Hi Linda and welcome to BB & this thread. I have just completed my sixth & last round of clomid and are currently in the tww. I have 'heavy' bbies - in the past my nipples (sorry of tmi) would be sore, but this time they are 'heavy', no nausea though. I did get side effects on Clomid such as insomnia, hot flushes but no nausea. I took my Clomid in the evening & this was suppose to lessen symptoms. I know nausea can be a side effect from Clomid but can indicate early pg. I am not sure when you O, so perhaps it is too early to test for pg? I did a test yesterday & it was neg but I am still hopeful & will re-test tomorrow when AF is due. Best of luck to you

    Hi Linda

And welcome. I usually get tender BB's before my AF. That was one of the side effects that would confuse me when I started taking clomid but now I know it is just part f it.

Do you know if you have ovulated? That might help to know if you are testing too early or not. Has your Dr done a 21 day BT to see if you have ovulated?

I really don't have alot of information to tell you as your question is a bit vague. The signs your having can all lead to a pregnancy but then clomid does give you those side effects as well.

    Hi girls,
Linda- I have had nausea on clomid, right across my cycle. The only solution, unfortunately is to wait and see! There are months when I'm soooo sure I'm pregnant and I'm not, and when I was sure I wasn't I fell pregnant (m/c both unfortunatly). The waiting is unbearable I know!

Julia- Have you tested yet? I hope AF has stayed away!

Porsche- How are you mate? I hope you're on the mend, physically and emotionally. You are very brave, I think.

Clamgee- Any change with you? How's it all going?

Mez, Keli, Tammara- Hope you are all well.

AFM: well, I POAS this morning (even though I swore I would wait till AF was due this month...who am I kidding, I never do!) and just left it on the bathroom counter, assuming it would be negative and I hate sitting there for the three minutes to see no change anyway. SO I took myself back to bed for maybe 20 mins/30mins, and I was getting up to get DS some brekky, and I thought "I'd better check it and chuck it out..." well lo and behold, the bloody thing has 2 damn lines! One is very faint, but I can see it quite clearly. Now I don't know what to think becasue I left it too long, and I don't have any more tests! AHHHH! Any advice would be welcome.

P.S. DH's response when I said "There's two lines on this thing.." He rolled over (still in bed and hung over from an engagement party last night) "S'Probly lying." I could have smacked him over the head! Although I know he's just trying not to get my hopes up after our last 2 m/c at 5 weeks. But still!

    Sorry for the long post!

    Hello all

    Hi all
I'm starting to get really attached to this site and finding myself checking it very regularly to see if there are any developments!
Linda - I feel nauseous most of my cycle!
Bec - get out and get another test! Sounds very positive tho - everyting crossed for you! Makes me feel more positive when I hear positive news!
AFM - i'm on day 35 and I think my period has arrived (what does AF stand for - think it means period but don't know the exact words!!) Very slight though and im feeling sick tonight! Boobs are no longer tender - hating my body for tricking me this month!
I'm gearing up to go back to work on Monday - been off for 2 weeks hols! Deep depression is setting in! However to ease the pain I have counted only 49 working days till my summer holidays!! Can't wait - no plans to go away though! As we're playing the baby waiting game - we're leaving booking anything to the last minute!! Hopefully we won't be going a holiday........
Can't wait to hear some positive news

Claudette- AF stands for Aunt Flo, colloquial term for period. Thanks for the luck too!

Oooh Bec I so hope it's the positive you've been waiting for. I wouldn't be able to stand not testing again. Go out and get a FR one! It sounds very promising. My FX for you.

Tammara, I'm so sorry that you *might* be having a m/c - I hope not. Please keep us posted & I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Hugs

Bec - A feint positive is a positive, so you are UTD! Congratulations! You need to go out & get a test that does the word 'pregnant' so you will know for sure.

Porsche - I hope you are doing OK

AFM - Tested this morning & it is neg so I assume AF will show up later tohight/tomorrow. Am off to the OBS/GYNO to chat about the next step. Will keep you all posted. x

    Hi guys,
hope its ok if I join you in here, I'm also posting in TTC after miscarriage thread ( Hi porsche).
I'm on my 2nd month of clomid ( first was a dud though cos DH was in hopsital over my fertile days so I didn't count that one as real). Af is just about to start so seems this month is out also.
Just a question for you wise ladies- I'm thinking of taking my clomid day 3-7 instead of day 5-9, reason being I O quite early in my cycle approx CD 11-12 usually, and feel like I've already O'd by the time my clomid kicks in (I feel a bit swollen in the ovary area around CD15/16.)
I did a bit of research and it seems theres a lot of people taking at all different days, has anyone got any thoughts?
    thanks ladies!

Hi Saffy, and welcome. There are many of us in here who are also TTC after miscarriage, and you are most welcome to join us. It's a god send having someone (or lots of someones!) to talk to about what we are going through. We all hope your stay here is short and sweet!

AFM: DId another test (had to go and buy some more!) and got another very faint line in the three minute time limit. Still very faint, but it's most definately there. I'm not posting BFP yet becasue my last two pregnancies m/c before 5 weeks, so if I make it to next Tuesday, I will post it and be excited! It's funny the things we do to protect ourselves, isn't it?

Tam, hope tomorrow brings good news and not the other. Julie- hope that AF didn't turn up!

    hugs to all,
    Bec

    Hi Saffy

    I take mine all over the place. I know I probably shouldn't but I experiment a little. Normally I take it from CD2 - CD6 but I have taken it from CD1 - CD5.

What I found is that I don't O any earlier or any later than when I would take it normally (CD2 - CD6). I usually O around CD14, 15,16. I guess we all react to clomid differently. Some have 28 day cycles and others (like me) have 35 day cycles. We all differ.

Perhaps give your Dr a call and ask if it is ok to take it at a different CD. He/She may have a reason for you to take it on a specific day.

Bec - I'm going to be watching for your BFP announcement. A line is a line and it all sounds very promising.

Tammara - I'm thinking of you today. I hope it's all fine and bubs is going strong.

Linda - I'm baffled as to why your not being monitored. How do you know if you are Oing or not? Are you using OPKs (ovulation predictor kit)?

I wasn't being monitored either for the last 4 cycles as I was due to have a lap and the FS decided that I should keep going with the clomid to keep my cycles regular and then after my lap I got pregnant.

Might be different this time though. But I'm not concerned if she does monitor me as I monitor myself through BBT and OPK's. It will be different IF we move to IUI/IVF.

AFM first day back at work. Not sure how it will go. Bit nervous really.

Hi i was using the ovulation kit and got a + on the 15th day of m y cycle.Im pretty sure i felt my self ovulate on the 18 day.I can usually feel it when im ovulating. I dont know why my doctors not monitoring me.I keep reading about everyone being tested on the 21 days but my doctor just said to call in if i start my period or if im pregnant. The nurse make me a calendar from the day i started my period and when to start testing on the 10day of my cycle till i get a postive and have sex every other day after i reach a post on the ovulation kit. Thanks .
