AF never came back just went for almost 2 days but the 2nd day very light... weird.. havent done poas yet but maybe do one later tonight... I just feel like crap and i have had a upset stomach for 11 days now mostly at night
Hmmm, not too sure if I can help you out there. Have never had that happen before. I've had it happen just before AF arrives but not just that alone. Was AF actually due than? Like epayne said, everyone's cycles are different. I think if you are really concerned about it you should discuss it with your GP/Gyno/OB/FS.

GL with the POAS if you decide to do it.

    Hi girls!
Tammara that is lovely news! A baby girl. I would love a girl, but I'd be happy with either to keep DS company! Enjoy shopping for all things girly.
Liz- just wondering if you kept testing? i know my lines get progressively darker, but I always get two lines in varying darkness. I think that to be sure you ovulated, the 2nd line needs to be as dark or darker than the test line. Glad sorting your house out kept you busy. I love rearranging too!
Pumpgirl- I do always get EWCM, but I must admit this month it was less. That being said I think I get a heap of it (Sorry TMI) before I ovulate, and then it kind of tapers off. I guess we're all different. Sorry I can't be more help.
Kris- I have done that chines predictor thing and it seems quite accurate! I found one on one of the due date calculator sites I used.
Lisi-lou- I hope you managed to work out what was happening with AF. Mine is usually pretty much the same. You might want to get your doc to check that your lining is growing enough, becasue a thin lining can mean a short, light AF, and not as much chance of implantation. I don't mean to worry you, but if this AF is unusal it's worth checking.
Hope & Ahurani- Been to the docs yet? Can't wait to hear how you're doing!
Porsche & Rhi- how's it going? Where you up to now?
Keli, Tammara, Mez- Hope you all comtinue to be doing well.
AFM: We'll I feel aweful. I've managed to pick up a throat infection and it hurts a lot! on a brighter note, lack of EWCM seems to indicate that I've o'd, so at least I won't been required to DTD tonight! No major signs here. Still a bit of reflux, and my skin is AWEFUL! pimples! I'm 30 years old and I'm getting pimples!! Probably the change in the weather (we actually saw the sun for a few days!).
Anywho, I'm off to bed. Hopefully a good nights sleep will mean I can still go to work tomorrow.
Yah for the happy vibes in here!

Thanks Epayne, that's really helpful info on the CM. And yes you are right to quote my own words ;-) I feel for you on the dream front. I am still having strange dreams too, although they have calmed down a little bit - last night I was dreaming about building a snowboard... Must be my inner disappointment about not getting to the snow this year :-( I really hope this is your month so you don't have to go on to FSH injections.

Bec, Oh no for being sick :-( Sounds like you are good for the month though so at least you don't have to worry about that! And yes I know what you mean about PIMPLES, it isn't fair to have wrinkles and pimples on the same face :-( I hate it too!!!

Oh Bec hope you are feeling better soon, nothing is worse then getting sick and TTC. At least you think you have o'd already so you don't need to DTD as often. Yes I am still doing the OPK tests and I haven't had anymore that have two lines, they have only had one. I was going to stop doing them on the weekend.

Pumpgirl, sounds like you have been having some good dreams as well lol. I don't know if I am thinking of babies to much but the last couple of weeks but in my dreams I have had a baby girl.

AFM still doing OPK tests just incase but I am only getting one line again (I had two but one was faint on fri and sat). And yay I actually had a good night sleep last night WOOOHOOO.

Hope everyone is doing good and staying positive as we are all going to be mummies one day (soon hopefully)

    Hi Ladies

Congrats to everyone who has gotten BFP's! It gives me hope that one day I will get one too so thanks for letting us know and please keep me updated.

Everyone in the TWW - Good luck trying to keep distracted and I hope we see some more BFP's soon.

Everyone else - Hope waiting for O isn't causing too much stress and just enjoy DTD, lol. DH commented last night that he will be very fit if we have to do too many more cycles.

AFM - well the hot flushes are still happening and the mood swings and abdominal pains have kicked in. Nearly threw a tantrum (the urge to smash the cup on the floor was overwhelming) over someone using my coffee cup the other day and had to leave the room to prevent it. Also isn't helping that everyone at work seems to have nothing else but babies to talk about, getting me a bit down.

Have a quick question - What does O pain feel like? I am pretty sure I have never experienced it and was wondering if it is similar to period pain?

Sorry this is so short (and for the slack persies), work is a bit crazy at the moment and have just jumped on here quickly at the end of my morning tea break. Only 16 hours of work left this week, yay!

Hope everyone elses weeks are going better than mine and I promise to send better persies next time.

Hope - Are you getting any symptoms as yet?

ShanShan - I hear you about the tantrums lol i have chucked some wobbly's over the clomid period, including one pathetic one i am not so proud of! DH turned the tv off whilst i was watching it! OMG did i spit it! I was very ashambed of my behaviour after that!!

epayne - I have never been able to get a + OPK! I always get two lines as dark as each other, but not actually darker then the control line.

