    Hi everyone.

Finally my wait is over - BFN! Even though I knew it was going to be BFN I am still very upset. I found out at work and had to hide in the toilets and hae a cry before I could face anyone or anything. The clinic have said once I get my AF I need to wait a cycle then can try a FET. This is very strange to me as I am still bleeding so I believe I have already had AF. They said that my progesterone level is still up - of course it is up I have been on 3 pesseries a day for the last 9 days. Anyway I just hope I dont get another af in a weeks time then need to a month after that. I asked what they will do differently next time & they told me I will just need estrogen tablets then I will start progesterone pesseries a week before FET and I will need to continue them until I am 10 weeks pregnant (so about 9 weeks). I cannot deal with that - my night sweats have been aweful & I have only had 2 weeks of progesterone this cycle. Has anyone used estrogen tablets? What are they like?

Rosemarry - I was initially put on crinone gel twice a day post egg collection but I started bleeding day 5 post tf so was changed to the pessaries 3 times a day. They were apparently supposed to stop the bleeding but they didnt work. Because I am bleeding I was advised to use the pesseries rectally - you also get the white coating coming out when you go to the toilet. One advantage of using them rectally is that you dont have to lay down for 30mins after.

Sarah4kurt - I have not been given a reason from my clinic as to why i was bleeding. I will be seeing them in a few weeks and asking lots and lots of questions.

Thanks for all you thoughts and wishes and good luck to all those still looking good in the 2ww. Hopefully I will be back here soon.

Beau, I was hoping you would get some answers about the bleeding. You could ask about doing a natural FET if you normally O on your own? You just wait until you O and then have the FET the appropriate number of days after O. That's what I did this cycle. I am doing the progesterone pessaries, but I only started after transfer and would not expect to continue them until 10wks (since my body it also producing its own progesterone after O). With a medicated FET (what you're describing) you definitely need to stay on the meds until 10wks (because your body is not producing any progesterone of its own). If you can afford it, there are also progesterone injections, but I've been told they cost about $100 per injection, so you'd be looking at a lot of money (even if you only needed 1 per day, that would be $6,300!!)... You could always ask about it though. Maybe there's a way to get them cheaper?

    Thanks Juniper.

The clinic told me they would call me this afternoon after speaking to my doctor about my worries with the progesterone and night sweats so I will be asking to have an appointment in a week or so & I will ask about a natural cycle. My cycle was normal when they tracked me so long ago. My lining was a little bit thin but that was all. Does anyone know if u can do a natural cycle if you have thin lining? Or is there something u can take just to increase the lining? I will also ask about the injections too.

Hi everyone, I start having mild bleeding since yesterday and I think it maybe my AF is coming. I feel a little bit down. I did not reduce my dosage of pessaries because my dizziness and drowsiness are nearly gone. Only left two days waiting....

Someone start using progesterone after EPU, I always use it after transfer, does anyone know what it is that for?

Beau, thanks telling me there is pessarie rectally, I will ask my FS next time. Does the white coating come out it is normal? I was thinking I might not insert properly or my lying positioin is not right.

Sarah4Kurt - thanks for that info. When you took progynova did you need to take it from early in your cycle then take progesterone for ages? Was it called a HRT cycle or natural? I have an appointment with my DR in 2 weeks time so I will be asking about everything then. Good luck to you!

Rosemarry - the white coating from the pesseries is supposed to come out. Whether it is used vaginally or rectally it comes out and is pretty grosse. Have you had night sweats from the progesterone? Hope that your bleeding has stopped and my fingers are crossed for you for a BFP tomorrow.

Juniper - how are you going? Hope everything is going along well.

Good luck to Wishanddream & N2L also.

Hey beau, i took the Estrogen in the first half of cycle, and it was a HRT cycle so i had to take the progesterone for quite a while... till i got a BFN, sometimes your dr will get you to take it same time as your progesterone in sec half too.
it was ok but yeah sometimes emot. up n down. xo

Thanks N2L. I knew it was coming. Had a good cry yesterday and now wrangling with the seemingly-never-ending "What now?" question...

Juniper - I am so sorry too. Doesn't look like October is a good month for anyone so far

Thanks for that information Sarah4kurt. I am more worried about continous night after night of night sweats from the progesterone - so dont want to be on it for weeks and weeks. My last dose of progesterone was Tuesday morning and I am still having night sweats. My poor husband has been sleeping in the spare bed. I dont blame him though. I dont like wakingup in my sweat let alone anyone elses.

I am feeling much better than I was a few days ago. I was very upset and stressed out at work on Wednesday (I was training a new person and had no patience) so decided to take Thurs and Friday off & do things I want to do. Had a lovely day yesterday and I feel so much more relaxed now.

How do I get a signature? I have tried but its says I dont have permission to access my profile.

    Thanks

Beau, in order to get a signature you need to be a BB member which happens when you have a post count of 50 or more and have been a member for at least a month.

So sorry Juniper. I thought the list would bring you luck. I hate that moment when you know its over and then the panic of what to do next. It totally sucks.

Its not a lucky charm when they don't stick!!! I thought the odds were stacked against me when I did the list because the last two in a row got BFP's!! Then I did too.... But while I wouldn't change what happened, getting a non sticky one means I'm six months down the track with no more cycles having been done..... I'm so far behind and things are just getting older and older!!!!
At the moment I feel like I am in the TWW either AF will arrive or by some weird miracle I ovulated on my own..... (Zip symptoms though, so that's unlikely!)

hopefully we will all get there, so hard to think about what it might mean if I don't!!
