Good lord ladies your going off this month! i hope sooooo hard the luck continues got my fingers crossed extra tight for you porsche that your ivf works first go. And of corse everyone else gets their BFPs.
It really makes me so happy when people get their long awaited BFPs, i dont think its too much to ask the baby fairy to do a little better next month
Pumpgirl – Congratulations on your pg! Wishing you all the best for a happy & healthy little bundle of joy
Bec – Best of luck for this cycle. I am sorry AF showed. I understand the disappointment and wish it were easier for us. I had hoped you were going to surprise us with a BFP post I hope all goes well with your new FS – sounds like the timing is going to be spot on.
In relation to your q – we have told DD we are having a baby but it’s a ‘secret’. I don’t think she gets the whole secret thing b/c she told my sister that a toy monkey we had bought was for the ‘baby’ and my sister asked ‘who’s baby?’ and then put two & two together. Not a big deal b/c it is my sister but due to our history of m/c we were going to try to hold out until the 10 week scan….. Like I said to DH – family is ok to know it’s just hard to tell everyone if the pg ends in m/c b/c it is so emotional etc…. Plus I am a fairly emotionally closed person so we just don’t usually discuss that much private stuff about us to family & IRL friends anyway.
Claudette – Sorry to hear your test was neg. Hopefully you can be part of the next wave of BFP to hit this thread
Porsche – Fingers crossed your cycle doesn’t get cancelled. I hope you are ok
Hi to everyone else. Sorry if I have missed any of you – I am at work and am rushing to post this before people start coming in Have a great day
Even if you do over stimulate can they freeze your eggs till next cycle? Fingers crossed you dont o/s but if you do make sure you take time for your self my cousin did and she said it wasnt painfull but very uncomfortable.
Thanks very much everyone, we are very excited - although cautious.
Jules - How are you feeling? I hope so far so good for you!
RisRis - Yes, I can highly recommend the Kakadu Juice, we have found the best way to buy it is through TVSN as they always have special deals. It isn't cheap but you only need a shot of it per day - I also put it in my (super smoothies post workout which also includes: Banana, Skim Milk, No Fat tub set yoghurt, berries, egg white - although will be dropping this, oats, ABC spread, Spirulina & sprinkle chia seeds on top... Very very yummy and super nutritious.
Porsche - FX for you, I really hope that it all goes smoothly and you don't over stim, my thoughts are with you
Bec - I am really sorry to hear about AF, I thought that you might end up with a BFP this month, I am sorry that my message was probably the first thing you saw when you logged on :-( It is OK to be really disappointed, this would have to be one of the hardest things to deal with. I really, really hope that this is your month! FX!!!!!
Clamage - Best of luck this cycle hun, holidays seem to help with getting PG.
I agree with you Tammara, it isn't too much to ask for more BFPs, I have my FX for everyone in here, you all deserve your long awaited BFP
xx

CONGRATULATIONS PUMPGIRL! Its so exciting you got your BFP!!!
Well i was looking at my "positive" wall last night and i realised that 2 of the things on there came true, i did ovulate and clomid worked for me lol! So now i am hoping my other 2 posters will come true (about getting preg and sustaining a healthy pregnancy) lol!!
I am feeling so sore today! I spent most of the w.e drugged up (love you nurofen plus and panadene forte) i can't believe how painful this period is, but thats to be expected cos its getting rid of 6-7 months of lining i suppose...
Sorry for the no persies, people have started coming into work so i better look busy!!
Sorry I have been MIA, had a bit of a up and down weekend.
Pumpgirl - Wow, congrats on your fabulous news, both of them. Good idea to have the heart rate monitor on and don't forget to keep your temp regulated. Good luck getting the shop up and running soon.
Hope - Glad to hear everything went well this morning, great that you got to hear bubby's heart beat, must be reassuring. to you.
Bec - Hopefully the heavy AF is a good sign and you will be posting a BFP on the list next month. I agree about the wanting it now, I don't like waiting either.
Rhi - I agree with the other girls about the blood test, might help put your mind at ease. for you.
Keli - How exciting that you get to see your little bub, let us know how it goes, I love that you keep us updated.
Porsche - Thanks for all your help with my charts, they are still all over the place but more about that later. I hope everything goes well with you this cycle and that you are being added to the list as a BFP too.
Kris - I am glad you are excited about starting the clomid again. What dose and days are you on? Hopefully you get a BFP on this cycle.
Hi to everyone else. Sorry if I forgot anyone.
AFM - Well BT Friday didn't start well, I ended up with 3 holes and a couple of good bruises. 1st vein disappeared, 2nd only got 1ml of blood and the 3rd took about 10minutes to get 10ml, so should have taken it as a sign that things weren't going to go well.
Saturday night DH and I went to the local show for a night out. If one more person asks me when I was going to have a baby (or tells me to start as I'm not getting any younger) I am going to scream. I did have a good chat with a girl I use to swimming train with who is due in October. She had a lot of trouble TTC as well and has apparently been having recurring dreams about me so hopefully that is a good sign.
Sunday was spent relaxing on the couch as it was a late one the night before and I was verrrry tired. Was feeling pretty good as FF Chart predicted ovulation last Thursday based on temps.
Monday I had a day off work, luckily as Dr's office rang and shattered any hope of anything this month. BT results showed that I am still not ovulating and I have to double my dose of Clomid next month. I was pretty devastated (still am) and now have to wait for AF to arrive so I can start again.
Pumpgirl, lol that would be awesome if you had twins. I had a feeling I was too, think it was due to the excessive ms and the fact that I was on Clomid. KUP
Hope, glad to hear the spotting has stopped and you got to see the HB, that’s awesome hun.
Oh ShanShan, so sorry to hear your new hun, just one blow after another isn’t it. So what does Clomid are you up to now? I have everything crossed that next moth is a doubly good month for you hun. Hope you’re feeling better.
Hi ShanShan,
i am on 50mg of clomid, and won't need to go up as i ovulated on it. However, i have lost my repeats prescription in case i need it again! Can't find the bluming thing anywhere!!
Oh and that totally sucks about the blood tests!! I hate needles and i would have walked out if she couldn't find the vein first try!! *shudder* absolutely hate needles!!
Keli I started on 50mg so up to 100mg next month. Just starting to wish something would go my way. Isn't helping that I have nausea today.
Kris the nurse taking the blood is a friend and I actually felt bad for her cause I have dodgy veins. I usually leave with at least 2 holes. You get used to it and luckily needles don't phase me (must be all the blood tests I had as a teenager when they were trying to diagnose the fibromyalgia, lol). I used to donate blood and I am sure they used to shudder when I turned up with my dodgy veins.