Bec - hope you feel better soon!

AFM - I have been having mad dreams!! Last night i tossed and turned so much i apparently kept DH up ... but then he doesn't remember that i slept walked into the kitchen! Its the weirdest feeling waking up standing at an open fridge, and i don't know how long i was there for, but i managed to turn every light on on my way down there!! I have been so unsettled and stressing about DPO etc, i even at one stage apparently cried out in my sleep and covered my belly telling DH not to hurt baby!! I am giong mad i swear!! I have been so unsettled and omg! The hot flushes last night and today! Totally mad!!
My FF chart says im 5DPO but i think maybe 6 or 7 .. only the blood test will tell if i actually O'd or not! That is tomorrow, but i don't get results until Tues/Wed next week!

Anyway, best get back to pretending im working...in actual fact i am scribbling love hearts and baby pictures on my note pad! lol i need a hobby during this TTC thing! :P

    Hey all,

I am back finally & DD is much better, although still a little lethargic & clingy from her gastro/slap cheek viruses she had :S Luckily for DH & I we did not get sick!

Anyway, I won't attempt persies since I have been MIA for soooo long, other than to say Congratulations to Hope! It is great to see people graduating from here. Hopefully we will all follow suit soon!

Not much to report here, just waiting for AF to show, should be here by the weekend. Went to the FS on Monday & he has recommended Superovulation rather than IVF. Said my chances are the same as IVF and I should get the results within 4 rounds (hopefully). He said the key is patience (well I have had 21 mths of learning that....) and they go slow at the start. Just waiting for the information to come in the mail, then have to do police checks and other stuff then we can book into the clinic to go through how the injections work etc....

Anyway, better go check the mail and finish housework :S

Crap, I dont know what just happened. I just wrote a big post to everyone and it disappeared. Well, I guess I will try again.

Miss Kris: No nothing yet. The only thing I have is a face full of spots. I feel like a teenager again, although it was never this bad even back than. lol, about the sleep walking and scary also. Poor you with the bad dreams, that is horrible. GL with the BT tomorrow. Hope you caught that egg this cycle.

Rhi: Thanks for the congrats. Still trying to get my head around it but am also very excited. So glad that DD is feeling much better - poor little darling. Um, what is "Superovulaion"? It sounds promising but why the police check!!! Best of luck with it all anyway.

ShanShan: I never used to get O pain either before taking clomid. When I started taking clomid I had abdominal cramps and lower back pain around O. The abdominal pain was worst on one side, depending on what side was releasing the egg I assume. Good on you for walking out of the room instead of smashing your favourite coffee cup. Proud of you. I understand how you would of felt though.

epayne: YAY for the good night sleep

Bec: hope your feeling tip top real soon. Lets hope the lack of EWCM is a great sign. To answer your Q, I go to the OB tomorrow so hopefully will know more than.

A big hello to everyone else.

    Hi guys,
Shan- I only started getting o pain when I started clomid. I get quite intense pain like when you first get your period. I find it's not quite as...dull? as period pain. More intense in one spot. No everyone gets it though. My Stepsister has been on clomid for as long as I have and she doesn't get any pain at all.

Hope- I heard you with the pimples!!!! It's driving me crazy and I can't even blame it on bein UTD (well not yet anyway!) Hope it clears up for you soon.

Rhi- I'm glad DD is feeling better. Gastro is aweful, but slap cheek too! Lucky you and DH didn't get it, it's quite painful for adults apparently. I'm interested yto hear what superovulation is too. I might google it!

Liz-I'd say you've already ovulated if the tests had two lines and now have only one. GL with the blood test tomorrow. Can you ask them to mark it urgent. I always as them to, and the BT people usually are happy to if your doc hasn't. You could always tick to box on the form yourself!!

Kris- crazy stuff! I'm facinated by sleep walking, it's so bizzare. I hope things settle down a bit so you can get some sleep you poor thing!

Hi everyone else, hope life is good for you!

AFM: feeling a little better today, managed to get through the day without losing my voice! Now I'm worried this this will have an impact on implantation (if fertilisation happened). Oh the worries! I have all the usual AF signs, which are of course UTD signs too, which is yet another confusing thing about this whole shabang! But I'm feeling ok, and I can cope with a BFN I think. Still got at least 5 days till testing anyway, and I should really wait untill Monday week, but I know I wont!

Just wondering what you ladies think about keeping a record of where we all are with our cycles? I get confused about where everyone is up to!
So like BECNXAVI -3DPO etc? Just thought it might be helpful with posts? I'm happy to coordinate it. What do you guys think?

    Hey all,

TBH I really don't know the ins & outs of it all until I see the nurses at Monash. It isn't IVF but I go to the same clinic.

From what the Prof. briefly told us I inject meds -Purgeon & Pregnyl & they monitor me until they deem the follicle/s are large enough then DH produces a sperm sample. I don't think they wash the sperm or anything, they just inject it straight into my uterus & hope the egg & sperm meet. He told me cycles can get cancelled if there is a chance of triplets, so I guess it is similar to an IUI cycle but probably less invasive? I can't really find any more info on it. Their website is monashbabies & they call it 'Ovulation Induction'.... My appt in not until the 29th July, so a couple more weeks away.

