Hopefully i get a job soon and a BFP!

Thats if DH doesnt change his mind about ttc!

Best of luck for everyone else! oxoxo

Good luck on the job hunting M2OSB I too am looking for a new job. I can't handle where I am anymore. I'm sick still and know I'll be given a horrible run today when I go back to work because 'I've had the time off work, therefore I should be better'

Mel - I'm really happy for you! Here's hoping it's your month!

I'm on CD2 - Started the Metformin yesterday, got my CD21 blood tests results back and the progesterone level of 1 so I had no chance last cycle

I'm also not in a great place because I just found out that someone I thought was a friend b**ched about me on another public forum. She got the whole story wrong (which was posted on my blog) and the responses from the other people were just horrible!
She also said something along the lines of 'It seems like it's her place to vent, so I can't blame her for posting but I can't believe she said this stuff' But, I said in a blog previous to that 'I know it all seems negative at the moment, but I promise I will post a few good and happy blog posts soon'
Anyways, I've figured out (thanks to a friend) who it is and have defriended them off Facebook, am about to leave there forums that they run and am blocking them from reading my blog, especially if that's how they're going to be

Damn DD, you dont need that stress at the moment. Try not to let little people bother you so you can have healthy stress free eggs =)

They arent worth the effort if they are going to b about you behind your back.

Are you getting any side effects with Metformin?

Nah, I'm not going to let it bother me atm. I've got too much on my plate to deal with.

My GP (who was also in obstetrics before becoming a GP) said that I'll either get nauseous or off my food for a few days.. I've been getting the nauseous side effect, but I can handle it cause of the tablets I'm having for the bronchitis make me feel a bit nauseous too.

Hey girls what would you do if you dont know a bleed is AF or severe ovulation bleeding?

My cycle has been over 50 days and I got medium bleeding but my fertility monitor says my fertility is high.

Would you start clomid if you are unsure what time of bleed you are having?

I also have PCOS if that helps

M2osb- I'd prob go to drs and make sure it was af... They can check your levels of your hormones via b/t.

What days would you start clomid?

mum2onesweetbun: does your fertility monitor usually work accurately for you ? only reason i ask is im not sure not sure how reliable things like that are with pcos. what did it say today ?

lysndan: are you in the 2ww ?

nothing2lose: how are you going in the 2ww ?

afm: day 34, no af, no ovulation, don't know what is going on, i have never not ovulated on clomid and i have taken it on and off for 6 years !

It did work for me when I was on Clomid but I am not sure if it works works because my normal cycles are very long and unpredictable.

Spotting today not bleeding and it still says high fertility.

Im going to see a GP on Monday to get another ultrasound referral. Ive been spotting on and off for way too long - 1 month.

GL LynsDan, hoping this month is your month!

Minnie, how are you monitoring your ovulation? would there be a possible chance of being utd?

minnie, I've got the 500mg tablets and I'm supposed to have half a tablet twice a day for one week then 1 tablet twice a day after a few days (which I've started)
I'm still having the nausea, but I'm dealing with it cause it doesn't bother me too much. AF has almost left, here's hoping this works for me! *crosses fingers*

Utterly devastated. After your reply lynsdan, I did some research and found out that pcos is likely to cause high estrogen levels. So my reliant on the monitor has totally been a waste.

now I dont know where I am in my cycle to start clomid or provera.
60 days with on and off spotting and one day blood clot.

I really dont want to go bacl to my fs because I cant afford it at the moment.

im going to see gp tomowwor torequest an ultrasound.

do you know if a normal gp can tell where in the cycle I am?

nothings happening for me this year, I feel so devastated esp when all my friend are having their second child already when dd is the oldest in the group.

    M2OSB- I'm so sorry sweet.

I went to my gp and just got a pathology request form and they did tests to measure lh e2 (estradiol) and progesterone. That should tell you where you are in your cycle. As I thought I was cd7 but was in fact cd11 (I thought my early spotting was just spotting, it was in fact af! So now I count my af as the first day of red blood even if it's spotting!) I'd certainly request an ultrasound as well honey.

I really really hope that you are able to tell what's going on. But yes your gp should be able to help you.

I hope your ok sweety. Xxx

mumtoonesweetbun: sorry to hear the monitor has been misleading you, i thought i would mention it because i have heard before that maybe baby doesn't work well with pcos so i thought it might be the same for what you were using. i know how frustrating and upsetting ttc (& pcos) can be
to answer your question i did a hpt but it is negative so im putting the strangeness down to pcos

darkdreamer: i take 850mg metformin twice a day, hope it helps you !

    lysndan: fingers crossed for you

afm: another day, still don't know whats happening ! have some discomfort so thought i would see af but haven't yet

    Hey ladies,

I'm not holding my breath for this cycle. It's only my first on clomid and I'm not expecting miracles. I'm just happy my body responded to it and got truly positive Opks for the first time ever!

So I got onto eBay today, ordered more poas opks and hpts and cloth pads and liners (realized how much I was going through disposable pads and i know it sounds gross but I will be using in conjunction with a menstrual cup) evidently they don't muck around with your hormones and dry you up like regular tampons. So if af comes I'll be well prepared. If not, I have them here for next time.

I hope you are all well my lovely ladies. Xox take care

M2OSB, use the script for provera! Hugs to you, I know how you feel, nothings happening for me either and this is my final clomid cycle. Been laying low as I have nothing to say really. Really, use the provera. At least then you will know where your at in your cycle and not be left in the dark. If you are unsure, ask your GP.

I am a sucker for romance.. Long story short (x?) DP and I just had the most romantic weekend.. He booked a room on the 18th floor Ocean view of a motel here on the Goldy, when I arrived after work on Sat night there was a bubble bath and a bottle of champagne ready... Anyway, looks like this cyle of clomid wasn't wasted after all. I had a positive OPK yesterday and I was with him from Fri night til today.. So maybe baby?? If it doesn't work this cycle though it'll be on the back burner for a while, I know TTC is not the most responsible thing to do with the way my relationship is ATM, but heart or head?? It's hard.. Plus I had already taken clomid.. Didn't wanna waste it! I also know if I did get a BFP, I would love my baby no matter the circumstances and I would manage, single or not.. Not ideal I know, but I have always had it in the back of my mind that I would absolutely be willing to be a single Mummy if that's what happened..

BAL - I hope you become a mummy again soon xoxo. I agree with your decision, there is never a "right time" to have a child, life will adjust itself when it happens.

So i went to the GP and getting an ultrasound done this afternoon. She said that blood tests wont detect anything, what a load of crap =(

I hate pelvic ultrasounds because i have a weak bladder and need to drink 1 litre of water!
