Hi ladies. I had my FET today and am in the tww. Very happy to finally be here
,although I know it's gonna be hard. I've had cramps today and already gone nuts....I know it's probably the progesterone and procedure, but my illogical mind has been let lose and has been googling. Tut-tut!
WTH - everything crossed for tomorrow BT.
Nice to be here with you all x
-
where there's hope-hope the bt went smoothly,& the results are great...williever-welcome & the best of luck...afm-i'm in the 1ww,checking toilet paper, poking boobs,no spotting since the night of transfer, boobs feel are bit tender, having an oesteopath session tomorrow.Acupuncturist suggested to stay away from icy drinks & food.
-
Oooh I just had to pop in and check on you WTH! I am keeping everything I can crossed for you sweets :crossfingers::goodluck::pray:
-
WTH - all the best for your BT
Matthew's mum - I hope theweek goes quickly for you x
Afm - have had cramps and a sore back all night. Woke up in pain throughout the night. Def. Not constipated iykwim!!! Just done some housework and now back to doing nothing. My mind is racing. Learning how to do sudoku!
-
Willi - When's your BT???
-
PS Are you on crinone? I found it caused cramping and back pain.
-
The 4th. A week Monday I think. I'll be fine when I'm back at work. Doing nothing is not good at this time!
-
Only on progesterone which causes cramps to I've heard
-
Yeah, crinone is progesterone gel
Are you using pessaries?
-
Yep pessaries every night.
-
Williever - welcome. Spreading lots of :pink-babydust::bluedust: your way. With DS I had cramping just in the couple of days before AF was due, but this time around I have had cramping pretty much the whole time...
Matthew's Mum - For DS and this time around I tried to feed my belly with mostly warm and room temperature foods. It is an Eastern idea for conception :)
AFM - thanks to all the lovely visitors popping in. Well, it turns out, my HCG did not double over two days, it QUADRUPLED  from 35 to 136. Clinic says it is safe to rule out a biochemical PG, which they classify as not going over 50. Another BT on Tuesday and viability scan has been booked for 3 weeks time. Trying not to be too confident, but so far that is the first milestone passed!!
-
WTH!!!!!! A massive CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
I am so, so happy for you!!!
I will be continuing to stalk you :)
Woo hoo!!!
Take care x
N2L

where there's hope-great news,congratulations!
-
Thanks N2L and Matthew's Mum. I am trying to stay level-headed about this given my MC history. S/he is a PGD bubba (like DS) so hopefully s/he will stick around.
-
Just wanted to jump in and say a big CONGRATS to WTH on your BFP. Yay I'm so happy this one worked for you and hopefully you will make it to the Pregnancy LTTTC forum before I leave it again.
I'm so happy for you...
-
WTH - great BT results. Congratulations! Sending you sticky vibes. GL xxx
-

:) I'm back!
Hi to all the lovely soon-to-be-pregnant ladies in here!
I had a transfer of 2 blastys today, went pretty well except i didn't have a full bladder  we had to be there so early it was hard to get water in, but it still seemed to go fine!
I really hope this is all of our last time in here!
I'm trying to be postive this time, don't know if we've got any to freeze yet, will find out in a few days. Looks like its going the same way as last time, which only gave us 1 to freeze and it was a bfn, but can't dwell on that, will concentrate on the 2 I've got in !!
whereheres hope-big congrats to you on your bfp!!!!
Lets hope its the beginning of many in here xx
-
Saffy
Congrats!!! Dont worry about having only one to freeze. This one is going to be the one (or two!) -- I am sure of it!
I will be back in here soon myself (I hope!) It's day 6 on a natural FET cycle for me.
One question...I have read a few posts from other women about full bladder for transfer. My clinic didnt ask me to do it. Not sure why? Or why not?
What is the theory behind it?
have a lovely relaxing day :)
n2l x
-
Great Saffy! Lots of sticky vibes for you. Double the normal amount;-)
-
morning everyone ,saffy-glad transfer went well, best of luck.my fs doesn't ask for full bladder for transfer..??williever-how you feeling?.. afm-having small amounts of nausea, doesn't hang around for too long though, occasional lower back pain, boobs are bit sore, poas in the morning.
-
Matthew's mum- I am feeling ok. Back ache, some soreness in bbs(normal for me at af), cramps have continued too. Had some strange pains very low down so was worried about an infection of some kind. Still trying so hard to ignore everything.....
Huge GL for tomorrow poas!!
Saffy - how are you feeling? I had to fill my bladder. It just makes the picture real clear for the FS to direct the little emby. Mine was so full I think I peed a little!
Quick q - did anyone leak a little fluid after transfer? My mind is running away with me.......did I leak my emby? Etc, etc, etc!
-
williever: when i had one of my FET's i asked the FS what stops it flling out ?. he said it is like putting a rasperry seed in the middle of a squashed raspberry jam sanwich and trying to shake it out. it won't happen. try not to worry. sticky vibes for you
stick vibes for all
WTH: fingers crossed for a continued sticky one.
-
williever-i'm been told at previous transfers that some fluid can leak out & that it is nothing to worry about...afm-bfn this morning, hoping it was too early though i'm 8 dp5d transfer, maybe i'm just grasping at straws.
-
matthewsmum- sending some :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:: stickyvibesgirl: hope it was just too early, try again in a couple of days xxxx
-
Thanks saffy, are you sore at all from transfer?Have you got some time off work?..
-
not sore at all, i'm good thanks, have today and tomorrow off, lounging on the couch!
-
Just popping in to wish everyone lots and lots of luck in your 2WW!! Sending you all lots of sticky vibes :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
What helped me was to vege out on the couch for a couple of days watching lots of funny movies and trying to forget about the 2WW (I know it can be very hard). I think the laughter helped :)

