Wow all of a sudden 2 poas'ers with a positive!!! How exciting... Lyra and Rai - I can't believe it! Bring on the BFP's! I don't know how much longer I can hold of on POAS'ing I've been feeling exhausted, slightly dizzy when I get up, also, what I noticed with last years pregnancy, was that my nails were way stronger than usual (absolutely brittle, the last few weeks, they constantly broke...), now my nails are sooooo strong! I hope a good sign.
I survived the baby shower, it wasn't too bad. I stayed with some non pregnant colleagues and had fun with them. Hopefully next baby shower I'll go to will be my own Fingers crossed and baby dust for you all! xx

Hi everyone, just letting you know that I just POAS'ed and it looks like it's a positive! The last 2 positives were massively squinting lines - but this is the first ever for me that's visible almost right away and not faint! I'm sitting here crying, am so relieved. I will do another test tomorrow to see if it's darker or not... Fingers crossed that this is a sticky baby as last one was a chem. pregnancy.
How did you girls go? Rai & Lyra? I'm keeping my fingers knees and toes crossed!!! xxx
Did anyone else POAS yet??? Greenslw & mummy2tje? sending you sticky vibes!

Hugs for now Rai! I don't think you're out quite yet. I held out on testing till 10 days past transfer, and almost 17 days since ovulation. Give it a bit longer?! Normally implantation doesn't happen till around 6-10 after IUI, then the HCG still has to start doubling! I'm sending you baby dust. When's your blood test?

OMG Me4ever that's fantastic!!! Praying it's a sticky one for you xxx

Rai- sorry to hear that hoping you'll get a proper BFP in the next few days. Fingers crossed.

Kbudgie- how are you doing?? Not long now...

    Any symtoms everyone else?

AFM- BFN this morning. I can still persuade myself there's a shadow of a line in a strong light but it's exactly the same as before so it must be evap or trigger still. Very dispappointed

Hi sorry just noticed this- I am on ovulation induction with Puregon and then ovidrel trigger and timed intercourse and progesterone pessaries for luteal support. This is my 10th cycle I think. 1 for DS, and then 8 for my last pregnancy that I lost. So onto lucky number 10...

hi there - just a question for serial POAS'ers, how dark does your 2nd line get, does it ever get as dark as the "base" line?? I'm using the FRER ones. Today the 2nd line seems a little bit fainter than yesterday's, but I could be wrong, it's very close if not the same?! There is hardly any difference. But the 2nd line has never been as dark as the "base" line. My husband says not to worry, but of course I do, especially after the chem. pregnancy in October last year. Should I even be comparing the three tests from today, yesterday and the day before? I have never done this before... Normally I do a test a day before the blood test is due and then just go for blood test the next day. I have no more pregnancy tests and will now wait till the blood test tomorrow.
Sorry about the all about me post. Am thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. xxx

Juniper - welcome and good luck!
Kbudgie - are you poas'ing today?
    Hi to everyone else!

no poas here. af had arrived.
me4ever, I don't know if your doc will get your levels checked but it may be useful to have them. my 2nd line was there but not as dark when I had my bfp in December but I didn't get levels from first bt

Thanks Kbudgie. I'm sorry about AF, she sucks doesn't she... Now the countdown to the lap starts. It's a bit double isn't it... You don't want them to find anything, just to proof you're healthy... But on the other hand, if they do find something you'd finally know why falling pregnant is so hard... And then you can at least do something about it! I'm glad I had my lap done 1.5 years ago, as they found endo and removed it... Hope all goes well for you! Keep us updated. xxx

Sneaking it to say congrats to Me4ever My POAS this time was so faint that I could barely see it both days before BT. I thought it was a neg but my BT HCG at 166.8. The m/c I had in July I tested 16 dpo and it was as dark as the second line and came up straight away. My HCG then was 678. Not too sure if that helps. I think each stick is different too even if same brands. Also depends on what time of day, how much you have had to drink. A line is a line. Call today for a BT. My clinic will do them early once I say I have a pos POAS. I think its worse to stess.

    Good luck..sneaks out...
