M2osb- I'd prob go to drs and make sure it was af... They can check your levels of your hormones via b/t.
What days would you start clomid?

mum2onesweetbun: does your fertility monitor usually work accurately for you ? only reason i ask is im not sure not sure how reliable things like that are with pcos. what did it say today ?
lysndan: are you in the 2ww ?
nothing2lose: how are you going in the 2ww ?
afm: day 34, no af, no ovulation, don't know what is going on, i have never not ovulated on clomid and i have taken it on and off for 6 years !
Minnie- yeah I'm in my tww.

It did work for me when I was on Clomid but I am not sure if it works works because my normal cycles are very long and unpredictable.
Spotting today not bleeding and it still says high fertility.
Im going to see a GP on Monday to get another ultrasound referral. Ive been spotting on and off for way too long - 1 month.
GL LynsDan, hoping this month is your month!
Minnie, how are you monitoring your ovulation? would there be a possible chance of being utd?
minnie, I've got the 500mg tablets and I'm supposed to have half a tablet twice a day for one week then 1 tablet twice a day after a few days (which I've started)
I'm still having the nausea, but I'm dealing with it cause it doesn't bother me too much. AF has almost left, here's hoping this works for me! *crosses fingers*
Utterly devastated. After your reply lynsdan, I did some research and found out that pcos is likely to cause high estrogen levels. So my reliant on the monitor has totally been a waste.
now I dont know where I am in my cycle to start clomid or provera.
60 days with on and off spotting and one day blood clot.
I really dont want to go bacl to my fs because I cant afford it at the moment.
im going to see gp tomowwor torequest an ultrasound.
do you know if a normal gp can tell where in the cycle I am?
nothings happening for me this year, I feel so devastated esp when all my friend are having their second child already when dd is the oldest in the group.
M2OSB- I'm so sorry sweet.
I went to my gp and just got a pathology request form and they did tests to measure lh e2 (estradiol) and progesterone. That should tell you where you are in your cycle. As I thought I was cd7 but was in fact cd11 (I thought my early spotting was just spotting, it was in fact af! So now I count my af as the first day of red blood even if it's spotting!) I'd certainly request an ultrasound as well honey.
I really really hope that you are able to tell what's going on. But yes your gp should be able to help you.
I hope your ok sweety. Xxx

mumtoonesweetbun: sorry to hear the monitor has been misleading you, i thought i would mention it because i have heard before that maybe baby doesn't work well with pcos so i thought it might be the same for what you were using. i know how frustrating and upsetting ttc (& pcos) can be
to answer your question i did a hpt but it is negative so im putting the strangeness down to pcos
darkdreamer: i take 850mg metformin twice a day, hope it helps you !
lysndan: fingers crossed for you
afm: another day, still don't know whats happening ! have some discomfort so thought i would see af but haven't yet
Hey ladies,
I'm not holding my breath for this cycle. It's only my first on clomid and I'm not expecting miracles. I'm just happy my body responded to it :) and got truly positive Opks for the first time ever!
So I got onto eBay today, ordered more poas opks and hpts and cloth pads and liners (realized how much I was going through disposable pads and i know it sounds gross but I will be using in conjunction with a menstrual cup) evidently they don't muck around with your hormones and dry you up like regular tampons. So if af comes I'll be well prepared. If not, I have them here for next time.
I hope you are all well my lovely ladies. Xox take care :)

