Hi girls.
Oh dear, sorry everyone is having such a hard time, its seems that everyone is going through some rough times.
Happybaby - i hope it all turns around for you. My sister had my nephew after her initial BT was "inconclusive". I think her first hcg was 30 or so, so miracles can happen. Hang in there.
Matthews mum - so sorry things didnt work out for you. Stay strong.
MelissaI - heres hoping your HPT was too early. Fingeres crossed for you.
Blossum - i know how you feel (see below!!)
To anyone else i have missed i hope you are grand!
AFM - well i was starting to stress yesterday, no symptoms nothing. Then cramping stopped, so i figured it was cramping and not just a muscle strain from yoga!! Then at about 7pm got a massive headache, and went to bed, woke up an hour later, thrrew up - violently. Several times. Yuck. But still no implantation bleeding. I guess this was key to me knowing it had worked last time. So this morning, went to the loo, and there was a little brown spot on my undies, but it is hard to make out (warning TMI!!!) as the crinone is also coming out. So all day (this is where the crazies kick in) i have been back and forth to the washing basket to check whether there really was a spot and there definitely was!!! However, i dont want to get excited, because the only other time i threw up was on our first cycle, when we had a chemical pregnancy. That time, i thought me throwing up was when things must have gont wrong, because it was about 2 days before BT, however this time its a way out. Anyway - of course i am over analysing everything!!! Ha ha, the TWW - if you're nt mental before it, you will be aftere it! Anyway, i think i will POAS this weekend. I dont even have any of them in the house as i dont trust myself, but i might go and buy some on friday!!

thanks ladies..yes happybaby i did a natural fet...
-
aaaargh this 2ww is really starting to play with my head!!! Way to early to test and am on pregynl for triggers... Not really feeling to many symptoms at moment except really tired but that could be coz im not sleeping well and constant niggling and bloating mainly uncomfortable and that is probably just from progesterone and crinone!!!
How early can you test from is the date from when you have the collection or transfer that they go by??
Hope you all doing ok!
Good luck today MelissaI
Happybaby i hope you have got some better news, fingers crossed for you!

Blossom, I just go by number of days post however many days your embie was when transferred. So today, I am 12 days post 2 day transfer which I guess is equivalent to 14 dpo? Hope that makes sense.
It is 3.15pm here and I am STILL waiting for the phonecall. I am going mental here. Will ring the clinic if they haven't phoned by 4pm.
-
Hi girls.
No goodnews for me this month. AF arrived this morning, twodays early in fact. *****. Still hasnt sunkin. Will call FS later to see what he says, would be good to go straight into FET but he normally wants to wait a month.
Good luck to you all.

