LT TTC Two Week Wait 2010 #3

Hi ladies

Happy I'm sure you are getting nervous now on the home stretch hopefully everything goes well on Monday for you. I've done back to back transfers before andhaven't had to see FS as long as my next cycle had been recorded so the nurses could tell me what to do. I might be worth talking to your nurses on Monday morning.

Oneday how are you going honey hope your still staying positive.

AFM that damn cough has finally stopped which is great but now I'm dealing with a runny nose when will it all end. AM starting to get nervous now and feeling like AF may be coming don't know whether that's just my head playing games with me or not. Anyway AF was due today so the longer it stays away the more hope of a BFP on Wednesday

Happybaby, very exciting not long keep positive. Yes you can do a back cycle when going from FET to FET and i went straight into it from my 1st FET, i got my period a day after my BT and then started the meds the next day and i dont see anything wrong with it cause thats when i got my BFP :)
Terry i am feeling more positive thanks, the cramping and back pain has stopped sometimes i get a few pinching feelings but im trying to tell my self its implantation? I have everything crossed that your nasty AF stays away :)
Amy, welcome theres only the 4 of us at the moment so nice you could join us! how exciting and dont be nervous you will be fine. The 2ww is the hardest part but your the closest to hopefully having your little bunle of joy so its a great feeling too xx

Well I had transfer this morning. I have to say it was quite unpleasant (this isnt to scare you all!).

Apparently I have a sideways cervix so it hurt when they inserted whatever it is that they insert into my uterus.

Ill pop a photo of it on my blog, its very cool :)

Hey Amy, you poor thing, my transfers are as simple as a pap smear and i dont feel a thing. The worst part for me is having a half full bladder and feeling like im going to wee on my DR lol. I have heard of this before though. Im glad everything elso went ok for you and i hope your 2ww isnt too long :)
Terry and Happybaby, how are you both going? have you been tempted by the POAS yet? iv been thinking about doing one but i think i want to try and wait so i can have a few more days before i hopefully dont have to face reality. xx

AFM I know I said I'd POAS today but I chicked out and DH didin't want me to do it. So I thought if I do it and its negative I wont be able to hide the disappoitment from him for another 3 days. I feel nothing at all this time which I'm hoping is good cause each other time I've felt things and it hasn't worked

Good on you Terry for not POAS :) sometimes i think they do more harm then good. Maybe this is the one for you and only 3 more days to go.
AFM still no AF :) but not due till tuesday, im very scared this time and nervous. I hope we all get our BFP's we deserve xx

Amy I remember the fresh transfers I had being painful. The FET I just has was completely painless which I was surprised at. I'll check out the photo on your blog after I've posted. Good luck for the 2ww.

Oneday Yes I had trouble with the full bladder and my hospital was over an hour late with their schedule. I was in so much pain I had to go to the toilet and then gup some water down. I was at the supermarket yesterday and I stopped by the HPT section but I didn't buy one so I can't find out until tomorrow. I'm feeling very nervous about it already. AF was due today and there's not sign of her but can't take that as a sign.

Terry Good on you for holding out with the POAS. I haven't felt much for a few days either just bloating and some (.Y.) tenderness.

FX crossed for 4 BFPs.

Oneday - Fingers crossed AF doesnt show up!

Terry - Maybe feeling nothing is a sign!

AFM - I got told by our Embryologist to call today between 2pm and 4pm to find out whether or not our other Embryo was good enough to freeze. We had my nieces christening today so when I got home at 3.30pm I called straight away, to be to the embryologist has already gone home :o Im so ****ed off right now!!! I dont know how im going to tell any symptoms this month, I have the sorest (.Y.) from the Puregon that I was taking, I cant even brush my hands over them without them aching, and the Crinone (sorry TMI ahead) is making me so constipated it horrible :wall:

DH is still in so much pain from his biopsy and the swelling hasnt gone down very much :( poor bugger. I have my blood test Wednesday week and he flies home from work on the Thursday, I really want to keep quiet and tell him the results when he gets home but I know its not fair on him. I feel like its not special if I tell him over the phone, and if its bad news I dont want to tell him and get all upset when we are so far away from each other.

Amy, i had sore (.Y.) with my Stim cycle too, its not nice. I have everything crossed your other little embie survived for freezing. I was the same as you, i always said i didnt want DH to find out over the phone either way, but first cycle i was so upset it didnt work i needed to talk to him to comfort me so i called, the 2nd one i promised id wait but i told my best friend it didnt work but she text him to say sorry (she didnt know he didnt know) and then he called me and was upset he found out through someone else and then with our 3rd when i get my BFP i was over the moon and just had to call but this time he was first to know and then when i lost the baby again i was a mess and rang him. But hopefully your stronger then me and can stick to your word lol. Hey i ws thinking before my clinic does the blood test 10 days after the transfer but iv noticed everyone elses waits are longer? i wonder why and last cycle when i was preg they did a test at day 8 and my HCG was good so i think if they can do it earlier they should because it such a long wait as it is. xx

Good news I got a :bfp:
My hcg level is 78 so still low and I have another BT on Friday to see if it's increasing. I have to take 2 lots of Crinone a day because the progestrone was border line.
I really wasn't sure it was going to be good news as I've had cramping and lower back pain all day. I kept going to the toilet to see if AF has turned up.
It's still sinking in.

