The tww is rather sneakily starting to get the better of me, I've been doing really well up until now trying to just keep busy and not think about it. I'm now 5dp5dt and have my bt in 6 days. I don't have any symptoms at all that can't be explained by the crinone I don't really want to start manically poas because I'll probably get obsessed with it, but at the same time I'd rather find out at home than from a phonecall! I understand that the trigger stays in your system for quite a few days, when would the best time be to poas?

Hi ladies! Coming to keep you company! How's it going for you girls? Furbabies & Kbudgie? Any symptoms yet? Hope you're staying sane!

AFM - 5 day embie is on board now, I hope... Transfer was all a bit weird, with the Dr not being able to see my uterus on ultrasound :$ I do have a retroverted uterus... Every single transfer they seem to have trouble getting there, I thought it would be straight forward?!? Anyway, the embryo looked nice apparently! Bloodtest is not till 20 February, so ages still.

me4ever i just watched a bbc documentary called the baby makers about a fertility clinic in Liverpool. As i have no experience with ivf it was very interesting. showed a lot of the lab stuff. they showed embies transfer including a fet and it was very interesting but also emotional. we are on the verge of fertility treatments ourselves unless we can pull off a post mc miracle, so it made for very interesting viewing .
transfer seems such a delicate part of the process, almost like they try and aim for the uterus and hope the embie goes where it should. It is so amazing what they can do though. They showed fertilization by injecting the egg and by introducing sperm.
can i say i am in awe of the ivf couples.
here's to a sticky embie for you xx

    Hi Girle!

Officially 1DPO today! Yeah!! Official BT not until 22nd but I'll be testing from 9dpo probably! I'm an addict.

Me4ever- congrats on your transfer. Hope it's a sticky little bean.

Furbabies- how are ou doing? Have you POAS yet? I'v enot done IVF yet but am on my 10th cycle of OI and am a POASer- I'm with you I'd much rather find out myself than from the clinic nurses. I believe that trigger can vary from person to person but I can take up to 7 days for it to completely clear ie to the point that you can't see it with squinting and turning it every which way in the light with a FRER. I usually POAS day 7/8 and it's negative or only very very faint shadow after time limit and then I know that everything I see from then is "real" HCG. What day was your trigger?

Kbudgie- I hope you get your miracle and don't need the IVF! Fingers crossed xxx

What do you guys think- is it possible to become more sensitve to the progesterone, evrey cycle I seem to get worse and worse fatigue. This morning I feel like I've been sedated and I've only had one dose! It's horrible. Good lucj guys- bring on the BFP's! Anyone else in here??

I'd call 7 days very quick. It can be up to 12 days. Most people seem to be around 8-10 days. Of course, all of those time frames are the time after trigger, not ovulation (ie 10 days after trigger would be 8 or 9dpo, depending upon what time the trigger was).

Welcome to the TWW club Lyra! Fingers crossed this will be the last TWW for a loooong loooong time for all of us! Are you sure the tiredness is from the pessaries? I'm not experiencing that at all... And I've been on pessaries a fair few times. Let us know how you go!

kbudgie - I was always really worried about starting IVF, I postponed it for as long as I could. I'm sure doing fresh cycles time and time again would be very draining. I've been very lucky with 8 embryos and have had no need yet for a second cycle. The TWW was extremely draining, especially the last few days, when I did do a POAS before the blood test and there were 2 times a very faint line. But both didn't progress into a BFP, well one did for a while, but still no baby obviously. In reality the transfer was not much different from an IUI, don't know if you had one of them before? I wish they could make it a bit more romantic and special by having some nice music, candle light Rather than a clinical room...

Furbabies, how's it going? 2 days to your blood test if I count correctly?! Have you done any POAS? How are you feeling?

    Thanks Kerbear!

AFM every second time I stand up I'm slightly dizzy... Hope that's a good sign and lots of blood is going to the uterus to implant little embie. Other than that, nothing yet. I suppose it's a bit early Only 2 days past transfer! Have a nice day!

