    Mind if I join you?

    Hi

Well I am 2dpFET (a blasty) . It is from the same PGD cycle that gave us DS. That cycle also gave us two frosties. We transfered the first frostie last month = BFN, so this is our "lucky" last.

I'm doing OK, so far... I was a little more confident last month (knowing I had two chances), but am not so confident this time around. I'm just trying to keep calm and level-headed (and follow every possible science and "old wive's tale" to assist with implantation LOL).

Just wondering, is anyone else getting the occasional hot flush? I think it could be the progesterone pessaries raising my body temp, but it freaks me out when it happens because I know we are not supposed to overheat during the 2WW.

Looking forward to chatting with you all and spreading lots of sticky vibes and baby dust!

    Welcome WTH!

Nice to see another face in here!!

Even nicer to see one (how shall I put this delicately?), of the same vintage as mine (and by vintage I mean mellow and refined of course! 39 year olds are at their prime!)

Today I am 5dp2dt. I had a bit of a hot flush yesterday but then it might have just been because it was warm here in Melbourne. I wouldnt worry too much about overheating (especially if it is your internal heater doing it). It's not like you spent two hours in a sauna or a steaming hot bath. Of course, I say that and then worry about every little thing I do (or don't do!)

For instance, I decided, after much researching many conflicting studies and web posts about the issues, to continue having my daily cup of coffee (ground beans/coffee machine) My FS has no problem with it. The FS that did my transfer (my FS was away) has no problem with it....Even the nurse at the clinic has no problem with it. On the other hand, many of the 2,938,120,983,012 million (or so) US clinic/infertility websites that i have read have a problem with it.
So as I sit here and sip a part of me thinks, it will be totally okay. The other part thinks...You idiot.

Same with sex. I have been feeling decidedly amorous over the past couple of days (as has DP!) but, even though the FS said it is okay at this
stage, I just cant bring myself to DTD.

Which obviously means one thing --- coffee means more to me than sex (and I loves me my cuddles!!!)

I am interested to know what "regime" you are following (both science and old wives' tale).

AFM: Cramping has subsided. I am trying not to talk myself into thinking that means it was definitely implantation cramping. More likely it means my body is adjusting to the crinone

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you better WTH!

Hurry up and join us Jaye Jaye (and anyone else out there!!)

Ha ha,i am at least a week off joining you n2l!!
Had first blood test this morning to see if i am surging. I would say no, its only day 11.

Love your coffee theory, and think one a day is fine!!! My issue was diet coke - i am addicted to it, but give it up when going through a cycle. I too have hot flushes, think its the stress - will be interested to see if it happens this time.

    Hang in there girls!!!!
    See you soon.

    hey nothing2lose
I am basically doing all the things listed on the thread you found me on (wanted: anything and everything to help with implantation), except we did not DTD the night before FET. On top of that I am having some odourless garlic tabs and tomato juice each day to gently thin the blood (I did this with DS). It is sort of an alternative to baby aspirin, perhaps not as full-on. I also read about and accupressure point one palm-width below the below button. I have been gently massaging this area with two fingers from time to time (small circular rotating movements) to help increase bloodflow to the area.
I am now 7DPO, so I think one day different to you. Will be fun to compare symptoms