AFM- Im about 99% sure its a BFN for me, AF due tomorrow and i have lower back pain and slight period pain :( I just keep thinking how am i going to move on from this one, i wanted it to be my time so much. I so hope im wrong, stay away AF!!!!!! How are you going Amy and Terry? xx

Oneday - Dont give up yet, its not over until the ugly aunt rears her head. Im going ok thanks sweet, just plodding along, DH has been in so much pain, I feel like ive been a maid for the last few days.

AFM - Good News! Our second embie made it to freezing!!! We have some mates coming over for dinner tonight and then its back to work for me tomorrow :(

Morning ladies. I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up too early and have been lying in bed with so many thoughts running through my head. I had very bad cramps and bloating last night but I read that is can be normal. I noticed a small amount of dried blood on the Crinone stick this morning so I'm praying it's the end of the embie burrowing and not the start of AF. I haven't had any cramps this morning. Guess I have to take it one day at a time from now on.

So hang in there Oneday. You could still get your BFP.

Terry Is your test this Wednesday? Not long now.

Happy don't stress its probably just left over blood lots of women get it. Just try to stay calm and I'm sure Friday will confirm everything is going in the right direction. Stay in here with us and let us help you through the next few days.

Oneday like the others have said don't give up yet sysmptoms are just that it doesn't mean you will get AF.

Amy glad to hear that you are doing ok but feeling sorry for your poor DH. he is probably of one the few that can say he knows the pain we go through trying to have a baby. Glad your other little embie made it for freezing hopefully you wont need to us it until your ready for number 2.

AFM well less than 24 hours to go now till testing and I'm really nervous. I've resisited the POAS only because DH made me and I'm worried that I've been in this position before still to be told sorry there was nothing there. I pray this time my body has done the right thing and its just not the pressaries masking AF's arrival.

Im pretty much out, no AF yet but pains and a BFN on a home preg test this morning.

Oneday don't give up yet you never know till you do your BT. It may be too early to show up on the home test and AF symptoms don't mean anything heaps of women have had them and still gotten a BFP

AFM feel so sick at the thought of doing my test tomorrow that my tummy hurts from that I think but sometimes I think its AF coming. My god the mind is sooo good at playing little games with me.

Today has been good. A few cramps and backache but nothing like yesterday.
I know exactly how you feel Terry. I was so nervous about the test and waiting for the phone call was the worst feeling. I really hope you get your BFP.

Oneday - Dont give up yet, iev heard of lots of girls that get negative POAS tests and then positive bloods.

Happy - So glad to hear your tummy and back ache are getting better.

AFM - Have been having cramping in my tummy all day and feeling very queasy, hopefully its a good thing! Just had a shower and my (.Y.) are covered in blue veins as well.

AFM AF showed up this morning! BT tomorrow but i know its over. I wish you all the best and hope this is the one for you. I really want to give up but i wont, im having 3 months off which is going to kill me but DH wants me to have 6 months off but i refuse too. In this time im demanding them to book me in for a currete and im also going to have a test done for celiac disease (was on today tonight), me and DH are going to do a detox and be as healthy as possible. Because to me a 24 year old 'with no problems' with 3 failed attempts and an early miscarriage concerns me, maybe im wrong but it cant hurt to do some tests. Im sorry for being so down but i am really down i feel like the past 8 months we have been doing IVF has been a total waist! It has emotionaly, physicaly and financialy taken over our lives and we still have nothing out of it. It crushes me to think that if this next STIM cycle also fails then adoption is the road we will take.
I will check every now and again to see how you ladies are doing, best wishes xx

Oh Oneday I'm so sorry AF has turned up. I know you just want some answers right now. Taking a break is probably a good idea. Also not sure if you've read the thread LTTC after Miscarriage or Loss. There are some great women in there that are very supportive. I never used to post on BB before until this thread was created. Reading the stories of women in a similar situation motivated me to consider trying IVF again. Good on you for having a plan and I hope you get some answers soon.

I'm getting more and more nervous as Friday approaches.

Oneday so sorry it hasn't worked for you this month. A break is a good idea when you are feeling so down. Ask your FS to get you to do some immunolgy testing if you haven't alreday done it and see an immunoligist to rule out other things. I got it all done and it takes ages for the results to come in.

Happy don't be nervous just take it easy this is your time I'm sure.

AFM the blood test has been done and the wait begins. I'm feeling so sick been here before where AF hasn't turned up but still no joy. The nurse was lovely though she kissed my blood for good luck.

Thanks ladies, im really bummed but thats how it goes with IVF, im definetly not niave anymore just because your young with no problems it dosnt seem to matter i guess its finding the right embryo. Sorry but it wasn't good news for me and I just needed time to myself. I was quite upset last night and as oneday said when there is nothing wrong with you it can get frustrating. I now need to decide whether I use my last one this cycle or wait a month. Not that I want to give up already but if the next one doesn't take then I need to do another stim so I'd want to fit it in this year too.

had my transfer today. Well only one made it to day 5, from the 6.

I know it only takes one.

Just had that split second of a thought about all the effort and so little response. But I really good grade embie at day 5 is better than none. Just not sure how many stim cycles I can cope with. I'm strong but everyone has their limits.

Must be going crazy though, driving home I'm singing stick little emby stick stick little emby stick