Welcome to the tww kbudgie, me4ever and lyra stardust!
Nice to have some company in here Unfortunately I don't think I'll be here much longer I'm 10dp5dt today, got a BFN on POAS yesterday and today Will test again tomorrow morning then have BT on Monday to confirm, I'm still holding onto a shred of hope becuase I've heard of people not getting BFPs on HPTs until after BT anyway but I don't have any symtpoms so I'm feeling like its going to confirm what I already feel.

Good luck me4ever hope its a sticky one for you!! Isn't it funny how we start trying to read into everything our body does as a symptom, i've never been so intune with what my body is doing!!!

Lyrastardust - i POAS on 9dp5dt and it was BFN so atleast I know the trigger is out of my system, was more hoping for a faint line that would get darker every day!! Maybe I'll get lucky and have that tomorrow

kbudgie - it is very clinical isn't it, and not very personal. Your lucky to have 8 embies, I've only got 2 frosties but thats better than none and I'm looking forward to doing a FET if this fresh cycle doesn't work so that I can lay off all the drugs and not have to go through EPU again anytime soon!! Hows your tww going?

Furbabies I hope that Monday brings a nice surprise and you get a positive.

I will be joining you ladies in a couple of days in the tww. We saw fs after mc and we decided that we will use clomid and do natural cycles for most of the year until we can afford another ivf. She wanted to start straight away. She scanned me yesterday and I had one huge follicle at 19mm and another 5 or so at about 14mm so she has given us the DTD schedule for the weekend to try and catch it when I 'O' which should be Monday.

Good luck everyone, sending you all sticky vibes

Hi Kerbear - have fun DTD! Happy to see you're ready for TTC again! Fingers crossed you won't need to save up for IVF and get your BFP before then! See you in here tomorrow!

Furbabies - How did you go this morning with POAS? I never got a + till day before blood test, it all depends on when the little embie implanted, so there is still hope! BTW it wasn't Kbudgie with 8 embies, she hasn't done IVF yet. It was me... 5 left at the moment, but hopefully I won't need them, fingers x'ed.

Lyra - How are you going? How's the fatigue? Is your body getting used to the progesterone yet?

Kbudgie - Will you POAS? Or holding off until AF doesn't show up?

Emma - How are you keeping up? Trying to keep busy this TWW?

AFM - OMG I had such bad heartburn last night. I was awake for about 2 hours :$ I've never ever had that. Tried to look up if it's progesterone pessaries side effects, but not mentioned in lists. Also found some positive IVF stories of ladies who had it on 3rd day past transfer, also some negative ones :$ Argh, still 10 days to blood test and probably 9 till I'll POAS. Anyway, am trying to keep busy and cool, which is hard, as it's going to be 42 degrees today. Am over watching TV, DVD's, reading and cross stitching, what else is there to do, anything you girls do, any advice?! Sorry - whinge over. Sending you all sticky vibes! Xx

hi me4ever, I only got bfp late last time so I will try and wait until af is late but as I had the mc in December I don't know if I will bounce back to normal cycles straight away. I think I am 5dpo. feeling tired and had a headache yesterday evening, not that I am obsessing about symptoms lol. Don't know if I will poas before af is due, I don't want to get my hopes up or torture myself too much

Hi me4ever, sorry I put that comment behind the wrong name! 5 embies is great, but yes you won't need them! I did POAS again this morning and still got a BFN, not even a faint line no matter how hard I squinted! lol AF hasn't arrived yet either and I'm CD31, I think the crinone might be delaying it though and its on its way because I also have had a breakout today which is normally my hormones telling me AF is coming BT tomorrow morning to confirm. Hope your heartburn is a good sign! I always like to cook, bake muffins or cakes for DH, I like to find recipes for muffins etc that freeze well as well so I can make different batches and freeze them and DH can take them to work for morning tea