M2OSB, use the script for provera! Hugs to you, I know how you feel, nothings happening for me either and this is my final clomid cycle. Been laying low as I have nothing to say really. Really, use the provera. At least then you will know where your at in your cycle and not be left in the dark. If you are unsure, ask your GP.
I am a sucker for romance.. Long story short (x?) DP and I just had the most romantic weekend.. He booked a room on the 18th floor Ocean view of a motel here on the Goldy, when I arrived after work on Sat night there was a bubble bath and a bottle of champagne ready... Anyway, looks like this cyle of clomid wasn't wasted after all. I had a positive OPK yesterday and I was with him from Fri night til today.. So maybe baby?? If it doesn't work this cycle though it'll be on the back burner for a while, I know TTC is not the most responsible thing to do with the way my relationship is ATM, but heart or head?? It's hard.. Plus I had already taken clomid.. Didn't wanna waste it! I also know if I did get a BFP, I would love my baby no matter the circumstances and I would manage, single or not.. Not ideal I know, but I have always had it in the back of my mind that I would absolutely be willing to be a single Mummy if that's what happened..
BAL - I hope you become a mummy again soon xoxo. I agree with your decision, there is never a "right time" to have a child, life will adjust itself when it happens.
So i went to the GP and getting an ultrasound done this afternoon. She said that blood tests wont detect anything, what a load of crap =(
I hate pelvic ultrasounds because i have a weak bladder and need to drink 1 litre of water!
Thanks for your support M2OSB.. FF detected O on Friday and technically we DTD on Sat, it was about 2am though.. My opk was positive Saturday so I am not sure which one to go by! If I did in fact O on Friday the chance of conceiving would be low :( Anyway, just have to wait and see I s'pose..
Still a high chance, The egg would have been able to survive for 24 hrs if O was detected by FF, and if your OPK was right then the sperm would have survived for 5 days! Ill shoo AF away for you, she can come visit me instead =)
Hi Ladies
went for an ultrasound today and luckily they didnt find anything for my irregular bleeding. GP advise me not to go on clomid though and just take diabex (she even suggested the PILL!)
Anyway, if its ok with you ladies i wont be on clomid but want to stalk you guys still =)
Happier today as they found nothing irregular (apart from the PCOS on both ovaries which i already knew)
Hi everyone. Hope your all well. Bit of a selfish post coming up but need to get it out.. Sorry for lack of persies I'll try to log on soon :)
Well 6dpo and I had the urge to test again (because this morning I felt a tad sick in the tummy!) - I know, stupid idea. It was of course a :bfn: :( so I've got plenty of pregnancy tests here. But I am not expecting miracles out of this cycle. I mean, id love to be pregnant and tell DH on our first wedding anniversary that were having a baby, but I got to be realistic hey. Our luck and chances of conception are 22 percent each Month. I'm pretty sure our chances drop as were on clomid?....
At least I have got positives out of this cycle, even if no baby eventuates....
- hoping to have a nice long lp!
- ovulated mid cycle when I was supposed to! Waiting on bt to confirm!
- got very strong opks! Good lh surge. (fade in fade out pattern)
We shall see what the future holds.

M2OSB - Glad nothing more sinister was found. GL on Diabex..
Lynsdan - 6DPO is very early! There is still a chance. Yas got a BFP on 9DPO and it was really feint, so you never know. I know what it's like to get your hopes up though and it would be beautiful to tell your DH on your anniversary! When is it? Great news that your body has responded to the clomid though.. At least that's something. We are kind of in the same boat.
FF changed my O date to day 15 to coincide with +OPK when I entered my temp this morning, so thats good. I am trying to tune into my body and see if I 'feel' pregnant, and nah, I can't 'feel' anything except wishful thinking lol.. I'm going to try and hold out testing til at least 14DPO. Wish me luck with that! ;)
Blessed- my anniversary is on the 27-4 :)
Af would be due that day or the day after :(
And how many dpo are you? Are we cycle buddies ? X

I am 3DPO.. Congratulations on your 1st anniversary :) STAY AWAY AF!!!! That would be the best anniversary present!
Ok I Said I wasn't going to over analyze... But...
Either I'm expecting af real soon or I'm utd...
I had bulk cm (creamy) tmi alert... It felt like I wet myself! That is all the symptoms I've had apart from feeling bleh early this morning.
Hrmmm... Waiting, waiting... I hate the tww!

Six days past ovulation is too early for pg symptoms. The body would not be producing hcg.
I know that n2l im not silly I just tested cos I'm a total poas addict.
And pg women have reported that they have symptoms like me eg creamy cm and loads of it after ovulation!
Just a thought my words don't need to be picked on.

Morning beautiful ladies.
I had my cd21 bloods today. I hope they show i ovulated because I really think I did!
And the wait continues.
7dpo...
7 days till i can test... Im thinking that I might test at 13dpo (6days time) because I really dont want yet another downer on my wedding anniversary. Its bad enough not having my hubby home for it :(
HURRY UP NEXT WEEK! You're lagging! HAHA
Hrmmm tired after that blood test. And the lady couldnt find my veins either. Looked at my form as i signed the medicare bit down the bottom and she had written "difficullt bleed" oh deary me! lol
Will update when I have my results from the lab. I should get them this arvo.
Ill stalk you. Goodluck hun!
Wow that's great you get your results so quick! My day 21 is on good friday, I am glad that pathology will be open from 8 til 12, I thought I would miss out.. Anyway, my results wont be back til the end of next week I'd say with all the public holidays. Although i think I O'd I do not feel like this cycle has worked.. I am having a crappy day though, so maybe that's why.. While AF isn't here there is hope!
I'm having a generally crappy day today.. I just want to go to sleep and wake up when Mothers day and Easter is over.. It would be nice to wake up pregnant too ;) (and a lottery win maybe)
Blessed- My lab tests are all "lab managed" so i dont have to go back to the doctor and generally get the results on the same day as long as i have my test before 9am (before the courier driver gets to that particular centre) the lab just calls me and tells me what the result is.
you can get these done at any path lab. Just needs to have on the form that your on clomid and undertaking ovulation tracking (LH, E2, and progesterone) and the magical words "Lab management"
Big hugs hun - i know how you feel about mothers day and easter.... it would be nice to wake up pregnant.... wouldnt it? xox
BAL - Massive hugs x
I am sorry to hear you are having a bad day :( Keep your chin up because, as you said, it's not over until AF arrives. So you never know....
I really hope this month is your month!
Take care x

