Sorry ladies i havent been much of support. My non clomid cycle is at 42 days and still no signs of AF.
Got made redundant last Wed also so devastated and it means I won the able to try until i find another job.

It's a long journey - especially as we don't know what our ultimate destination will be. All we can do is take comfort in the fact that we don't have to travel alone.

Yeh i was still browsing but didnt have anything to report. I sooo regret not talking clomid. Now i am stuck in limbo again. Hopefully this cycle doesnt last 3 months again.
Stay strong minniemouse, sometimes when im about to ovulate i get period signs so hopefully you get a positive sign soon.
rai and Mum2, good luck in whatever you decide to do. After a while you just feel like giving up, I know how that feels. Mum2 sorry about your job. Have you considered provera? I have one more cycle on clomid and then I think we may hold off before going back to FS to take the next step.

Had my first tracking blood test today... Fun. Another week or so of daily blood tests and then a day 21 blood test! Eek! I hope this month is the month. My work mates now know :( as I was late to work cos I had to have the blood test today... Arghhhhhh! Didn't want them to know. Now there going to ask me "are you up the duff yet?" blah blah blah..... Oh well!

Yep, doing IVF. On my third cycle at the moment.
I hang around in here a bit still though because I am the designated moderator for this thread (and, having done six clomid cycles myself, I like to help with info as I can!!)
I have my FET transfer tomorrow if everything goes according to plan.
Ok today's blood tests have come in ... According to the lab they think I'm ovulating today?!? I'm at cd7 (well I was spotting about 3 days before then, so I started clomid on my full flow!) I could be on cd10/11... They want me to go in on Monday for another b/test to check the results.
Here were the bloods they took today-
E2-781
Progesterone- 2.5
LH- 12
Will update on Monday arvo when I know what's going on!

Hmmm that's unusual that they think you have ovulated Lysndan.
Usually without medication, progesterone needs to be over 10 to indicate ovulation. With medication it usually needs to be over 20.
Same with LH. It has to be over 20 to indicate a surge (prior to ovulation).
Do you normally ovulate so early?
N2L I'm sorry I must have typed it wrong on my phone they think I'm ovulating now... So, my test on Monday should be higher.
I'm just going off what they tell me!?!?! I have no idea what unit of measure they are using they just told me to have sex tonight and tomorrow and get myself tested again on Monday to confirm levels are higher.
The main level apparently to confirm o is your e2 level apparently as the lab said it has to be more than 700. Mine was 781?

Just a quick one - POAS this morning and BFN but feel like it was a waste of time as I had spotting afterwards. I expect AF to be in full flow by the end of the day. But that's ok, because that means I can start my first cycle of Metformin today ;) Now, to find the perscription, and as long as AF is gone by the 20th of this month (because it's my birthday and I want some loving :p) I'll be happy.
Now a question - Do I have to stop the Metformin after a certain time in my cycle or do I have to just keep taking it regardless? And I don't remember what my gyno said was the dosage, he said something like start with half a tab once a day (or twice a day, I don't remember) then the next week go up to one tablet a day and then go up to one a half... He said something like it should result in me having like 3 in a day or something. Any help with that?
And can I ring up somewhere to ask what my CD21 test results were?
darkdreamer: its a good idea to start on a low dose of metformin to try and reduce side effects like nausea & diarrhoea and increase it slowly. you keep taking it throughout the whole cycle (i took it the whole way through my 1st pregnancy, that is controversial though). good luck !

Kinda both. My gyno said I had high insulin levels, but he was testing me for PCOS, so I'd be leaning more towards the PCOS side

Minnie mouse- I screwed up where I was in my cycle ... Apparently my levels showed that I was further along in my cycle then I thought I was? I thought I was cd7 when I went for my blood test, turns out I was cd11... Today I'm cd14! Got my baby dance on last night (and not to mention all week!) dh leaves for work tomorrow morning so my last chance to bd is tonight!

Still job hunting. Today I felt really wet and went to use my fertility monitor and it seems ive got High fertility!! Waiting to ovulate. Something must have stuffed up with my cycle as i am supposedly on CD like 50 or something so i adjusted my FF lol.
Hopefully i get a job soon and a BFP!
Thats if DH doesnt change his mind about ttc!

I'm on CD2 - Started the Metformin yesterday, got my CD21 blood tests results back and the progesterone level of 1 so I had no chance last cycle :(
I'm also not in a great place because I just found out that someone I thought was a friend b**ched about me on another public forum. She got the whole story wrong (which was posted on my blog) and the responses from the other people were just horrible!
She also said something along the lines of 'It seems like it's her place to vent, so I can't blame her for posting but I can't believe she said this stuff' But, I said in a blog previous to that 'I know it all seems negative at the moment, but I promise I will post a few good and happy blog posts soon'
Anyways, I've figured out (thanks to a friend) who it is and have defriended them off Facebook, am about to leave there forums that they run and am blocking them from reading my blog, especially if that's how they're going to be

Nah, I'm not going to let it bother me atm. I've got too much on my plate to deal with.
My GP (who was also in obstetrics before becoming a GP) said that I'll either get nauseous or off my food for a few days.. I've been getting the nauseous side effect, but I can handle it cause of the tablets I'm having for the bronchitis make me feel a bit nauseous too.

Hey girls what would you do if you dont know a bleed is AF or severe ovulation bleeding?
My cycle has been over 50 days and I got medium bleeding but my fertility monitor says my fertility is high.
Would you start clomid if you are unsure what time of bleed you are having?
I also have PCOS if that helps
