Mildez, Yeah I do have to be on the Prednisolone at least 2 weeks before we start to try, so given we have 13 snowblasties, we will carry on with FET in the future, because being on the prednisolone is such a strong drug.

Girls, I love you, you know that? X

Murraycod I too thought if I had 13snowies I too would go for the FET instead of the natural ttc especially when you have been on such a long road to get here to start with. It was just curiousity if the NKcells were the only problem if you could be on the meds whilst ttc naturally. I guess its not something you want to be on for a longer period of time (as ttc can be)

And and another question Murraycod (bearing in mind I might be a fertility nurse one day ) do you take the prednisone til bub is born now? Sorry for all the questions but you know maybe it will help me one day in my career

finally joined a thread after reading a lot

    Hello everyone

I wanted to join your thread yesterday but couldn't bring myself to interrupt when you were all worried about Murraycod. Congratulations by the way. I'm glad to join in when there is good news.

It was good to read your personals as I've been reading about your journeys in the other mc & loss thread but I didn't have your full stories. I didn't feel comfortable joining that thread and this one is more suited to my situation.
We have been ttc since the start of 08 and I had already turned 35. We were getting BFN month after month. I know now that I waited too long to go to the doctor. We started seeing a FS in April 09 and he told me a had a septate uterus that is prone to mc. I was booked in for a laprocospy and a hysterscopy one month later to remove the septate and endo that was also there. I had about a month to recover and then my FS recommended we go straight to IVF because of my issues and my partner has low sperm count. I started on a down regulated Stim cycle. We went through all of it but it didn't stick. There was a month break and then we started on a Antagonist Stim cycle but same disappointing result, the embie didn't stick.

It was December now so we had to break for Christmas and we had a holiday in NZ to visit my family. AF was due on the 27th and on Xmas day I had some dark spotting which stopped. AF didn't turn up and I waited until NY's Eve and did a POAS. To my surprise there was a faint 2nd line. Well you can probably guess the ending otherwise I wouldn't be in this thread. It was a nasty shock to finally be UTD naturally and then mc 3 weeks later.

We are still trying naturally now. I never liked IVF and I won't go into to much because it's great for some people and for the lucky ones it works first time and they never have to get onto the emotional rollercoaster that I could see us joining. Maybe one day I might give it another try if we don't succeed naturally. I'm 37 now and have started to prepare for the realisation that we might not be parents.

Last month I started using OPK and taking BBT because my cycles were around 40 days after the mc. They seemed to have returned to normal and the last cycle was 34 days. I'm on CD17 today and have noticed some EWCM. I did a OPK yesterday which was negative and I will test again today. I usually O on day 20. Hopefully this will be our month.

Looking forward to having your support.
