But to answer your question, it is definitely possible. I have had 6 cycles on clomid now and I have had some variation on what day I ovulated (between cd16-cd21). So it's definitely possible! My FS says BD for three days after the positive OPK.

Oh Williever, I feel your pain! It just gets so robotic. My first cycle of clomid I took it days 5-9 and O'd on cd22 or 23. Every other cycle I have done days 2-6 and it's nearly always O on cd18 and a 32 day cycle.
I don't even know exactly when i O, I just go by the pain and AF arrives 14 days after the pain so I figure it has to be the day with pain.