Plan of attack today is going to this job interview. You know how I thought I wouldnt be worthy in here well I just realised diabex is metformin lo l
so sticking around here but not only am I Sir stalkalot to lynsdan, im also Sir crapalot from the diabex. Not good when im going for interviews!
Best of luck at your interview M2OSB!!!!!!!!
I will keep everything crossed for you x :)
So girls, looks like I will be rejoining this thread very soon to TTC bubba #2!!!
I was so upset the other week when I rung to make an appoint with my ob/gyn and was told the earliest appoint I could get was 5.5 months away 26th Sept!!! So I went to my gp this morn and told her this and she said she is happy to monitor me on the clomid since it is such a long wait till I can see him, but I needed to call to ask his secretary to ask him if she could do this. I am currently up to day 44 with no ovulation in sight!
So I rung and spoke to his secretary and she spoke to him and called me back to say because he knows me so well (after a zillion appoints the last few years before my daughter) I don't need a long appointment so told his secretary to squeeze me in asap cause he wants to see me himself to talk clomid, pregnancy and pcos again!!!!!
I could have gone next friday but I am working so I am going Tuesday May 17th!!! I am so excited - now I have something to look forward too. I now hope I don't get AF before then (would be day 72) as I need to wait for AF to begin the clomid, so if I got it soon then I would possible have to wait ages to actually start the tablets!!!!
Ohhhh, what a good day, hopefully with the drugs I can get my body dropping the eggies in no time!!!
Looking forward to getting to know you all!!
Hi Erybery :)
Welcome to the thread!
Hope AF stays away and you can start Clomid really soon.
Take care x
n2l
hi girls,
not a good day here, because i was on cycle day 36 with no sign of ovulation or af i had hormone blood tests done, unfortunately it has shown really high prolactin levels which would be why i haven't ovulated, it may also mean i have a pituitary tumour (again), i had a ct scan this morning and may need an mri, i hope it isn't a tumour again but my levels are pretty high
lysndan: good news on ovulating
sorry for no more personals, im a bit down about it all
Minnie I'm sorry to hear today isn't a good day. I hope you feel better soon x
If you want to talk my inbox is always open xx

Lynsdan- was stalking and just had to reply and tell you I had HEAPS of creamy cm about 5dpo. I also had a few queasy moments and started peeing more- this I noticed at 7 dpo. I didn't test until 9dpo- it was VERY feint as BAL said.
Good luck Hun, I'm crossing everything praying it's bfp symptoms!
Mm- huge hugs Hun! :( that's horrible, r u ok?
N2L- good luck this cycle Hun, I hope AF doesn't show her ugly face! Congrats on the mod role :) p.s is this your first transfer?
My phone is about to die so hi to everyone I missed! Xxxxx
Yas- thankyou for that. :) glad to hear someone else had these symptoms too!
I dont want to look into it too much. But i probably will I've also thought about testing at 9-10dpo... Not sure yet. See how I go. I have had niggly cramps and pulling sensation from my belly button too? No idea. Maybe something I ate. But hoping for a bfp.

Erybery - Hi :) I hope your stay is short.
Minniemouse - I'm so sorry to read your bad news. it's not a tumour.
Lynsdan - Great news on your progesterone.. I heart clomid too. I'll heart it even more if I'm baking a bubba.. I will let you know what my progesterone results are when I eventually get them.. I'll probably have POAS by then!!! No no no, I am going to WAIT!!!!
M2OSB - How'd the interview go? (I can't believe I didn't click that diabex is metformin, and I'm supposed to be a nurse soon!!)
AFM - Not much since this morning, just having a stalk. Been working and have to work tomorrow and Friday. Can't wait to have Saturday off..
HI everyone, hope your all doing well. I haven't had much to say lately, just been working and we are moving in 2 weeks so we have to pack.
Welcome erybery, wishing you lots of luck on your clomid cycles :)
Minniemouse, sorry to hear your news, I really hope everything turns out ok for you.
AFM, unsure even what CD I am as I haven't really looked at my calendar. I think I'm CD12 or 13 so just waiting.
Good luck to all :)
Minnie i hope and hope its not a tumor again for you
A warm welcome Erybery
Lynsdan - Great news! I love it when we ovulate LOL
The interview went fine, it was with a recruiter. Man i dont know how i am suppose to "relax" and stress less when i have so much going on around me (family issues as well) to even concentrate on ttc.
Anyway, enough of my boo hooing.
BAL I didnt realise too, somehow i though metformin was just another brand of clomid lol
Im hoping we get some graduates from this thread very soon. With the long weekend coming up, lets hope we umm ... reproduce like rabbits? LOL
