    Baby Bliss-
Good luck with everything. That would have been a very difficult decision to make. Now you are ridding yourself of all that stress and worry make the most of your time with your son. I'm sure you'll enjoy every precious moment with him.

I'm not feeling to confident at moment. Have had strong cramoing today and yest. Now just waiting for AF. Due Wed but feel she gonna show real soon.

I know just how you feel. I was in absolute torment before my last blood test. I was taking loads of progesterone after embryo transfer and was getting absolutely all of the usual pregnancy symptoms and then some. Every twinge was an implantation pain in my head, and then a moment later I was sure it was my period coming, and it was unfortunately.

So what I have learnt is that you have absolutely no control over AF. If it is coming, it is coming. Look after yourself and try to stay positive.I know it is very hard to do, but try. You never know it might be good news. Some women have a bleed and still get a positive!

    All the best

    Hi Ladies

Baby Bliss - all the best

Sarams - I have just joined this forum as well and I have found it to be enormously helpful, at last people who know what I am talking about...they are in short supply in my life at the moment.

I hope everyone had a great new year. I am taking it easy at the moment. We had a great surge of trying naturally over Christmas, unfortunately my endometriosis is none too impressed with this and I have been in quite a lot of pain. I think part of me is trying to have one last hoorah before IVF... just in case... which is irrational considering DH's sperm count etc. It will be interesting to see how I go with my next appointment with my endo specialist as I can feel another laparoscopy coming on.

Baby Bliss - Congratulations on making your decision. It must have been a very hard one for you, but at least you know now what path you are going to take and can concentrate on that (and your little one)!. I don't know if i would have been able to make that decision. If i had a DD or DS, then maybe, but I'm not going to give up until I can hold at least one bubba in my arms. Good luck for the future, and if you ever get the urge, drop in a say hello.

    Much love...

Kell, take care of yourself & enjoy your family. It's a big decision to make & one that I have often thought myself as I have DD. What/who do you put more energy into? I'm sure you'll feel more satisfied with your decision as the days go by.

I hope everyone else is doing well, I am so out of date as to where everyone is so a big Take Care to you all.

The AF Gods are so bloomin' cruel to me.... I am flying home tomorrow morning early from my Christmas vaccation and AF has just started. God I can only pray that there will be only berable pain and no excrutiating pain. I don't know how i can travel with bad pain. AF was five days late, surely she could of come just a day or two earlier as not to cause an inconveniance for me. Once i am off the plane DH will pick me up and we have to drive 3.5 hours north. Could be longer if the traffic is feral......

Please please please let there be no horrendous pain!!!

Well in saying that I hope i have taken AF away from someone who has been IVFing or IUI or trying bigtime this month!!!!

    Take care...

    Love and licks

I saw my specialist today about why the last attempt at IVF didn't work. He said basically he was surprised that it did not work. It should have in two attempts given my age etc. So he said before we have another go I need to have an HSG. I've already had a HYCOSY so I'm a bit gutted. I hope you get lucky. Miracles do happen and if you can be spared the heart ache of IVF all the better.

I sincerely wich you all the best xx

Leis - I know that pain you are in and hope that it subsides soon, it's just cruel having endo, there is no other word for it :hugs:

Thanks for the kind words Sarams, I am hoping like mad but dont think this is going to be the month. I have an odd feeling about everything, I am on my TWW and cant explain why but can just tell that nothing has happened this time. Normally I imagine all sorts of symptoms. I miscarried in 04 and knew straight away that I was prg during that particular tww. (the other times I have thought I was it was just my mind playing tricks on me).

I hope your RE can shed some more light on matters with your HSG.

Kell Good Luck and all the very best. Thankyou for being here for me when I needed you. Lets hope without all the IVF stress you will have a much calmer time and enjoy your little man some more. A very couragous decision you made there.

I am just wating for AF to appear this month hopefully at Day 28 on the 14th and may even get in a Natural FET this month with any luck. Am waiting to speak to Dr about transfering 2 embies seeing as how 1 hasn't worked for us the last 2 times.

Thanks very much for the kind words. I went to see my GP today just to fill him in and get some advice about sticking with the clinic I'm at or changing. He gave me some good advice but also tried very hard to keep me grounded and realistic. I came away from my consultant yesterday feeling too reassured really because he almost promised me success. You're right, about the age thing, but it's so easy to get carried away with positivity when on paper everything is in your favour.

    j- girl

It's unfortunate that the body plays tricks. I knew my first attempt at IVF hadn't worked two days after the embryos were put back and I couldn't tell you why at all. This time I was so sure that I was. I had all the shooting pains which of course you tell yourself are implantation pains. I had the most horrendous dore breasts, I had a tiny spot of blood at the time implantation should have occurred, I had headaches, nausea you name it I had it. but in the end negative. you just can't tell which way it's going to go. A good good friend of mine had terrible period pains and new she was pregnant straight away and miscarried unfortunately at 13 weeks. She now has a lovely little girl after 13 months of trying and she had no symptoms to alert her to being pregnant and didn't believe it. So even for one woman pregnancies can be very different.

I think the trick is to stay positive but realistic. I'm natural as well this month and I have no clue whether it has worked or not. I have a splitting headache if that means anything!

    STAY POSITIVE
    :hugs:

I meant to ask. Did you get pregnant on your third attempt, and was it a frozen cycle. I'm sure you have already written all about this but I'm a very lazy girl and can't find it!!