Hi ladies,
I have been laying low in my 2ww which is turning into a 4ww but more about that later.
Melissa - Did you get your call yesterday. I hope that your lack of posting means you were out celebrating.
Jaye Jaye - I'm sorry that AF arrived. When is your BT, do you still have to go in?
Blossum - How are you feeling? I hope your bloating has gone done and you are feeling a bit better.
Matthew's Mum - What is your next step from here? Were you advised to take any kind of progesterone support?
Happybaby - Did you speak to your FS, did you have another followup BT? Hopefully your numbers are still increasing. I have my fingers crossed for you hun.
AFM - Well, had +BT @ 16dpo but very low, followup 48 hrs later showed the number doubling, 2 days later I started spotting, just a bit but every time I went to the bathroom it was there. The followup BT this Mond showed that hcg had doubled again, although still low, however the bleeding has increased and is just like a light but constant AF (but no cramping). I now have to continue pessaries & estrogen until Monday for another BT to see if hcg has increased. I am feeling like this is a waste of time and taking the medication is just delaying the inevitable as I have no other symptoms (even slight tenderness in BB's has disappeared). This is AGONY waiting. I can't believe my 2ww has turned into a 4ww, it is really starting to drain me big time.
-
Tantee thats horrible you poor thing its hard enough being 2ww let alone dragging it out, hopefully you get some good news on Monday...
JayeJaye sorry about this cycle fingers crossed for you for your next one.
AFM waiting waiting waiting starting to get frustrated and have over a week to go!
-
Tantee I can understand how you're feeling. I'm in a 3ww at the moment. My BT had increased from 150 to 399 but the nurse wasn't that hopeful. The bleeding seems to have stopped but still some brown crinone. I have another BT next Tuesday to find out what's going on. Hope you're ok and you get some good news next week.
Jayejaye sorry to hear AF turned up.
MelissaI Any news? Hope it's good news
Matthew's Mum Best of luck with your next cycle.
-
Jayejaye - big hugs to you hun
Tantee/Happybaby - hoping like crazy that those numbers keep on increasing. Good luck girls
Me - nope, been commiserating with plenty of wine. BFN for me. Am extremely interested to see what my clinic will try next round for us.
-
Hi girls,
Melissa - I'm sorry that your results were BFN. It is always a blow. I hope that your clinic comes up with the perfect protocol for you on your next cycle. Big Hugs.
Happybaby - How are you going? Have you gone insane yet? That was quite a good increase if it was over a 48 hr period as I know that look for it to double every 48hrs. Good news too that the spotting has stopped. I have my fingers crossed for you. I know that the wait is agonising to say the least. I don't think anyone not going through ART could ever quite appreciate what a mental challenge this whole process is.
Blossum - Hang in there!! Not long now.... Fingers crossed for you.
AFM - Well had my BT last Monday and hcg had increased nicely, however started bleeding a bit more the next day. It got a lot heavier on Sat and I was feeling light headed. I woke up to some localised pain and heavier bleeding yesterday morning (not like AF cramping) and started to get myself into a bit of a panic that it may have been the start of an ectopic. So for peace of mind, I went to the hospital and had BT & ultrasound (I couldn't wait another day until today, I think I would have lost it altogether). They confirmed that hcg had not quite doubled in 6 days and that they think they saw a tiny gestational sac in my uterus (which I am relieved about as it means at least it was in the right place) I am very glad I went yesterday (even though it cost me a small fortune) to at least finally have an answer. The ER doctor happened to comment that he and his wife were also having trouble conceiving #2 but he doesn't believe in IVF (awkward) and that at least the scan confirmed that it wasn't ectopic and they didn't have to "chop me open". Hmmmm, tactful no?
Had BT as a matter of routine this morning so just waiting to speak to FS and see where we go from here.
-
OMG, I am not out of the woods yet. FS says my hcg has increased by 100 in a day so is still concerned at possibility of ectopic so another 2 day wait for hcgs. I am officially freaked out now!
-
Tantee thinking of you love, its hard enough as it is this journey let alone to have to deal with what you r going thru now!
AFM i am freaking out a bit too this is my first cycle where i decided to use chinese herbs as well... i have always done acupuncture but have never done the herbs and today i was in at the clinic and it seems that i have had my wires crossed and have been taking 4 x the amount that i should have been taking, aaarggh!!! Now i dont know if that has had a affect as i got really bad fertlisiation results and who knows what it has been doing to my body hopefully only good things.
They said it was ok just really expensive and not necessary (obviously) and that everything is natural but even natural can be bad on your body sometimes anyway whats done is done im really hoping i havent done damage.
She said im looking good for BT on friday as i have a lot of good signs but i know think its been all the bloody herbs!
-
Hi all
Phew...I never thought I would make it in here!!!!! Finally -- the Two Week Wait!!!!!!!
I had my transfer this morning. Two four cell, grade 1 embies. In the best piece of news I have had for ages, the FS said they were "perfect", and, to be honest, they looked pretty good to me! (however, I may be biased) :) I am with Melbourne IVF so it was a two day transfer.
For those who dont know me, this is my second stim cycle in as many months. The last one ended in a D&C due to mucus in my uterine cavity. I have one little bubsicle in waiting from that cycle.
I notice most of you guys already in here are at the tail end of your waiting. Hoping and praying it all goes well for you!!!
Take care x

Congrats on your transfer, that is great news. Here's hoping that they are snuggling in nicely. Sending you tonnes of sticky vibes........
How are you going Blossum? Is tomorrow BT day? Best of luck to you hun xxx

Hi blossum. Hugs to you. This thread has certainly sucked the last few weeks. Hope you are ok.
AFM we are having our last blasty put back this month. Cant believe we are going back to back cycles. So in one more week i will be back in the TWW again.
Good luck girls.