MM - I hope it is too early. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi ladies,
I hope you don't mind me joining you. After a cancelled cycle last month I'm now awaiting my egg collection which is scheduled for tomorrow. Feeling a bit anxious that they won't pick up anything - my drugs were changed to GonalF/lucrin this time around, which has resulted in me stimming Veeeeeeery slowly compared to when i was on Puregon/orgalutran. I'm a low responder and scans show only 2 follis which should be to size so I'm crossing everything that i'll have two embryos to put back as this may be our last attempt.
Our very first IVF in 2008 resulted in our beautiful 2 yr old son - he was a single egg collection, 6 cell at the time of transfer, so we are very blessed.
Wishing you all the very best of stickyvibes and I hope to witness many a BFP on this thread !
-
Hi there deni....welcome and good luck for this cycle x
Hi everyone, how are we all doing? I have a cold, neck ache, leg ache, back ache etc, etc. This did happen the cycle I had a chemical preg. So fingers crossed there is something happening......that or I just have a cold!!!
-
Hi Deni and welcome, good luck for today's epu, hope to see you in here soon with an embie or two on board xx
Williever-I think its good to have a cold in the tww, cos your immune system is lower and your body is more likely to not reject the embie, actually that sounds like a load of rubbish now I've said it but hey, go with it!!!
Matthewsmum- are you still having symptoms??? Hope so xx
Are we the only ones in here? Stickyvibes to anyone lurking xx
I'm still in the innocent stage of the tww- naive, hopeful, etc. No cramping or anything, on twice a day progesterone, and herbs from the acupuncturist so these embies better stuck like glue!
-
Hi girls just popping in to wish you luck sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Hope to see some good news in here soon, dont go too crazy in the 2ww x
-
Hi
I just want to wish Matthew's Mum, Saffy, Williever and Deni (and N2L shortly) all the best for their up and coming BT's :goodluck::crossfingers:;)
AFM - followup HCG bloodtest: 759 today, not earth moving but (apparently) a standard rise over 4 days from my last reading of 136. Being my paranoid self, the clinic have agreed to another test in a week's time...
Take care x
WTH
-
WTH - those are great results. To ease your worry you should do another test, in fact as many as you want, but try to also enjoy being utd. I'm sure you will feel better after next week's wonderful test results. So happy for you!
Hi everyone x
Afm - well I have had more cramping, back ache, back pain (sharp pains right in my lower spine), headaches, tender bbs, a cold (for one day), high temp............all of the above have been linked to AF for me..............so at the end of the day...................I have no idea!
-
Tra la la la la!!!!!!
I'm going fricken crazy!!!!!
Sore & hard lower tummy, lots of cramps in uterus area, shooting pains up my ve-jay-jay when I sit at the wrong angle, rock hard & really sore boobs, sore lower back, dizzy, tired...
I officially hate Crinone and next week can't come soon enough.
I'm over it already.
:grouphug:
-
wow thats some good symptoms elocin, looking good- I have sweet F.A.!! (well, sore boobs but had them last week before transfer so probably doesn't count), its a loooooooooong few days that have gone past, I need to get back to work to be distracted...
-
Wisdom tooth is now joining in with the fun......I guess that's why I'm feeling run down. Hopefully it will pass soon!
-
Elocin & williever- hope all those symptoms mean a +ve for you, I kept my IVF forum post when i found out i was preg with our ivf bub in 2008 and I described what was exactly like AF symptoms - fingers crossed it means a bfp on its way for you!
Wherethereshope-congrats on your numbers, hope to see them go up and up!
Saffy, thanks and best wishes to you to !
I'm not officially in the TWW yet but the good news is they managed to collect two eggs from the only two follicles I had. Will hear tomorrow if either have fertilised... it's going to be a long night/morning!
-
All the best for your two little ones deni xxx
Have a good day everyone.
