LT TTC & Taking Clomid/Metformin #6

Maruschke & M2osb, sorry to hear I think all of us have just about had enough!

AFM, 12DPO and I feel nothing. That's how I know AF is coming because I never have AF symptoms. So I never get AF and PG symptoms confused because there are no AF symptoms. No cramps, no sore boobs, no bloating, no nothing.
This will be my last attempt at improving chances. I am buying DH some zinc, another tube of pre-seed, I'm taking EPO and a multi and have just ordered some OPK's from eBay. Thought I'd give them another try, maybe my body has sorted it's hormones out!

Tasha how many more rounds of clomid are you doing?

I had a big cry with DH tonight. TTC just sucks.

It sucks! I have two more rounds and then back to the FS.

DH came back from his brothers last night. He was holding their new born baby all night. I keep telling him to stop drinking alcohol, just to see if it will help us, but so far half a bottle of scotch Friday night with a mate, 6 beers Sat night, 6 beers yesterday and more at his brothers last night!!! I could just slap him silly.

You are doing IUI aren't you? looks like thats what we will be trying.

Ahh I can imagine that would be so frustrating for you . Yes we are onto IUI soon, we found a place cheap enough to justify a few cycles before we go onto bigger scarier things O.o.

Seeing that i ovluated on my own last cycle, do you think I should get back on clomid this cycle or go natural again this cycle?

i gotta decide today as today is CD 4.

Dont know what to do.

Hmm I'd be tempted to try naturally... since clomid can interfere with CM. Although, clomid stays in the system about 5 weeks so perhaps you ovulated on your own because there were still drugs left over from the cycle before it? Sorry, I'm not much help!

mum2onesweetbun: why are you on clomid in you are ovulating on your own ? i'd probably take it if you have it but then i have wasted time on natural cycles that have gotten me nowhere

Maruschke: sorry to hear about the bfn at 13 dpo and the spotting, i hope it doesn't turn into full af. im living in ttc suckville with you atm


tasha: i would want to slap your dh too, must be so frustrating when you are doing what you can and he isn't trying at all to cut down (or cut out) drinking.

afm: day 18 and o sign of ovulation yet, will be starting the bding tonight, just couldn't bring ourselves to start too early this cycle.
do you girls know anything about vit b 6 to lengthen your luteal phase or progesterone cream to increase your progesterone level ?

M2osb, I am going to use the next 2 cycles I have of clomid. Then when they have finished I will try a few natural cycles. Maruschke has a point though, clomid does stay in your system for a bit. I too am paranoid my cycles wont come back if I stop!

Mollie, I have a 32 day cycle with CD18 as my O day and this month I ovulated on day21.

M2osb, maruschke, Tasha - Yeap i feel the same way so over TTC this sucks it just should not be this bloody hard. I have decided to keep going till my July AF if i'm not pg after July AF i'm giving up its too hard emotionally to keep trying this long.

Tasha - My DP drinks about the same as yours but because his SA came back good even with his drinking he wont give up or cut down. I tried to talk to him yesterday about IUI again and he said that he does not think he should have to when its obviously my fault were not pg which when you think about it his right so i'm just about to give up on trying to get him to help me

M2osb - I was going to agree with maruschke about a natural round till i read that your AF is so long without clomid so now i dont know sorry but good luck with what ever you decide have you taken EPO it is good i have taken it before for CM

marusche - I'm so sorry AF showed, not sure about taking clomid this round or going natural, natural is good and clomid will still be in your system but clomid might increase your chances of a BFP i have not been helpful i'm sorry but good luck with what you decide

AFM - 8DPO and lots of symptoms in my stupid head but in reality not any godness i hate the 2ww. We need some BFP to cheer us up girls so good luck to everyone and lots of

Oh rai, *hugs* send him over for a kick up the butt!! along with my DH!!
I just got some pages up on the net about how alcohol affects sperm mobility. Alcohol prevents the body from absorbing zinc, and zinc helps make strong swimmers! i am buying some for DH this week.
