My little boy is 4 today i cant believe it. Sorry i have been a bit slack with catching up lately first DP was really sick and now my poor little boy has been really sick with asthma.

Tasha - His good thanks it took 2 weeks though for him to get better but thank goodness he is now better. I also have problems with opk's last month was all over the place for me with opk's. I done an opk this afternoon and it was neg which just never happens i always O around day 12-13 and its day 12 today but i did for the first time ever take clomid a day late on day 3 instead of day 2 so i'm assuming i will hopefully be O'ing on sunday as well. `GOOD LUCK CATCHING THE EGG THIS WEEKEND.

That's good news, but not about the OPK's. I have the same problem, I tested positive tuesday and thursday and negative today. And I am due to O on Sunday! Even though they were positive I know I wasn't ovulating. So frustrating! Good luck!

I still lurk on this thread to see how you are all going!! I just thought I should mention about the OPKs and ovulation, there is a good chance the tests are right. Ovulation days changed for me almost every time on clomid. Maybe you should get a sneaky BD or two in today!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Just a bit of a selfish vent.. I got an positive OPK on CD 16 AND a temp dip, Plus Pain in my side so thought yay, I have O'd.. Then I had 2 raised temps then this morning it's LOW again.. I know that a one off dip doesn't matter but, FF hasn't detected ovulation yet.. I really hope clomid is working I guess I'll find out from my bloods which I will be having on Monday Feeling frustrated!

Blessedatlast, Don't stress, my first cycle of clomid my BT suggested that I didn't O. But the next cycle was all good. I think it may just take a cycle to start working. Good luck and FX

Thanks Tasha and Yas.. I was just sooo sure I had O'd because I displayed 3 symptoms at the same time, the temp dip, positive OPK and the pain was excruciating.. I haven't had pain like that before. Plus I was sooo bloated.. Oh well, I just have to relax I suppose.. I didn't expect to see a BFP this 1st cycle, but confirmation that the clomid is doing something would be nice! Lol

Hello just checking in,

hiding under my rock is not really working for me... sticking my head in the sand will not make this go away ... so i decided to dust my self off once more and just focus at one step at a time... as O is coming up BD is step #1 and then i am off to my Gyno on the 4th of April...

Tash - My gyno did a CD 3 Blood test to check my hormone levels as i have changed my Dr ( did not really like my FS ) it showed that i have a FSH level of 28 ( should be around 9 ? ) and in connection with another BT i had reg my AMH which was way to low it confirms that my ovarian reserve is diminishing fast ... like someone going through menopause ... so time is running out despite the fact that i am only 32.

Gecko, Im not to sure about what all the tests mean, but i think I understand. My FS had a bunch of tests done when I started clomid and I have no Idea what they were! Good luck if your about to O, maybe stand on your head afterwards? Seriously, I am going to try it this month, heard it has worked!

Yas: hello lovely, im on day 5 of clomid today but not expecting to ovulate for another 2 weeks, stupid long cycle ! anyway seeing the new dr tomorrow and hoping for more luck with the progesterone issue

afm: as i said off to the new specialist tomorrow, planning on writing a list of things i want to ask her so i don't forget anything although my main thing will be please give me some progesterone !

minnie, good luck with the new FS, don't let them cut you short, ask all you want! They all just want to get you in and out ASAP, and you still have to pay ridiculous amounts! My first visit cost me $150 and it went for about 5-10 minutes, tops.
And yes I am due to ovulate today, but so far no pains yet. Although last cycle I O'd 3 days late so maybe it will be late again. Ovulating on a weekend is a bonus because you have more free time and can stay up late!

MinnieMouse - If I did in fact O on day 16 I should be right we BD'd on day 15 and 17.. If I O'd yesterday though, it's no go.. He is abstaining for his Analysis Wednesday...

ETA: On that note, has anyone else found it difficult to get their DH/DP to have a semen analysis? It has been like pulling teeth for me, In fact I think he would rather I pulled his teeth!! He comes up with EVERY excuse to delay it.. Wish me luck, hope that he sticks to Wednesday as I have an OB app on the 28th so hopefully the results will be back of both my bloods and his analysis..

Gecko - What was your AMH results? My FSH is around 6-7 but i had a AMH test done and my results were 11 which my FS told me i had diminishing ovarian reserve. Good On You for not letting this get you down and to keep trying. I know i'm not going to be much help with this but i have read somewhere that people can lower there FSH not sure how it was done but could google it

Tasha - Yes i have heard standing on your head works i have tried this many times but has not worked for me but good luck hope it works for you

blessedatlast - Funny you should ask that took me 2.5 years to get DP to do a SA. I agree pulling teeth would have been better and less painful

AFM: i have given up this month still have not got a positive OPK and this has never happened before so maybe just did not O this month or i missed it or it has not happened yet honestly dont know and dont care. But i do know i will make sure i take clomid on day 2 from now on. Good Luck to everyone and lots of baby dust xxxx

Tash - i begin to think that the less we know about all the test results the better… let the Dr figure it out …as we cant do much else apart from trying to be positive and BD like crazy and follow Dr orders … will defiantly try the legs up in the air thing LOL

MinnieM - good luck with your new Dr today i hope you guys will "hit it off" it is so important to have a Dr you like … i just changed mine too because we did not really like our last one. My new one gave me his card at the end and told me that i can call or e-mail him when ever i need anything real sweet !

BAL - mine was not too keen on the cup exercise either, but once he knew that we can do it at home and then just drive the "presses goods" to the dock he was ok with it. we still laugh about it know, because i was making jokes that i will be pulled over by the cops for speeding, and that i would be a smart ass asking for an escort LOL … but all went well got there in time, no cops and of course i had to go in and drop it off lol. good luck with it !!

Rai, i think mine were as scary low as 1.8 AMH :-( cant quite remember as its a year ago and he slap the "you only have 6 month left time frame" on me - i remember that part clearly ….well that is 12 month ago now… and my m/c in between… but the thing is one test like this on its own is not much to go by but i had 3 different ones and all have now indicated the same thing… that i am running short of eggs, so i better hurry up and catch myself one good one !
The thing with FSH the DR always go by the highest number you had, it always fluctuates… and there is no real point for me to get it down as i have no time to waste i either get lucky this month or have to try something more aggressive next cycle - will have to trust my Dr. if that does not work too i will have to learn to let go…and just remind myself that i am blessed in every other way in my life.

AFM : Well i am off to work, Happy Monday ! my next 2 weeks will be full on, so time should fly … and it will be the 4th of April before i know it ! between now and then DH is on the menu ! LOL will try to have him for dessert every day this week …wish me luck hehe

I am on my phone so this is a short one but I just wanted to say that the fs that did my transfer said fsh and amh levels are indicative only. He said antral follicle count is a better indication of ovarian reserve. In my case I have not responded that well to the ivf stim drugs even though my fsh is 5.5 and amh 17.4. Have you had an antral follicle count? May be worth looking into. Thanks also for your well wishes although I dont hold out much hope


Please go easy on your dh. You may need him in the coming months

Rai - Glad I'm not the only one that has trouble getting a S/A

Gecko - Yes that would be funny, having a police escort.. I can picture it now! It has been made easy for us too, all he has to do is provide the sample at home and I take it in!!

I find it soo frustrating that I have had countless VE's blood tests, U/S and now I'm on this clomid which makes me bloated and moody, and all he has to do is come in a cup!!! Sorry to be so blunt, but you would think I was asking him perform a miracle!! Anyway, Wednesday is the day, then results on the following Tuesday.. Fingers crossed for next cycle I had another temp dip today so even if I did O i am definitely not pg..