Also, I think the Prof. got it wrong about the police check b/c my gf didn't have to do one and the nurse didn't mention anything on the phone about it. I'll just go to the appt. & be guided by them.

AFM: feeling a little better today, managed to get through the day without losing my voice! Now I'm worried this this will have an impact on implantation (if fertilisation happened). Glad to hear you are feeling better Bec. Wait til Monday for the testing, that way if you are UTD it will come up straight away & nice & dark the line

I am happy to do the updating about cycles, so I am currently CD 31 (not sure when I O)

I am back at work tomorrow then out for dinner & movie so I might not get a chance to come back on until the weekend. So if I don't - have a good one

    Hey All!

I think that is a great idea Bec - I have no idea when or even if I ovulated this month... no signs - boo :-( I am CD 20. I have my BT tomorrow so I hope the FS does give me good news next week. Not positive for this month to be honest, don't feel anything at all and apart from my one psycho moment and some weird dreams I haven't really had many major side effects this month - which is different to last month, wonder if it is even working - there is something wrong when you WANT side effects!!?? Maybe I might need to go up to 50mg although really don't want to!

I am actually much happier this month to be honest, have really not been focusing on things and I actually find it so much more helpful for my sanity, have been pretty busy with gym and setting up a business so it is good to be preoccupied.

Just wondering if any of you guys have started thinking about the next stage... I am meeting with my FS next month and DH and I agreed we would give clomid a total of 6 months and then we need to start an alternative route - I am thinking that IUI is a good idea before going down the IVF path although to be honest I don't know a great deal about it, would be really interested in hearing from you guys??

Hope you all have a great weekend!

But in saying that, i am also in a wicked mood cos i had a wonderful nights sleep!
Sorry for the no persies, i am sneaking this one in at work with a grumpy boss! lol

Pumpgirl - IUI is a great way to introduce you to ART and is less invasive than IVF. You still have to have some follicle stimulating drugs weather it be clomid or letrozole. They like to make 3 follicles anything over that and they will cancel the cycle unlike IVF where they like lots of follies. You have lots of BT and U/S to track progress of your follies and tell you when to trigger in prep for insemination.

I think the % rates of success for IUI is about 15% success where as IVF is 40%. But I think the % for multiples is higher with IUI.

Big factor for IUI is $$$ much more cost effective that $6700 for IVF + medications etc....

    Hi Everyone

Porsche - Nice to see you in here, How is everything going?

Rhi - Glad DD is feeling better and that you and DH managed to avoid getting it. Superovulation sounds exciting. Hope it all goes well for you and you will have to keep us all posted so we know what it is. I hope you don't have to have a police check cause if they are anything like ours they take weeks to clear. Seems like a strange request anyway, unless they are going to start making people get a license to have a baby, lol (altjough not a bad idea in some cases).

Hope - I understand the whole post disappearing, happens quite regularly to me so now I copy my post into word in case it disappears. Looking forward to hearing how your appointment went today.

Miss Kris - DH hasn't been on the end of one of my moods yet, and thinks it is hilarious that I am having mood swings (probably cause they haven't affected him yet). Hopefully no side effects is a good sign and you will be reporting a BFP in the next couple of weeks.

Pumpgirl - Like Miss Kris hopefully no side effects is a good sign. Glad your new business is keeping you busy. What do you specialise in?

Bec - I think keeping a record is a great idea. I am sympathising with yours and hope's pimple outbreak. After a pretty good lead in to AF on that front last time I have broken out big time in the last few days, not very happy about it either. Just another thing I am adding to my list of side effects.

Lisi-Lou - How is everything going with you?

Hi to anyone else I have missed.

AFM- I am now on cd14 (for Bec's record) and have no O symptoms. That is another question I have, Does clomid shorten your cycles or do they stay the same as before? Mild abdo pain but nothing like period pain, although my period pain usually feels like someone is stabbing me and trying to pull my insides out (sorry TMI) so I am sort of hoping that I don't get that type of pain. As for the mood swings they are still hanging in there (I now keep my coffee cup in my office). Will be interesting to see whether DH witnesses my mood swings over the weekend, we are playing golf together on Sunday so he better behave himself or I might swing in the wrong direction.
Only 30mins of work left this week, yay!!!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Pumpgirl - i agree with porsche IUI is much less expensive, before we did IVF i tried IUI but with no luck unfortunately and i think the medications only cost about $300 - that was the injections and the nasil spray. I didnt pay for any ultrasounds i had and i was having them about every 3 days. Im not sure about increased rate of multiples from what i remember or actually soaked into my brain it was just like a helping hand for the sperm to get right to the eggs but i had soooooo much info overload i have probably got it mixed up.

Good luck with what ever path you chose to go down.

    Have a great weekend everyone
