on hiatus...
but i have been told that men shouldnt go more then 72 hours with out some form of ejaculation??
    Hey there,

I am on 50g of Clomid and have been told to DTD from CD 10 to CD 21 every second day..... I never have had scans whilst on Clomid, just progesterone test to ensure my dosage is correct. Sorry I can't help

    Hi Ladies

Thank you for all your kind words and thought. I'm really glad I have you girls. God knows how I'd be otherwise. I reall do appreciate all your messages.

I'm really dissapointed but I just got to pick myself up and dust myself off and try again. The only thing making this more acceptable is thinking that there was abviously something wrong and I'm thankfull it's hppened now rather than later.

Not sure where to go from here. It's a bit all up in the air. I go back to my FS in 2 weeks so we'll see what she says. I'm thinking one last clomid round and then off to do IUI. FS said we can start trying straight away but right this second i don't know.

I know a sticky one is on it's way. I just have to be patient a little bit longer.

    xxxxxx

    Low progesterone

    Hi everyone
I've been away for a few days and feel like a lot has happened. I know I am on the other side of the world from you all but I really felt for you Porshe. I know exactly how you are feeling. I felt the same by thinking if there was something wrong it was better happening sooner rather than later. After waiting so long for a positive, it just doesn't seem fair. My thoughts are with you.We did start trying straight away after mine but im not sure if I was ready for it.
AFM after 3 rounds of clomid - my progesterone results this month came back at 5 so I obviously didn't ovulate. Very disappointed after it was 42 last month with a 29 day cycle. This month I am still on day 32 with no signs of a period. I cant wait till I see the FS in June. His next plan is to give me more Clomid with regular 2 day scans to see if the 'follicles' are developing. Does that seem normal for all you Australian girls - or do the docs do it differently down your way? Obviously my treatment is on the NHS and I am very aware that yours is a different approach.
I am hoping that next month comes sooner. It's hard to keep up the pretence that I am coping fine!!!
    Hope you are all well.
And it was very cold in Spain!!!

    Hi Ladies

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm feeling better today. I tear up every now and then but it will all be ok.

On another note I had the hospital give me an apology today. While i was in recovery after my D&C the nurse who was looking after me had a conversation with the other staff members about her 10 week pregnancy and her dramas with M/S cloths starting to get tight etc... I guess the conversation was for like 2-5 minutes but it felt like hours. I mean I was lying there after having my 10 week 4 day bub sucked out of me and i had to hear that. I mean gee a bit of diplomacy wouldn't have gone astray. She knew what I was there for. And then she popped her head in and asked if I was in pain as if nothing had happened. Needless to say I really had to struggle to keep it together. The curtains aren't exactly sound proof and I'm not deaf.

So while i was sitting in the area they give you something to eat they have a customer satisfaction form for you to fill out. So I suggested that the staff be more sensitive to patients procedures and that seeing I had just had a D&C that I didn't need to hear about a staff members pregnancy.

So apparently all the staff have been told not to have personal conversations whilst on duty and to leave it till their breaks. They appologised and said it was very tasteless and they were very sorry I had to hear it.

Any way enough about that. I'm curious as to when I should get AF now. I think we'll wait until our 2 week appointment with FS to see what she recommends next.

MASSIVE O…..M…….G……!!!!!! I seriously cannot believe some people. You poor thing Porsche. Yep I’m with Tammara, defiantly have a cry. Arrrrrhhhh reading that has just made me sooooo mad, most people just have no clue how hard it is to conceive. And LTTTC is just such a roller coaster. You have been so inspirational Porsche, I can’t believe how strong you are. That little miracle that is waiting just around the corner for you will be so lucky to have such a strong willed Mummy. You are doing so well hun!

    Hi girls,
Porsche- I'm glad you wrote the feedback on that form. Otherwise it might happen all the time to other ladies in your position. Good on you! AS for TTC straight away, I did after both of my m/c's, mainly becasue I needed to throw myself into something positive. That being said, after I got AF after each m/c I fell to pieces, and I realised I really wasn't quite ready for the rollercoaster ride again. I think I knew I wasn't ready, and you will know if and when you are. If you need a break, take one, and if you don't think you do, then that's fine too. And we'll be behind you 100% what ever you decide (wont we girls?).

Clamgee- I had the scans every 2 days up to ovulation for my first 6 cycles on clomid. It was helpful to get verification as to what was happening in there (if you get my drift!) and then I started recognising my own body signs more too. If they offer it, take it. It measn you don't have to wait the whole month to find out about ovulation.

Julia- Any signs one way or the other yet?

Keli & Mez- hope you're both well, and Kel I hope your m/s is letting up.

AFM: 5 days until AF is due, I'm I'm sure she'll be here on time. BB's are no longer sore, still tired and a bit lethargic, but who isn't?! Time will tell, though. I've got a big weekend on, but I'd king of like to just curl up under my doona and hibernate!

    Talk soon,
    Stay well,
    Bec

Porsche - So sorry you had to hear that insensitive nurse blab on & on. You have a very positive aura around you & I am in awe of you atm. I hope you recover well & GL when you decide to ttc again & of course whatever you decide, we are with you all the way

Claudette - Sorry I can't help out re: the scans, I only had progesterone levels checked on CD21

Bec - I hope you are wrong about AF being on her way. I am on another forum & a lady there got her BFP yesterday with NO symptoms - fingers crossed the same is for you

Hello to Keli , Mez & anyone lurking

AFM - Funny story..... I POAS yesterday & left it on the bench in my ensuite and my DD has taken the test but won't tell me what she did with it! I have been looking everywhere for this test but cannot find it so I POAS again this arvo but nothing. If I put the test to the light (lol) it looks like a line, but it is not coloured - more like an evap line, so I think it is just wishful thinking..... If no AF by Sunday, I will re-test. Apart from my bbies being sore & they feel heavy I have no other symptoms. Having said that, I get sore bbies when AF is on her way, so could be just that.... will know one way or another on the weekend (BTW I am on CD 25, so probably between 8-10 DPO)

Just a quick note to Julia, the day before I tested positive I thought I saw exactly the same thing. I too thought that I was totally imagining it but it turns out the next day I was not! I'd test again if I were you! Oooo I would be so excited it you were! GL

Porsche - I'm glad you are feeling a little better. I still cry sometimes & it's been over 12 months since my last m/c. Hugs x

Still can't find that test! Thanks for the positive thoughts Keli - I really don't want to get my hopes up after being over 12 mths from my last m/c I think I will be in serious doubt if I am pg.