Hi Jaye Jaye
Looking forward to having some more company in here!
AFM - I am 2dp2dt and I have very mild cramps/ache at the moment. Of course I am hoping it is implantation but more than likely the crinone (it gives you cramps right?) Like I said, very mild. Boobs are sore too. But they have been for days!
-
Thanks girls...
N2L fingers crossed, sounds very promising so far stay positive, yeh yeh...
Ill be popping in to see how you go, thinking of you x
-
Thanks Blossom
Trying to stay calm and positive (but not too positive).
I have these low level cramps still which I dont know what to make of...Crinone? Implantation? My body rejecting the embryos?
Also, and this is going to sound weird, but I am worried I am using the Crinone correctly. I have read lots of horror stories that it is horrible stuff that leaves cottage cheese like clumps in your bits :o Either that, or brown leakage.
I have had neither. Nor has the applicator "stuck" as some people said it did for them.
Basically (and sorry if TMI) I just put the applicator in as far as it will go while still being able to hold it with my fingers, then squirt....
That's right isnt it?
-
hi love that is right! I think you are meant to clean it out a bit down there too (not too sure) ???
Look forward to hearing your updates and i have everything crossed for you x
-
Mind if I join you?
Hi :D
Well I am 2dpFET (a blasty) . It is from the same PGD cycle that gave us DS. That cycle also gave us two frosties. We transfered the first frostie last month = BFN, so this is our "lucky" last.
I'm doing OK, so far... I was a little more confident last month (knowing I had two chances), but am not so confident this time around. I'm just trying to keep calm and level-headed (and follow every possible science and "old wive's tale" to assist with implantation LOL).
Just wondering, is anyone else getting the occasional hot flush? I think it could be the progesterone pessaries raising my body temp, but it freaks me out when it happens because I know we are not supposed to overheat during the 2WW.
Looking forward to chatting with you all and spreading lots of sticky vibes and baby dust!
WTH ;)

