i thought it about time i came in here and said hello
a quick bit about me....i have 2 children DD4 and DS2 (nearly 5 & 3), who were conceived with clomid and i have had 3 miscarriages - nov 2009, feb 2010, may 2010 which were all natural pregnancies. i decided to try clomid again as i never had a m/c when on that, i have done 3 cycles on it, first only got to day 23 before i had even ovulated, next 2 ended on 10 dpo. tonight i have just started my 4th round of clomid although im no longer hopeful it will work, im 37 and have pcos and numerous other health complications.
im not sure what we will do if this round doesn't work, im not sure my fertility specialist will give me anymore clomid
anyway thats probably enough for now, looking forward to getting to know you all
minniemouse - WELCOME. Good Luck with clomid it sounds like you have had great success in the past hopefully it will work for you this round. Have you spoken to the fertillty specialist about what your going to do next? I have been on clomid all up with breaks in between 15 months but its just does not seem to be working for me i just had a m/c and that was a natural preg but the FS just put me on clomid again so like you no longer hopeful it will work. Wishing you Lots Of Luck with this round of clomiid FX'd it workes.
AFM - Just waiting for AF to arrive so i can start clomid again. WISHING EVERYONE LOTS OF BABY DUST AND STICKY VIBES
Welcome Minniemouse! Good luck with the clomid, theres heaps of other options if clomid doesn't work for you so hang in there
rai - Good on you for jumping back on the horse (so to speak) I have never m/c, but I am concerned because of my almost non-existent AF on clomid. I remember you said that you also have the same problem? I really hope it's sticky next time.
AFM - I'm just waiting it out. 5 DPO today. One of my best friends is due Valentines Day. I am excited for her, it's her first. But I Know i will have a tiny feeling of sadness in the back of my mind. It would just be so much easier if I knew that i was next!
Hello to everyone else and Good luck
Yeah that would be nice! Don't test! At least not untill 10DPO. It must be costing you a fortune. I was just on eBay looking at some cheap ovulation predictor kits. Last time i used them they didn't work, but that was before i started clomid. So I'm thinking about maybe using them now.
I know you've probably heard it all before, but i reckon the best way to know is to pay attention to what your body is doing. There must be a sign that your body gives you every cycle. For me it's pains. And do you count back 14 days when Af arrives? that will give you a better idea of when ovulation occurred. HTH