Welcome WTH!
Nice to see another face in here!!
Even nicer to see one (how shall I put this delicately?), of the same vintage as mine (and by vintage I mean mellow and refined of course! 39 year olds are at their prime!)
Today I am 5dp2dt. I had a bit of a hot flush yesterday but then it might have just been because it was warm here in Melbourne. I wouldnt worry too much about overheating (especially if it is your internal heater doing it). It's not like you spent two hours in a sauna or a steaming hot bath. Of course, I say that and then worry about every little thing I do (or don't do!)
For instance, I decided, after much researching many conflicting studies and web posts about the issues, to continue having my daily cup of coffee (ground beans/coffee machine) My FS has no problem with it. The FS that did my transfer (my FS was away) has no problem with it....Even the nurse at the clinic has no problem with it. On the other hand, many of the 2,938,120,983,012 million (or so) US clinic/infertility websites that i have read have a problem with it.
So as I sit here and sip a part of me thinks, it will be totally okay. The other part thinks...You idiot.
Same with sex. I have been feeling decidedly amorous over the past couple of days (as has DP!) but, even though the FS said it is okay at this
stage, I just cant bring myself to DTD.
Which obviously means one thing --- coffee means more to me than sex  (and I loves me my cuddles!!!)
I am interested to know what "regime" you are following (both science and old wives' tale).
AFM: Cramping has subsided. I am trying not to talk myself into thinking that means it was definitely implantation cramping. More likely it means my body is adjusting to the crinone :(
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you better WTH!
Hurry up and join us Jaye Jaye (and anyone else out there!!)
n2l
-
Ha ha,i am at least a week off joining you n2l!!
Had first blood test this morning to see if i am surging. I would say no, its only day 11.
Love your coffee theory, and think one a day is fine!!! My issue was diet coke - i am addicted to it, but give it up when going through a cycle. I too have hot flushes, think its the stress - will be interested to see if it happens this time.
Hang in there girls!!!!
See you soon.
-
No Jaye Jaye...a week is too long! Get your follies to grow faster!
I have not had a coke zero since January 15th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
I used to have two or three cans a day.
I am proud of myself :)
DP has given up too...He is now guzzling Lipton's Iced Tea
-
hey nothing2lose :D
I am basically doing all the things listed on the thread you found me on (wanted: anything and everything to help with implantation), except we did not DTD the night before FET. On top of that I am having some odourless garlic tabs and tomato juice each day to gently thin the blood (I did this with DS). It is sort of an alternative to baby aspirin, perhaps not as full-on. I also read about and accupressure point one palm-width below the below button. I have been gently massaging this area with two fingers from time to time (small circular rotating movements) to help increase bloodflow to the area.
I am now 7DPO, so I think one day different to you. Will be fun to compare symptoms ;)
-
hi ladies, well i'm back in here, had a fet (blasty) yesterday, last one we had in the freezer, hoping our lucky last!had some blood streaked cm last night, heart saying implantation, head saying too soon, probably from having the transfer.Hope to read some good news soon.
-
Hi Matthew's Mum and welcome :). I was told after my transfer there may be some spotting because of the sensitivity of the cervix. The progesterone pessaries/Crinone can also cause spotting. Wishing you all the very best with your transfer - I am on my lucky last, too!
AFM - yesterday at 14dpo I POAS and nothing showed up, but about an hour later I noticed a very faint line. I manically googled all day and it seems the brand, Pregnosis might be a bit dodgy. Used the other test from the same packet this morning and got a super super faint line within the time limit. But not feeling overly confident - surely should be a bit darker at one day past my due AF. I am putting it down to late implantation or a chemical pregnancy. Going to buy another brand today and retest...
-
WTH - sounds promising to me!!!
Try to get a first response early response test. They are very accurate!!!
Sadly I am out :( After cramping and spotting on the weekend I did my bt early and it was a bfn :(
Oh well, back to the work bench!!
In the meantime I will be stalking.....good luck!!!!!
-
nothing2lose-sorry for the bfn...where there's hope-hope the line gets darker, are you on the prog pessaries?my clinic didn't put me on them as they said i didn't need them(i'd still like to be on them though)don't trust my body to do what is supposed to do naturally, acupuncturist put me on a herbal mixture to help with prog.
-
N2L - I'm so sorry for the BFN, hun. Good luck with the next stage of your journey xx
Matthew's Mum - I did a natural FET cycle and with my FS it is protocol to put us on the pessaries. But they did make a point of saying that most women don't need them: that it is just to "catch" the few who need it and to help build up our linings.
AFM - bought the Crystal Clear test (before i read that First Response is the go). I wish I didn't. I got the teeniest tiniest line I've ever seen (like when I have been 10DPO). I did use 6 hour old wee, so I am blaming that for the moment.... arrggghh!
-
just sending some good luck vibes to all in the dreadfull TWW
hope you get some of them and we get som BFP's in here soon. x x
-
Thanks JBM ;)
Today's update: Pregnosis slightly darker this morning in the right time frame, but Crystal Clear (the two line test) still hardly visible. Have just had the BT so all will be clear this afternoon. I have been feeling queasy since Friday so this is really messing with my head
-
where there's hope-can't wait to read your next post, best of luck...jbm-thanks...afm-had another acupuncture session yesterday, feeling positive one minute ,not so the next...
-
Well, the result's in, as suspected I am (slightly) pregnant. My HCG was just 35 (at 16dpo) which is considered a "low range pregnancy". It can go two ways from here, most likely a chemical PG (if I am being realistic) or be a late implantation (if I am being optimistic). Retesting Friday to see if the levels double...
-
fingers crossed where theres hope for it to be late implantation. :-)
-
It's not over yet wht!!!
I have read lots about women with low hcg results who go on to have healthy babies! I will be praying for you!!
Take care x
-
where there's hope-my fingers are crossed for you as well.
